Only issue I had was after ordering my parts online with in-store pickup at a store that was not close to me to only get there to find out that they did not have them and had to wait till next day

Incompetent, lazy staff. I had to repeat myself and my phone number 6 times to the SAME person.

Lazy staff lurking around behind the registers. Online orders never ready when I get there. Multiple times have had to stand around and wait for them to go find something that they were too lazy to unpack, or accidentally hid in some back corner.Final straw was when I ordered a gallon of gear oil, showed up and *surprise* they couldnt find it. I said thats fine just let me grab 4 of your 1-qt bottles. Mgr said Thats not fair to us, youre talking about 32oz bottles. Proceeded to argue for several minutes about whether or not 32oz = 1qt. After convincing him, he said he actually cant do a swap like that (BS, Ive done it before at other stores when they dont have a jug of oil I want but they do have qt bottles)I give up, going to Garland 1st Street from now on even though its further from me. My condolences to yalls personal cars if you show the same work ethic/competence when maintaining them.

Don’t buy parts there they will sale u leaking radiator n don’t warranty swap or return it to get my money back scam

They advertise that they price match but when you bring it up they give you lame excuses on why they wont price match. I used to go to the cedar hill location where not only do they price match but also try to beat the competition by a few bucks. The only good thing about this place is that they can get their hands on most of the parts you cant find at autozone and oriellys

Great service! The oil my truck requires is not typically carried in stock. While I would expect any auto parts house to order whatever part I may need, the general attitude & willingness to educate/answer questions leaves a customer with the feeling that this place really encourages/teaches their employees to create a positive atmosphere/experience for the client. (Good job!)

Dont bother going to this location during posted hours of operation, they will be closed and the workers inside will wave you away. Look at other reviews below, hasnt been the first time this happened. Cancelled my order and placed at a location thats more dependable.

You can get almost everything you need for your car here. Theres always something good on sale, from Rain-X to Techron. Theyll test your battery and install new windshield wipers for you, both free. They also have a good perks program for shade tree mechanics.

Tony is a really knowledgeable mechanic and sales person. He explained in technical detail why my cts check engine light is on and whats the fix. He spent a long time talking to me and I appreciated that.

Economically inclined name brand parts

The employees here hardly answer the phone. If you end up wasting your time by going to the store, theyre all huddled up in the back messing around and when you finally get someone to the front, they arent very knowledgeable or even welcoming. There are 3 other auto parts stores on this street, any of them are better. But if you must go to advance Auto parts, go to the one on coit.

Went for pickup of window regulator and motor. Nice place, well organized shelves. Above all, very helpful staff.

I went to the store and bought an oil filter for my truck, I went to the mechanic. So he could change the oil of my truck and install the oil filter. The worker from Advanced auto parts gave me the wrong oil filter. The mechanic installed it but It didnt fit so I called advanced auto parts and told them if I could get an oil filter since they had gaven me the wrong one. He said no because I threw away the box and the receipt. The workers from advanced auto parts need better training and I dont understand why sign up for an account in advanced auto parts if they dont keep track on what you buy from there. I recommend people not to buy from the store if the workers dont even know the specific parts for your car you order, I will never buy from them anymore.

This store has the best group of guys that I have worked with as a non professional customer. I have managed repair shops for years and they treat you the same as a walk in as I was treated as a daily customer in the past.
