I initially gave this shop a 5 star rating two years ago. Since theyve had new management the past 6 months or so, theyve been nothing but scammers. I need an oil change and fuel injector cleaning done today but will be taking my car elsewhere. Im done with you guys.

Today I visited SpeeDee because a different mechanic damaged my tire and not only did they squeeze me in (while they were a mechanic short) and very busy, but they fixed the issue in a very timely manner. This SpeeDee had been my oil change station for many years. Recently, something happened to this place. The service quality had gone down to the bottom. They tried to cheat me ... yes. They showed me dirty air filter and A/C filter and suggested replacement. But, I changed both of them before I went to SpeeDee. What they showed me were not from my SUV. E.g., my Toyota air filter is yellow; but they showed me was a dirty white filter.Of course I did not let them change filters. Instead I decided to change my oil change station!!!

I am not sure why they call this place Speedee as speed is the last thing on the mind of employees at this location. Do not ask them for anything other than oil change as they are clueless about any other mechanic job. You will only waste your time and money at this location.

I went in with a check engine light issue right before having to go out of town. Tony went above and beyond to get the part that was necessary to resolve my issue today. He took me home while the repairs was being completed and even vacuumed the front seats for me. He charged me a fair price and now I’ll be able to leave on time. Definitely will recommend to anyone and now a repeat customer.

Was told it was $25 per filter, with $10 off if I got both done. Well, the air cabin filter was $45,and they charged a whopping $30 for labor for what is essentially a 5 minute job. If you value your money at all, just do the filters yourself.

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. I am extremely happy with the service I received. Everyone is so nice and welcoming which is always a bonus for me. I got my AC fixed over two weeks ago at Plano SpeeDee location and they did a great job after having been to two other places in the last year to get my AC fixed. I received exceptional service. My car just recently broke down on me and I had to get it towed to SpeeDee Plano on Parker Rd. The guy who works there name Moe provided excellent customer service. He reassured me my car would be taken care of and will be ready for pick up in a timely manner. I have finally found an Auto shop that I can depend on to fix my car whenever I have problems with it.

Best place in town to bring your car. Ive tried out quite a few different places in Plano since moving here. I have always received excellent service and care while bringing my vehicle here. Moe is always thorough and genuine in what he recommends. I will continue to recommend this place to family and friends.

Little disappointing that the old crew is no longer there. Took my car and declined a service they recommended. Later I went some where else for this service and they informed me the previous place had broke a piece in my glove compartment where the cabin filter should have went. I know for a fact that this was true because earlier in the day I took my car to have at washed and cleaned out my glove compartment, at this time there was no additional piece broken piece. At this point it is not really worth taking it back and I will find a new place. I really miss the old crew.

I googled and found this place and the great reviews lead me to come on in. I went in for an oil change and the service was great. Mo was great! Mo also informed me of other recommendations for my car, and there was no pressure for me to get those things completed in the same day. I will return to this place in the future!

This is my first oil change since I moved here to plano. I was in and out in about 12 minutes and the service was great. Very polite and professional. Not only did I get the oil change but he notice a few things out of place and took care of it at no extra charge. I will definitely come back here.

**THEY ARE DISHONEST**I chose this place because of the positive reviews. What I got was terrible. The guy working there lied to my face and told me the only oil made for my vehicle was synthetic. I even insisted that I didnt believe thats true. I think I would know considering I have had my oil changed before. But just to make sure, I checked my manual and it says either conventional or synthetic will work. Hmmm.... Wonder why he would have wanted me to get synthetic? Could it be because its way more expensive??Of course, I went right down the road to another place and they laughed at the story I told them and gave me conventional meeting my cars viscosity requirement.Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else more trustworthy

Saw a good review of this shop from Google and decided to give it a try. I have driven in around 4pm and asked the manager (his name is Peers) how long do I need to wait for a car inspection. He has said 5 minutes. Even its not that short. But, its close. My car is diesel and needs only safety test. Last year Firestone has charged me $15. But, SpeeDee charged me only $7 this year. What a difference! Definitively will drop by again for their great service.

