Accomplished my OWD certification with Force E Pompano with Roman Giconi as my instructor. Roman is highly knowledgeable and a fantastic instructor! Shout out to all the awesome staff that helped me with my gear purchases and patience in helping me choose what I needed. I highly recommend Force E Pompano for all your certifications and gear needs. After some more dives under my belt I will be looking forward to advancing my diving specialties with Force E. Recently got open water certified through this Force-E location. It was a wonderful and fun experience throughout the entire process. Roman was a wonderful instructor. It was great to have such a patient and knowledgeable instructor. The last two dives where absolutely amazing. Anyone looking to get certified, definitely recommend this place and Roman as an instructor. Although, the entire staff seems equally as wonderful.

Eric Steighner did an outstanding job as Instructor for the PADI Seal Team course. My 8 year old granddaughter was delighted with him and everything he taught her about SCUBA. He was patient, funny, and very helpful throughout the class. She cant wait to start her Master Seal Aqua-missions!

My daughter enjoys the Bubbles certification program so much that we are doing it again as a repeat customer. What a wonderful family find here at the Pompano location!The best part being my daughter felt so comfortable, where she could absorb so much more and have fun doing it. This is the best place to get tanks fills or equipment rentals in Broward county by far. This shop is clean with only nice and new dive gear, nothing dusty or deadstock from the 70s laying around. Everything you need.

One of the best dive shops I have been to. They carry high end gear which is what I like to buy to keep me safe and comfortable underwater (Kalcyon, Apeks, Atomic, Carter). They have great selection, fast fills with a 38% bank which is perfect for diving in this area.

I highly recommend Roman for your dive training, especially when we actually witnessed his diving skills when the weather changed unexpectedly. Roman went well beyond the call of duty to ensure all divers exited the dive safely.

Used them once before and was pleased however trying to do a trip with four students, needed to make a reservation for rental gear and they will not take a reservation. I can’t plan a trip around not having things 100% confirmed. Very disappointed and going to try to find a different shop in the area.

I did my open water diver refresher with Akela. I made all my arrangements for my pool and open water dives via phone and text (I live in CT) - couldn’t have been easier.Akela was great! During our pool dive, Akela reviewed everything with me in detail and we moved along at a pace set by me. If I wasn’t comfortable with a skill we practiced until I was. During the open water dives we reviewed a few additional skills. He pointed out a number of points of interest during our dive. And he got some great pics!When I’m in the area, I will definitely contact Force E Pompano for my future dives!

Hey Ryan R here. This past weekend 6-5-21 was my first open water dive. I chose Force E because my mother recently took a refresher coarse and was very happy with how comfortable the staff made her feel while completing the course. I flew in from NY to dive with my mother in the pompano area. Before arriving in FLA I had spoken to Roman and Akila a few times in reference to setting up my dive. Roman was very helpful And helped me to chose the SSCopenhagen and the Nursery. Being that I was certified in 2019 in New York and was not able to dive for the first year due to Covid and other factors I decided to hire Akila to take some pictures and also help me with some refreshers for my first time in Florida. When I first met Akila we introduce ourselves and he told me all about how he became a diet instructor where he’s dove in the past, I was very jealous of his time spent in the Fiji Islands doing research and working with sharks. He took a lot of time to explain to my mother and hi that safety was the most important thing to him that day. Then I only did we have a good time diving but that we were able to make it back in one piece. He he took his time and made sure my mother and I understood everything from setting up our tank year to explaining how the dive would go where we would start and where we would finish. He made it very comfortable for me. That being said I only made it through the first dive. I became very seasick on our way to the second destination the nursery and so did my mother well we need to stay on board for the whole second dive Aquila was very helpful and making sure that we were all right, Remind me to drink water because it was very hot out and made me feel comfortable by telling me it was really no need to be embarrassed that it just happened to a lot of people. I think them very much for his kindness and let them know that although I was disappointed I could not do the second dive I would make plans with him again to come down here and dive with him through for see Scuba in the near future. Thank you guys very much for making this a memorable time for me and my mother as this is the first time we have those together helping me to make an Everlasting memory. And that’s what it’s really all about for me! Hope to see you guys soon

