My husband bought a truck from this dealership. We started having issues with the motor. Come to find out the motor was switched out. But on the car fax when he bought it it said it was the original. So basically theyre not Truthful and selling lemons. About to get our selves a lawyer. We were lied to. The motor has spray paint marks indicating its not the original. And this company needs to be shutdown for that. So much stuff was switched out of our truck its not even funny. Extremely disappointed in this company and how much money its cost us. $600. In payments every month and weve put so much money into this truck. Do not buy from this company you will regret it!Plus we had work done to our truck and the motor had YELLOW writing. We all know what that means. They lied on our car fax. The motor was DEFINITELY changed out. When the car fax did not say it. Crooked company! Were so disappointed about the lies they sold us.

We had a great experience! My husband saw an F250 online for a great price and did an inquiry to see if it was available, and they got back to him within 10 minutes letting him know they still had it. He went down there to check it out and liked it and got all the info he needed from Troy. When he went to start it, they had to jump it, because the battery was weak, but Troy said if the batteries were an issue to let him know. Other than that, the truck was in excellent shape, so we ended up buying it. The financing was easy and Troy even encouraged us to go to our credit union if we wanted to, unlike a lot of dealerships out there. After 5 days the truck batteries started acting up, so my husband called Troy and he had him take the truck to their shop. They checked it out, did diagnostics on it and then ended up installing 2 new batteries in it for no charge! We never expected that! We knew this was as-is and the truck is 15 years old, so there could be issues. Troys willingness to go above and beyond for us has earned him a loyal customer!

Overall so far I am really happy with this place. Me and my wife went there I told the sales agent what down payment and what monthly payment I can afford and I told him I had a pretty good credit score. We tried different vehicles - most vehicles are sol as is do a thorough check on them.... There was a couple we liked but they needed fixing. We saw a less than 2 years old Chevy cruze with only 40,000 miles on it and we decided to get it. I liked the friendliness of the staff. They checked many different lenders and they made sure I received the best possible offer. I am considering to to turn to them for our next vehicle

After a frustrating week and looking for a new truck in a certain budget, I inquired with Harmon about a certain truck listed on the website. Harmon was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Even though the truck had been sold that day, Harmon did everything in his power to find me the truck I was looking for. Although we could not find the right truck, I have to give Harmon a big thumbs up for his efforts. Two weeks after speaking with him, out of the blue he sent me a text asking if I was still looking for a truck. Very professional and driven to make his customers happy. I originally came in to look at a truck I had seen online, but ended up leaving with my DREAM truck. Tony and Harmon are the best, they got me in a beautiful truck and kept my payments & down payment very close to what I was asking for. Bought an f250 from them that seemed fine during the test drive only to have the check engine light come on less than 5 miles from the dealership. Turns out the vent canister is clogged which means I cant put fuel in the truck! Called back and they said their mechanic had no problem putting fuel in it which means they never tried to put gas in it. Hence it was on empty when I bought it. Now its been two weeks and I have a giant hole in my valve cover. Might want to have your vehicle checked out before you buy it.

Had a negative experience at Universal Auto Sales in Plant City while searching for our next car. The people working here are absolutely rude and obnoxious. We told them we wanted to get the car checked by our mechanic and they refused! My husband has worked on cars for many years and stated to them that the engine should not be sounding like that. When we brought up the issue they kept trying to avoid the question and getting us to buy it AS IS. They ganged up on us like vultures. Finally we managed to get out of there, and while we were walking out they started bad mouthing us loud enough so we could hear. Unprofessional!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I bought a relatively new truck, only 25k miles when I bought it, I have not even put on 1k miles and my check engine light came on and the vehicle would not turn over. I had my truck towed to multiple dealerships and they all are telling me I will need 5-8k worth of repairs done on it just so I can drive it! I contacted Universal Auto Sales of Plant City multiple times about this, I spoke to the manager and after telling him what happened, he said all vehicles are sold as is. Now I cant get to work, or use my truck. I dont know where they are getting their vehicles to sell, but I would not be surprised if it was from an auction. Dont take the risk here, I thought I could save some extra money going to a place like this and its ending up costing me more than if I were to go to a dealership. I am so livid! Their customer service is garbage!