Absolutely amazing and quick service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I couldnt believe how quick I was in and out. Got oil changed, they topped off all fluids, put some a it in my tires, and even vacuumed my floor boards. Highly recommended, I wont go anywhere else after that great experience!

Mr.Peers at this location always remembers me by name and always takes care of my cars, quickly, thoroughly and with friendliness and professionalism. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my general maintenance.Update: change of ownership resulted in the loss of the above mentioned stellar crew. Now the service is poor. Peers and his staff were incredibly professional, and had surprisingly much lower prices on the same fuel system cleaning compared to other big national brands right across the street. All the staff members were very polite and friendly. Even the bathroom was spotless. I definitely recommend people give these guys a try.

WARNING!!! Do not go here! I have to spend over $500 to get my car repaired at another shop for the costly damages that the mechanics made at THIS shop!!! Their warranty is useless. If your car breaks down on the road for a damage done by this shop, the owner is UNWILLING to pay for towing.I would give this place negative 10 stars if I could. I spent over $300 and over 5 hours of my time at this shop to get my power steering pump repaired TWICE. And because these mechanics did a very poor job in installing my power steering pump the first AND second time, my car broke down on the road, I had to spend over $100 to get my car towed to the nearest repair shop, and I had to spend over $500 to repair the damages that the mechanics at the SpeeDee Oil Change did to my car. I initially had no idea why my car broke down on the road, but the mechanics at a different auto shop explained to me that the poorly installed power steering pump was the source of the problem. The screws were not aligned or in place correctly. One of them was completely loose, causing the belt to fall out and causing my steering wheel and my car to become immobile. The other screw was drilled deep into my engine. When I explained this nightmare to the CORRUPT and GREEDY owner of this SpeeDee Oil Change, he did not care that the expensive damage done to my car was caused by the mechanics at his shop AND he was UNWILLING to pay for the towing service to his auto shop. Unbelievable!!! This is HORRIBLE customer service.This is corruption at its finest.

Moe helped me when I came into town on Saturday. I needed my oil change and my steering fluid replaced. Not only was he fast, but really personable and easy to talk to. It was my first time getting an oil change here. True to their name the service was speedee 😉. The expeditious service did not take away from the professional and courteous and friendly customer service I received. I also appreciated the fact that they did not try to upsell me any additional products. I highly recommend this facility for oil changes. They have other mechanical services there but I have yet to use them.

The guys here are extremely genuine and actually help people. Ive been here twice now and not once have I felt like they were trying to rip me off to make me spend more money than I needed too. Quite the opposite. Everywhere he could Peers was trying to save me money while still providing me with the best maintenance he could offer. They have definitely earned me loyalty after two visits, and if you live near the Plano area (or even if you dont) you should be taking your business there. They will take care of you.

I’m always Skeptical about going to get my car checked out because I feel like I will be over charged. Went in to get my car checked out after it was screeching. They checked it out found nothing was wrong just was water from the rain on my belt. Inspected everything showed me my air filters which were terrible and changed them out for a decent price. Very nice guys. Definitely coming back.

They got me in quickly. Told me to park my car and they would take care of everything else. When they were done my car was pulled up and my door open for me. Great customer service. I went in today and they were telling me all these things I neeed to change. Little did they know I have 2 Mechanics in my family. One who had recently changed all four breaks. They told me my breaks were at 5% and needed to be changed immediately. When I was leaving I told him that they were just replaced and he looked at them with me and said it was his mistake and they are fine. Im sad to say I wont be going back. Its so hard to find an honest mechanic. Im so glad I have my brother and father in law to always double check what these people are saying. 😩

I have been taking my cars to this SpeeDee Lube for about 10 years for oil changes and helping to solve other maintenance issues. They never over pressure with any sales tactics (NICE!), but just pass on maintenance suggestions based on needs. I now use them as my primary source when my cars need to be looked at for minor and major issues. I would also say that they have gone above and beyond on several occasions.

