Karla is a great hair stylist. She is professional and puts me at ease when cutting and styling my hair.

3 weeks ago I went in for the first time to bleach my hair and get a nice cut and a girl that just started did a nice job so I wanted to go back. I called recently to make an appointment to get it done again and whoever answered the call was extremely rude and hung up on me. Now I have mixed feelings and probly wont go back

They did a wonderful job with my hair! I was nervous since it had been so long but I left with results that were better than expected. I will be returning again and again. My stylist did an amazing job and she was so patient with the process I felt comfortable and not like she had better things to do. I am beyond satisfied!!! Thank you!

Sorry I cant remember her name but she had purple hair. She cut and trimmed my hair nicely. I wanted to have the red taken out and do something different. I was told it would take too long for the hour that they allotted me for. Had I known that, I would have told the head lady when I called for an appointment. So was not particularly happy about that. Not sure Im willing to go back. I did like the thinning and cut though. Which is why I gave 4 stars. Also they were dog friendly 😁

Came in for a hair coloring and trim and got more than expected. Jeanette was friendly, offered great advice, and sent me off more confident in my appearance than I ever have been. Highly recommended, will definitely be back and I hope to get her again

We got in for a walk in pretty quick. Staff was nice but the cut wasnt the greatest. The lady didnt cut it how my son asked and she buzzed straight to the skin behind his ear.

Horrendous experience, never going back!! They have weird staff who fail to communicate vital steps-went for hair coloring, the colorist forgot to wash bleached hair. Very laid back and unprofessional attitude!

My hair color and cut was fantastic, my hair stylist was Dreanna and she did a great job dying my hair a medium brown and gave me a great haircut. I felt very relaxed. All the other stylist were friendly. I will be going back. A great experience!!

I made an appointment for Friday at noon. Got there and 2 girls were working after watching one of them take 2 more guest i asked who my appointment was with, one checked the computer to see who i was scheduled with and said ( oh shes running late) the other spoke up an said she calls 5 minutes before shes suppose to be here so i sat there for 20 minutes waiting before i finally left. No more Fantastic Sams for me!

Walked in needing a haircut, and my stylist did a great job. She was very friendly, and we had a great conversation. Ill go back if Im in the area again and need a haircut.

Love this place. Been coming here for years and they always do my hair well. Cheaper prices for good quality. Usually a wait but worth if for the look. Great advice from the stylists if you ask for thoughts and feedback on your new hair ideas!

Great haircut an service

Came in with a card giving me a free hair cut on my twelfth visit. Was told (after the haircut) that this particular location doesnt honor that card and she can only give me half off of my haircut. The card does not say valid at a certain location or anything. It merely says Fantastic Sams and a box for 11 visits. Plainfield stylists signed off on the cards on previous visits. Instead of honoring the card, or even offering two half off visits, she only offered the one visit or signing off on a new card for a half off of a future visit (paying full price on this one). Neither made for a happy customer experience.She also mentioned that they are a franchise. If I walk into a McDonalds franchise with a coupon for a free Big Mac, I can redeem that at any McDonalds. I should have been able to do that at Fantastic Sams.Haircut was fine - but will not return due to poor customer service with free coupon.

Did not receive a good hair cut. I had to go pay to get another at another salon. I will not go back. People are nice there. Bad hair cut

Went in to get layers blended and came out with more layers and not blended I look and feel like I now have a mullet very displeased as soon as I walked out the door she went on a smoke break makes me wonder if thats why it was rushed. Will never be back here again! You get what you pay for $14 for a hair cut that you could probably do better yourself at home!

Took a picture of the style I wanted and walked away very unhappy. The style I wanted had bangs and I didn’t even get those!!! I didn’t want her to cut on my hair anymore so I just left with what I got which was just basically a trim. Definitely won’t go back there!!

I would recommend Jo she is very kind to customers she did what ever I asked and even braided my hair

Staff was really helpful! I dyed my hair and the color did not turn out right at all, but the hair dresser worked with me in finding a way to get to what i wanted to have without damaging my hair.

My experience was excellent at Fantastic Sams in Plainfield IN. My hair is extremely thick and hard to manage. My stylist gave me the best haircut i have ever had and she even suggested highlights to me. I was so so happy with my service and I plan on letting everyone I know to go to that salon!

I would not go to Katie, seemed to project her personal problems on my head. Didnt care to put care into what she was doing. Left my one of my side burns 2 cm longer than the other along with basically trying to get me out of her chair asap. Its a joke that I even tipped her.

I understand that the holidays are busy and I was a walk in. I wanted a haircut and style. Lori was at the register and said she could take me. I was seated right away, so things started off well. She cut my hair to my specifications, however, after the cut, she tried to enlist another stylist to style my hair since she had someone else coming in, and she didnt think she would have time to blowdry and curl my hair. The stylist that she asked, two stations away was busy and loudly commented, just tell her you cant do it I decided to just pay for the haircut and leave. If you dont have time to finish a job, please dont take on the job. I dont think I will be back.
