Purchased a Bare Mens EXOWEAR Full Zip Jacket thru Amazon. When the item arrived I noticed a tear near the top of the zipper, which I documented with several photos prior to returning. When I received my refund I was charged a $79.98 restocking fee. I was shocked that I was charged for a damaged item sent to me by the merchant and that they intend to restock the item and still attempt to sell it. Amazon overrode the shops restocking fee and refunded 100% of my money (Thank you to Amazon) but I thought the Vendors policy was outrageous and unwarranted. UPDATE: Owner claims suit was in perfect condition when shipped. I order approx 300 items on Amazon a year. This is the FIRST time anyone has shipped me damaged goods and then tried to scam me. I ended up having to purchase elsewhere at a slightly higher cost, it would make no sense for me to deliberately damage a product just so I can return it and buy it somewhere else at a higher cost. I have no doubt you have run this con on other people and that you intend to resell that damaged suit multiple times and charge a $79 restocking fee to every single one of those unsuspecting people. You are a dishonorable business person.
Online Purchase. I started my search for the ultimate 3mm wetsuit about two months ago. I noticed a price discrepancy on Divers Discount Florida and made a call to Sam. This guy is a wealth of knowledge and took the time to follow up on my question and actually called me back. TWICE!! Wonderful customer service, fast shipping, and a coupon for next time. No wonder they have been in business 40 years.
Customer service is an issue. Bought a Hog Octo, and paid for overnight USPS shipping. Sent them this email I am hoping you can mail the Hog Octo today, I am in the Virgin Islands, and friends are flying down Thursday morning to visit. It would be a huge help if it could get to them on Wednesday. DDF sent a response Done. You would think all was good. When it did not show up and I checked tracking DDF sent it 2 day to be delivered on Thursday by 7:00PM. When I sent them an email in hopes they would have some solution or make it right, here is what I got back. We are sorry, we shipped it to be delivered by Thursday by misinterpreting your email. We thought you needed it by Thursday morning.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. Terrible customer service. Owner was rude and acted like he was doing a favor by helping you. Not professional at all. Heard they screwed my friend with crazy return policys and restocking fees

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing dive gear. Sam was a great resource and made sure I had the best setup. Sams knowledge of his products was second to none. Will continue to shop here as it was a fantastic experience!