Best mechanics I have encountered by far. Fast, efficient, and their customer service is excellent. They are more concerned about the customers wants and needs rather then racking up charges like firestone. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Ask for Peers and you wont go wrong!

Called asked for simple oil change price was told $35.99 own a small car nothing fancy decided it’s a fair price, once there the guy who speaks with an accent told me it’s better to put synthetic oil instead of conventional I told him no I just want conventional oil no one ever in the past told me that that I HAVE TOO, any ways he proceeds to drain the old oil and comes back with the cap that covers the oil pan to show me that it says synthetic recommended and forced me to buy $59.99 package which he should have asked before he drained the old oil not only that he added another $5 for filter now it’s $64.99 plus $3 disposable fee (which I understand is a standard fee with every oil change) plus talks me into buying a air filter for $25 which I later realized I shouldn’t have agreed too my fault but to make a long story short it was $88 by the time I left, I felt so cheated by this Con man who lied and intimidated me into spending $88 instead of maybe $43 with taxes included. Horrible rip off along with Extremely slow service. My hope Karma will get even I might have lost $40 plus but he lost business my faith in that location plus he earned bad Karma coming soon to a theatre near him I hope!!!!!!!!!! My advice find another oil change place.

I had a bad experience with my last oil change, so I decided to give this shop a try. It turned out to be a smart decision. I also asked them to inspect the car. They had me in and out in about 15 minutes and it cost less than the last shop. The service tech took time out to explain the new procedure for registration/inspection in Texas. Great service from Moe. Took care of my oil change, vacuumed floors, topped fluids and ensured tire pressure was up to par including putting a tire air cap on my tire that was missing one. Top notch, and I was glad to see they use real Mobil1 out of containers and not a big beige vat like some places.

Had a recent issue with my suspension on my Lexus LS430. Shopped around for quotes and theirs was the lowest. I had to repeat myself to ensure they understood my issue and they understood, I wasnt sure because everyone else wanted to charge me out the wazoo. Nevertheless, they fixed it and they earned my trust and they are my go to facility for both my vehicles!

Went to get an oil change and an inspection. Checked under the hood later that day and the power steering fluid cap was left off and the air filter cover wasnt fastened. It was a miracle that they didnt fall out of the engine compartment. This place has a bunch of amateurs working here.

I went for my 15,000 mile service and they asked type of oil I wanted them to use, I stated that it’s only the 15,000 mile service, not time for a oil change. They insisted that it is required from Toyota. Instead of leaving, I gave in and let them change the oil. When I returned home I checked my maintenance manual, and it confirmed that it is, in fact, only needed every 10,000 mile. I will never go there again, which is sad due to the fact that I like to support businesses close to my home. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I have been going to speedees oil change for about 9+ years. Last time i was there the plano technician didnt inflate my tires. Tires were all down to 24. Within 3 minutes of driving off the lot, turned around and returned just to be told that they did inflate my tires, and it takes 24 hours for the car to re calibrate. While that may true for some cars, its not true for my car. Nor was it true that they inflated the tires. Decided i had to double check all their work at home they did that day. At least they did the rest of the service, just wish they didnt lie to me, and just with they took the moment to fill up the tires when i came back and asked nicely.

I personally went to 3 other shops in the area describing my issue to each of them in detail SpeeDee was the only shop that knew exactly what my issue was. The other shops in the area were trying to overcharge me for the issue without even knowing what the problem was. SpeeDee literally told me what the issue was and had me up and running with in 1 hour saved me hundreds of dollars and a headache. I will never go to any other automobile shop honesty is everything and these guys are honest.