I’m so happy with the training I got here. Candidly, my open water certification started with a Groupon search and some “great deals” but ultimately I went with my gut and paid the price to get the SSI certification for Open Diver with Force E. I was skeptical, since there appeared to be many other “deals” in the area, but I heard about the Force E reputation and they certainly lived up to it. I feel like we really had the greatest instructor ever, Roman, and I feel confident in my abilities after an intense week of diving and training. I truly cannot reccomend them enough, and honestly, knowing what I know now, I feel like I underpaid for how incredible and comprehensive their training program was. 10/10, Force E all the way🚀🚀🚀

First week of May I went on vacation with my close friends who are both scuba certified and wanted to get certified myself for many years. My girlfriend had just gotten certified two years before by Cheryl and highly recommended her to me. I am so happy she did!I was pretty nervous as my swimming skills are not the best, but Cheryl called me a couple days before we were to meet and made me feel at ease. Not only is Cheryl very professional and friendly, she easily reassured me and made me feel very comfortable and confident. I loved how she explained everything, breaking it all into small groups and explaining what we would be doing under water, and then well under her skill at demonstrating, before she had me do it, was fantastic. She did not make me feel rushed at all, and brought a very calming presence to the lessons.Her patience and reassurance was exactly what I needed and I will definitely tell any friends or family that are getting scuba certified, especially in that area, to see Cheryl, and she is definitely my first choice to continue my scuba training.

AMAZING!! This store was recommended to me by a friend and I went in for all my scuba gear. From the minute I walked in everyone was so kind and helpful. My friend and I were also looking at matching dive computers and they only had one in store but had another one at the Boca location. Great place. I went in to browse as I am working on getting certified. The staff was super friendly as I told them what I was there for, I was expecting to get brushed off or pushed to buy something. Neither happened. The three staff members, who unfortunately I didnt get anyones name, all helped me out gave me some pointers on gear and set ups. I also got a compliment on my shirt!! 8/9/20 around 230pm. Ill definitely be back!!!

Force E has great staff and great prices for their rental gear. My girlfriend and I booked a pretty last minute and wanted a professional with us to guide us on the dive, the staff are so willing to dive. Akila offered to go and helped us every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend him for training or as a dive guide. I wish i could put a 4.5 rating though because the scheduling was a bit confusing for me over the phone. We thought we were going to do a nursery dive and a wreck and ended up doing two reefs which were still great, but we werent sure what the change was. Overall, i would recommend Force-E to anyone who asks me and would continue to do more dives and certifications through them!

The greatest scuba place on earth. The most relaxed yet respectable and responsible people I have ever met. I got scuba certified here and plan to expand my scuba career much higher due to the amazing experiences I had here! The instructors are fun and nice but also strict and stern. The best scuba experience I have had so far. I dont even come close to living near this place but I plan on coming back more than a few times. Great place to learn, refresh or expand. Great shop. Went out of their way to hunt up a band for my computer. Love the free air fills with purchases. What is awesome, is that they cascade fill Nitrox so you dont need a costly o2 clean.

I planned a 15 day trip to Pompano Beach Florida, made arrangements with Peter Michel with Force-E for instruction on 6 specialties, to build the skills we will use most in our diving, and completed my Master Diver Certification. Peter was a knowledgeable, patient, and calm instructor and planned a great training itinerary. He let my husband dive along with us when my husband already had the certification that I was obtaining.The SSI specialty courses I completed were:NitroxDeepWreckNavigationNightStress and RescueThe training was private, not with a group, which I was pleasantly surprised about. The private setting allowed us to focus on me and my skills, not divide the instructors attention among multiple students. Pompano Beach was the perfect location for this type of training because we experienced a variety of sea conditions with rough water, calm water, surface current, underwater current, boats using giant stride entry and others using rollback entry, and so on. The repetitive diving was the best thing ever to solidify my skills and build my confidence.

Best and nicest dive shop you’ll ever find. Patient and informative staff and respects beginners and a novic like me. As a novice and beginner, they’re great at honest opinions and doesn’t seem like they are trying to upcharge. Prices are reasonable and their service is excellent. It’s nice that they’re open early and stay open late.

Our family loves this store! They are well stocked and have knowledgable, friendly staff. Were not highly experienced divers and they make us feel very comfortable.My daughter and I both took classes with Sam Fretz and we highly recommend him. He is totally tuned in to his students and made us feel safe and secure.
