I visited the store, went home, and contacted the store with questions. I ended up ordering a sectional and an ottomon via phone. Tony helped me with the process. I also went back in the store because the price of my sectional set had went down a week or 2 after purchase, so I was issued a store coupon. Anthony helped while I was in the store. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful and answered all my questions. I will shop with them again.

Dont ever buy extended warranty for 3years . After 2.5years with coffee table. The feet broke off. Claimed warranty. Dennied claim due to not cover frame.

Everything is great till you report something to Fortegra, they refer you to the many pages policy which ensures you get nothing.Rooms2go agents do anything to convince you to buy the extended warranty by telling you everything is covered, dont worry. The truth is, rooms2go is SCAMMING you and just taking your money.Dont ever ever buy their extended warranty and better find somewhere else to buy furniture for your lovely house.Customer service average wait time is 40min and you can imagine how helpful they are.

Michelle at the Plano store is amazing!!! She’s professional yet very personable. She’s very knowledgeable, answered our questions thoroughly, and helped us think creatively. I bought this table only a week ago. And it soaks in stains even if you clean them right after. White marble coffee tables are made with extremely bad material. Customer service did nothing to help out. Make sure that you know they do not have a return policy. They are not clear about their no return policy. Do not recommend.

Had a great experience purchasing new living room furniture! Walked in and was expecting to be bugged by salesmen but total opposite! Vince introduced himself and asked if he could help us, we let him know we were just looking and he told us to let him know if we needed anything and he gave us our space until we found what we were interested in and went back to him for help. He came to us immediately and helped us through the entire purchasing process and our many questions and mind changes along the way. We had a great experience here! We came in one day, and couldn’t make up our minds, so ultimately left and had to take a night to think about our purchase. My mom and I went in to upgrade and purchase my bed during Memorial Day sales as we have purchased all of our furniture from Rooms to go. Jeff Moses is a great salesman. My wife and I went into the store in plano to look at a replacement for an internet order. He spent an hour helping us and answered all our questions even though the sale had to go through the online store. I would highly recommend asking for him if you want a good honest down to earth salesman.

Michelle was wonderful in a bad situation. I purchased a couch through Acceptance.The first delivery the delivery guys dropped it and messed up the mechanics. It had to be replaced. The second couch was defective, and it was replaced this Saturday and it was warped. Now I want a new couch, and they are now saying I have to pay taxes again and a service package. So basically $393.23 for their errors. If I was white, they would have allowed me to pick a new couch the same amount. And no additional fees. Now I have to utilize MY Black Magic to just get a couch for the $1600 couch I’ve paid for already. Michelle has the best Customer Service Skills I’ve ever experienced. And I have been buying items from Rooms to go for the past 14 years. She calmed me and ensured she would assist me to comply with RTG and receive happiness from my purchase.

I will never do business at this store again! They don’t carry thru with what they tell you. They get your business and then they are done with you. I’ve been in the customer service industry for 33 years and know a thing or two about customer service. Where this store suffers the most is service after the sale. I spent 5000 dollars with this store so you would think that would mean something to a furniture store but I guess not. They don’t return phone calls and they won’t let you talk to the store manager. So if you buy from this store and something goes wrong well all I can say is good luck!

When we first arrived most of the sales associates we saw were busy helping other people. We walked around and found the sofa I wanted to look at. A few minutes later Steve Germany walked by and noticed we needed help. He was very nice, knowledgeable, friendly and gave me some great information. I bought the Bellingham (sofa & love seat) by Cindy Crawford. I was told by another sales representative that walked by (while I was waiting on Steve to get the exact fabric name for the accent pillows I wanted) that this furniture was very well made. Steve had already explained how it was assembled but it was great to hear another salesperson echo what he had told me. He also demonstrated how to get a pen stain out of the fabric. I can’t wait to get my furniture!

Went in to buy a new living room set and the salesman greeted us at the door and was very helpful, he showed us the furniture my wife had seen on line. we purchases exactly what we wanted he made everything to quick and simple, we called our daughter and told her to come up there and ask for him because she was also looking for new furniture. When we moved to our new house, my family was overwhelmed trying to find to perfect furniture. However, we came across a great sales associate, Michelle. She made finding the right furniture with great prices very simple and super efficient. She is also very smart and while we showed her where we want the furniture, it was very obvious she has great taste. We were very happy working with Michelle.

On 02/28/2021, I purchased a bedroom set from Rooms To Go. The furniture was delivered on 03/27/2021. There were three delivery guys in an unmarked truck arrived. The guys built my furniture outside my building complex. They left all of the boxes, plastic and Styrofoam outside, so I had trash blowing all around my apartment complex (I received numerous calls from from leasing office. I had to go and pick up of the trash they left behind to avoid being charged $250 from my complex. My dresser and mirror was scratched and damaged from them building my dresser and scratching the concrete (I can see the wood on a $3000 bedroom set. My bed is on the floor because it was not properly put together and they took the screws with them. 05/11/2021, it is now three months later and my bed is still on the floor and I have a damaged dresser and bedroom set and I am out of three thousand dollars because I cannot return it and have not received a resolution from Rooms To Go Plano and/or corporate.

Michelle is very patient and thorough. Loved the way she explained the difference in mattresses. Will definitely do business again!

