I dont know how the store manager is still there. Every since shes been there the store has always been a mess. Shes lazy shes either outside on a break, on the phone, or doing absolutely nothing!! The new employees on the other hand are great!!

I love the Dollar Genera. I just moved to Plainfield from Missouri not too long ago. I am so used to shopping for nearly everything at a Dollar General that I still prefer shopping here. I just wish that Plainfield had a Dollar General Market with the groceries and stuff because then I would definitely be shopping for all my groceries there.

Great customer service

Worst dollar general experience Ive ever had. They had items on the clearance race for 50% off and were still full price. I literally couldve walked out the door with the items I was carrying because of the complication of finding someone to check me out. Just poor service and unorganized.

The lady working cash register was super nice.

We go there alot,things are cheaper like probiotics,I couldnt otherwise get.

Workers NOT were masks! When asked to they did. But another employee behind the counter was not wearing hers. I WILL NOT go back to that Dollar General. I an immune compromised & need to know where Im going is safe.

The staff and employees are great! Sometimes shelves are not stocked but its partly because of a shortage in employees. I love going there when I just need a few hygiene products but i do not suggest getting too many food items. Food items are greatly overpriced.

The register was real slow, she left there register with a 3 person line just to show someone where something was. When she finally got back, the card reader was malfunctioning. Wouldnt recognize my card. Then said my card was out of date. Which it wasnt. Somehow we finally got it working. Here I am with severe back injuries, waiting the whole time . Needless to say I had a terrible experience. At least the person behind the register apologized.

Rude manager. No masks on employees. I don’t expect much from a dollar general but common courtesy and following public safety guidelines should be manageable. Low stock. Dirty store. Needed a couple household items and didn’t want to go to a big box store - left with nothing.

Dollar General has always been a favorite store of mine for the most obvious reason. Price. This location has a friendly familiar to Plainfield staff. The place is always clean and accessible. I highly recommend DG

The ladies are always so friendly and they are extremely helpful in finding anything that I can not find. The only problem is that there is never enough people working so when they are stocking the shelves we have to go in find someone to check us out. Standard Dollar General fare. Store is generally clean and aisle free of yet-to-be or overstocked merchandise. It is easy to shop at this location without the hustle and bustle of the big chain stores just across the street.

Never enough people in there working in the store is always a mess

Day I was there manager on duty was yelling at a staff member door to office by register open everyone in store could hear. Very unprofessional. I havent been back since. I felt sorry for the staff member. Heard they were looking for management, hoping it was to replace the lady that was yelling. I will go back another time to see if its any better.

Very small place with a lot of items and products I shopped there when I can and theres a lot of cheap stuff if youre interested theyre on sale almost every day they have really good things for the use theres cheap stuff and there is really good brands there that you can get on sale nowhere else or at Walmart but sometimes at Walmart its more expensive so Dollar General is way cheaper.

As a chain retailer this place is awesome as an individual store also pretty good well stocked and employees know there store

This location / company is TERRIBLE. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Their customer service is the worst. Secondly, their prices arent even a good deal. If you want somewhere that wont treat you terrible, go on down the street cause you wont find it here.

Very Unprofessional manager was yelling cashier was taking her time to get to the front with a line ask for a recent and was told it didnt work I asked what was I to do if I needed to return something and was told I dont know and then she walked away

Carts in the isles, hard to get by, and hard to get to merchandise, when you have to move carts out of the way.

Shelves were very sparse. Store was very messy, truck delivery day.