DONT BUY HERE. Sold me a 2009 f250, they advertised as clean truck. I asked about flood damage since it was from Texas, they claimed no issues. The truck looked clean. Come to find out they swapped out a ton of parts to hide damage and spray painted underneath to hide all the flood damage. I paid high retail as I needed a truck for my business. Ispent 3k within the first 2 weeks and now Im getting estimates for 8-10k to fix more issues caused from flood damage. Paid 28k for a truck worth about 18k since it has flood damage and its going to cost me another 8-10k on top of the 3 k I already spent. Ive owned the truck for less than 2 months. Great service when I bought the truck but they scammed me. Ask me if they have returned any emails or phone calls or attempted to make his right, NO.

They lied to the bank about the down payment which was added into the cost of the car...then lied again by saying they paid the extra money to Help. No! They lied about the extra money so they guaranteed the sale so that they got paid!The only truth they told was that business was slow and they needed to sale some cars.And that they did! Sold them no matter what lie they told to make it happen. You know, cause they are such good hearted men just wanting to Help...oh please...these men are crooks and nothing more!And no need for the owner of this dealership to reply for the sake of saving those fake faces named Harmon and Troy, cause they are the ones that lied and cheated to get that cash that an 18 year old young women actually worked hard to make.This place is trash, ran by trashy lieing people!Oh and the washer fluid box was missing the cap and we were advised that we could go buy one for a couple dollars at the auto part store...HA! The price went up from what was listed to what you got them approved for....no worries, proof of the that as well. You call that help?Hence 1 reason why you agreed to cancel the deal.3. Lets talk about the scams which you admit to btw. Gotta love it!I very much had a problem with. Once I found out, that is. Hence the 2nd reason this contract is now cancelled.You not only added the boyfriend to the loan without permission. You listed him 1st on the loan.THEN without my knowledge or consent, you falsified his address to match mine and my daughters so it wouldnt red flag during approval.Which ultimately forced him to be added onto MY insurance, which I had no problem paying when it was for my daughter ONLY ad I specifically told you both that he was not to be on the loan!Thanks to all your so called help...you almost put my daughter in a situation, binding her to someone she is only dating...Anything could happen.Your scamming did in fact link him to my address. I doubt you understand my concern there since you claimed to be unaware of your own financial laws which you make a living at.And lastly let me remind you that you did NOTHING out of the kindness of your heart!You did everything because I had and still have all the proof of what yall pulled and thought youd get away with. Save your time and money. Vehicle has many unaddressed problems. Drove fine when I got it out the lot but week later all the problems are starting to show. Sold As is. Beware and be cautious! No warranty was offered and said they do not have a warranty, asked multiple people that worked with me during the sales process and what I was told was crystal clear, SOLD AS IS. Only gap insurance for 899 was offered. I did take my vehicle to your shop days after the problems started showing up, your techs did NOTHING and was told vehicle sold was AS IS.

Troy sold me a 2012 F250 that seemed to be ok condition later to find out that it had NO steering stabilizer, no brake pads left, bad routers, and bad wheel bearings. $4,000 later and a head ache later I just want future buyers to beware. HIGHLY recommend buying elsewhere and if you MUST buy from these crooks that you take it to a mechanic for an inspection first.

Universal Auto Sales really took care of me and my needs. They were all very understanding and never once did I get a bad vibe from them that they were trying to pull one over on me. Coincidentally after I got my car, I came to find out that my co-worker had also purchased his car there and had rave reviews for them and their facility as well. They helped me to find a better loan option that helped to save me money. They were so sweet to me and my son who was there & getting super bored. They had a little bucket of hotwheels for him to play with and even made it a point to give him one to take with us when we left (in my new car none the less! :) ) These guys are just all around good & trust worthly people. You wont regret purchasing your car from them.

Bought a 2014 Chevrolet truck. Paid 32,000$ and ac compressor went out in three months!! Universal did nothing to help.... Sold as Is...Which meant a piece of crap!! I can say only good stuffs about this dealership

Started out as a typical sale, truck broke down five miles from the house. They said they would take care of it which lead me down the path of many lies and mis directions. Two months later i have no truck and they refused to give me another truck or my money back. When they finally gave me the truck back, broke down again two days later, took it to another shop. Came to find out everything they said they were going to fix, never got done, parts were left loose, old gaskets were used among other things that they said were replaced. They offered a rental car, but didnt want to pay for the truck i needed, and i had to pay for it and they would try and reimburse me. When it came to getting my hard tag, took them three months to get it. I ended up having to drive a week with an expired tag because law doesnt allow more then two temp tags. If you buy from here be prepared to fix else where