I would rate 0 stars if I could. First of all, no transparency about NO RETURNS. There are a million reasons someone might get an item into their home and just not like it, and they won’t let you. If somehow they allow you to exchange, it HAS to be greater or equal in value. On top of that, they do not let you use the reminder of the amount on items directly from their vendors which is 2/3 of their website stock. R2G is a really terrible company with sleazy practices. They got me, but never will I recommend this company to anyone ever. Thx

I had a wonderful experience shopping at rooms to go. The furniture piece I picked felt good quality at a very nice price. The thing that stood out though was Jeff Moses, he was super low pressure, not at all a vulture like other furniture competitors I visited earlier that day. He was always checking on us without making us feel pressured or watched. He was knowledgeable when I asked for accent piece suggestions, and offered us a great solution to help protect our wood floors from scratches. He thoroughly explained the fine print as we made our purchase. He also volunteered to stay on top of delivery dates to see if we could get our furniture any sooner. And as a new parent with a 5 month old baby with me, I became very nervous when a customer came in close contact without a mask, I very much appreciated how he politely asked them to please put their mask on. I will definitely be back and I will definitely be asking for Jeff.

The whole buying process was great until I waited three months to have my furniture delivered and when they delivered it, It was used with dog hair and loose change in it!And the only thing they can tell me is that I’ll have to wait another two months for a new one to be delivered. So unacceptable. Didn’t offer a discount, didn’t offer a faster delivery for the new couch that we’ve already waited three months for. When they deliver your couch just make sure that it isn’t already used. Disgusting. Won’t be buying anything from there again. You can see in the pictures all the dog hair and random change this is what they delivered to me. I didn’t pay $3000 for used couches, I didn’t even get an apology

Ordered a bedroom set worth $4300. Paid out of my pocket. Item suppose to be delivered on march 15, 2021. They rescheduled it on June 2, 2021. Sales man called and informed that it will be delivered ahead of time and to be patient. I called customer support and found out that it will be delivered on June 10th. Feels like the worst service I ever received. Everyone acting like they do not care about customers. No body reached out to me for last three month with any sort of update. Not buying anything from them and not recommending rooms to go to any one I know.

My husband and I along with our 2 children walked around for TWENTY FIVE minutes without anyone offering us any customer service! You would think at a store location where most of the employees are foreign black families would receive better customer service. Right before making the decision to leave a very warm and friendly lady named Michele came up and offered my family help. Because of her my family left with a new table for a really great price! My advice for black families is to call ahead of time and see if she is there otherwise take your hard earned dollars somewhere else. A place that is willing to cater to the black dollar just as much as its other counterparts. This store GM should be singing Micheles praises.

Often sales associates do not bother to attempt to communicate with them. Tim was not that. He spoke to my mom in her language which we appreciated. He asked about her needs and I knew we made the right choice to get Tim to help us again.

I seriously regret wasting my time with this company. We won’t even get into the horrendous and misogynistic experience my mom and I had at the Plano, TX store. It was my fault for not seeing that as a red flag. There was a couch that I loved in the store, but decided to buy online so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the store. So I ordered the couch, waited for my delivery date and monitored the status on the day of. The scheduled time frame was confirmed several times that day and no indication that they were early. So I quickly ran to a convenience store across the street since I still had 45 minutes before the time frame. I received a notice that they were 30 minutes early 3 minutes prior to their arrival. When they called, I asked them if they could wait just a few minutes since I was only across the street. They said they would need to reschedule and couldn’t come back during the original time window. I was annoyed and felt that good customer service would have at least waited 5 minutes, but I realized that it was my fault for thinking I could run an errand prior to the window.So I contacted customer service and couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. So I opted in to the call back option - *shocker* I never received a call back. So I tried the chat message and was able to get ahold of a rep. He said I could get it delivered a month from the original delivery date, I asked if I could be put on a waitlist for an earlier date. He said there was an earlier date (today), and, another shocker, there was no confirmation. So I checked the order status online, and shocker #3, the customer service rep never rescheduled my delivery. I contacted another rep who was thankfully way more helpful. However, I learned that the couch I ordered and was ON THE DAMN TRUCK READY TO BE DELIVERED HAD BEEN SOLD. I also learned that the earlier date I requested previously apparently was not approved, but I never received a notification or call. And they attempted to reschedule the delivery for October. (purchased in early July, supposed to be delivered in August) So my order (which I had paid for already) was sitting in limbo and Rooms To Go was perfectly content with keeping my money rather than reaching out to schedule again. The ONLY helpful customer service rep I spoke with was able to schedule for the 18th of this month, but I wouldn’t be surprised if something else goes wrong. And if it does, I will be cancelling my order and taking my business elsewhere to someone with superior customer service.

My wife and I stopped by Saturday and met Vince. We told him what we wanted and he was kind to show us. Then we went outside our comfort zone and he obliged with every question imaginable. Cleaning to price variations to structure of furniture. He was up front about stock and.potential delivery barriers. Thanks Vince for making it easy.

Went in Rooms to Go having gone to a bunch of other furniture stores already frustrated with the limited inventory and salesmen that were either rude or annoying. However, upon walking in and initially greeted by Mark who right away dissolved a lot of that with his good nature and warm welcoming. He initially gave us our space but when we were ready to inquire about a couple of couches the detail he knew and showed us about a few different products was incredible. Most salesmen can’t even tell you the brand without looking at the label but he took apart and showed us the details of the construction and both my wife and I felt taken care of and walked out feeling really confident about our purchase. The couch will be delivered this week which is also a big relief. I highly recommend Rooms to Go and at the Plano location, definitely ask for Mark, I typically don’t give many reviews but felt compelled to due to our frustrations and hopefully help others get right to a good location sooner!