Went to this location for the first time today, after going to another place at Alma & Parker for many years. Let me tell you, these guys at Speedee are WONDERFUL. Ryan and Tim were friendly, professional, funny and FAST. I was out of there in an hour, and the guys completed an engine flush, oil change, drive belt replacement and gasket replacement, plus my car was vacuumed, windows cleaned, tires checked and all other fluids and belts inspected. The customer waiting area is large, clean and bright, stocked with fresh coffee, and they have free wi-fi available. The prices are more than reasonable -- MUCH more reasonable than the place Ive been going for so many years. Speedee has a new loyal customer!!!

I came in here and agreed to do the mobile 1 synthetic oil change. The price said 79.99 and I agreed to do it. After it was finished the total came out to 115.18. I wish they wouldve given me a heads up that the price may rise due to added quarts in my truck. This is by far the most I have ever paid for an oil change and I always got the top of the line oil that places offer. On top of that its pouring outside and when i noticed that my e brake was pushed down and i didnt know how to release it. So i jumped out to ask the worker to help me. He released it and while it was pouring outside, he just holds the truck door open while the inside of my truck is getting poured on. I dont recommend this place for anyone. Last thing, I also came before a guy and the I guess the guy behind me wanted an oil change too, he was doing both of ours at the same time. After 30 mins I asked when will this be ffinished thats when he wrapped it up for me. This place stinks. I thought it was first come first serve.

Man, where do I start. My car has been having a sound as if the wheels were going to come off. I took it to other places who told me to take off my 22s and that wasnt happening. When I tell you, I took it to speedee and the guys over there told me what was wrong and fixed it all in the same day..in three hours to be exact. All I can say is thank u thank u thank u. U all got my car back and in motion. This is the place to go!!!

Back in February, I had an oil change here. What a terrible job they did. My car was leaking oil afterwards. I honestly believe this is because I told them that they technically cannot legally use the photo of someones car without consent. And that they did not have my consent. I noticed that my car was leaking oil like puddles of oil. I contacted them to let them know of my displeasure, and naturally I was not going to take it back especially since they didnt know what the heck they were doing. I took it to take 5 who told me that there is a bolt that they didnt tighten which is the cause for leaking oil. I was told that I was lucky it didnt fall out. I also had them check the cabin filter and was promptly told that that was not set correctly either. All that money for seriously crappy service. I will not take my car to speedee anything again and certainly will not recommend this place to anyone.Instead take your car to take five. They know what theyre doing.

Speedee OIL Insurance will not cover DAMAGES due to negligence.Brought my BMW 335i for a simple oil change. They forgot to pour oil in. Engine is ruined. Their insurance will not cover, my insurance had to pay for it. Owner would not pay for my deductible. People make mistakes, I understand, but someone else beside my insurance and out of pocket deductible, should be paying for this

A cheap oil change cost me $650. After getting an oil change here based on good reviews I had to replace all spark plugs and ignition coil.

Ive been here multiple times in the last two years. Im basically inexperienced with this kind of thing as this is my first car, so in a way I cant blame anyone but myself for naively coming back to this place.The first time was to replace my A/C fan. Bit expensive but it went fine until at the end when they forgot to screw the bolts for the bellypan of my car. The plastic of the pan scrapped against my tire and melted off. Instead of replacing it they zip tied the half-molten pan back on my car and sent me on my way. Lo and behold the zip ties cake undone as the year went by and its scrapping on the ground and on the tires again.The second time, I went into see about a service engine light. I naively assumed it was just an over due oil change so I came back, against my better judgement, to spee dee. They told me that if its a service engine light theyll charge $45 unless I get them to fix the problem. So I figured, No problem! Ill just get it repaired here. Wrong. They come back after a few minutes, tell me that they cant fix it because they basically dont know what it is. They give me a list of three possible problems based on the error code. Charged me for the service and told me to go somewhere else. Basically, theyll charge you $45 for something Autozone or Pepboys would do for free.I see that the manager takes the time to thank positive reviews, and argue with the negative ones. While I think that he has the right to defend whatever is posted about his store, its a bit unorthodox and aggressive for my taste. Whatever he writes in response to this, I stand by my review, and I would advise anyone against bringing their business or their car to Spee Dee.
