I was excited to see and drive the new Atlas and Tiguan at Pittsfield Volkswagen...and that is where the excitement ended. I purchased the Tiguan at full MSRP. After days of waiting for a cash price on the car, misinformation about the registration requirements and very poor customer service I took delivery Monday. My sales rep did not show me any of the tech features or how to turn on the heat or set the wipers. I struggled in the dark to try to find the defroster and nearly cried when my Apple car play went blank today. When spending $40K on a car---could someone at least try to pretend I matter?Debra Blackwell

I went there to have thermostat and water pump replaced. They put the thermos that in wrong which caused my antifreeze to keep leaking out. I brought it back there to have them fix it and they will fix it however they leave you without a car for the day. Absolutely would not recommend this place unless you absolutely have to go there. Thats with any mechanics theyre crooks

Had my car in for a checkup before we go on a long trip next week. They checked everything, topped off all the fluids etc. All that for less than $25. When I got into car I noticed they had vacuumed the interior, wiped down my dashboard and washed the exterior. 👍

Not a fan of this place. I need to find another dealership. Theyre just SO slow. I dont understand why things with the service dept take so long.Brought the car down at 8 to get the fan controller replaced and I didnt get the car back till 12. 4 hours to do a quoted 2 hour job...and then it was a fight to have the warranty cover the work.Yay... German engineering :-/

Tim Conroy not only was he courtesy but he helped me out tremendously and fast !! I cant thank him or the staff at the Pittsfield location .

I have a 2018 Tiguan under warranty. I have complained about the brakes since 4000 miles. I now have 14,000. The brakes got so bad I had no choice but to replace them. It was $850 for parts and over $500 for installation. Total= over $1350. And they didn’t have all the parts.Same day I had my brakes fixed with lifetime pads for $866 from another vender. Savings = over $500. That’s a lot!!!!!I also was shocked they charged over $100 for first service check when it is free from Toyota and many others.I guess it’s the little things that differentiate dealerships. Know these things before you buy here.

Three weeks ago, I bought a 2018 Audi Q5 from Carvana. Although the car is in great condition, the amount of work I had to do to buy it would prevent me from this route again.After I bought the car, I went to Flynn Volkswagen and Audi in Pittsfield to order the codes to enable the Audi Connect multimedia system. I met a very nice salesman named Patrick Connor. Even though I didnt buy the car there, he said he would help me through the very technical process. He not only established my Audi Connect account, he sat in my car and loaded in all the necessary settings to make the navigation and bluetooth hands-free phone system operable. We reviewed each step to ensure my understanding. When I was leaving, he gave me his card and told me to contact him if I needed additional help.Should I buy another Audi in the future, or know someone who might be, I would not hesitate to work exclusively with Patrick.

I bought a VW bug from Flynn VW. I Love my car!It recently broke down at a gas station in town with my elderly client in the car. I also had an early morning flight to catch the following morning. Ugh! I had it towed to Flynn VW fearing the worst but an hr later we were fixed and on our way. I am So happy and grateful that I bought my vehicle from such a wonderful consiensous dealership. I purchased a brand new 2009 Rabbit from here around March, 2010 with VIN: WVWBB71KX9W033223. The car was built in 2008, and was over two years old when it was sold new.The first 30 minutes I drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on.When I called and informed the dealership of this, their first response was to check the gas cap. Since they filled the tank, the only way it could have been the gas cap, was if they screwed the cap on wrong. I brought it in, they attempted to fix the problem, and the light came back on again shortly after.The dealer then blamed the problem on bad gasoline when I only went to Shell and Sunoco, and they told me to run mid-grade or high test to fix the problem. I ran mid-grade and high test through, the light still came back on, so I switched back to regular.I ultimately had to return seven times in 20,000 miles to have the same issue repeatedly fixed on this every 2,000-3,000 miles on average. I would need to wait for the vehicle to be fixed each time, wasting half a vacation day or more of my time every time it was dragged in for repeat repairs.Finally, for the seventh time, I brought the vehicle in to this dealership for the last time. While I was there, I waited 3/4 of a day, only to not have it fixed. Id pre-arranged weeks ago with the service department and the body shop to have it serviced, and to have the body shop install foam that was supposed to go inside the door, and prevent water from freezing and damaging the door.The door was damaged over the winter, and VWoA, and this dealership couldnt be bothered to let customers know this was an issue. I paid to have the door that had curled up like a piece of paper fixed at an independent body shop, having no idea that VW was silently fixing this issue for free, but never informed their customers. This cost me money, and was a issue the dealer was fully aware of, and was informed by VW via a TSB as early as 2007, years before I purchased the vehicle. This should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold. Not fixing this was negligence on their part.The car sat in the dealerships lot with the headlights on for a majority of the day, only to find out that the body shop wasnt told the car was there - even though I made very sure to ask at the service desk that morning to let someone from the body shop know that the car needed to go in for work when they were done with it.Then, before I left, they had the audacity to charge me for a $5 license plate bulb that apparently had burned out in just under a year of owning this. Youd think that for keeping me there 3/4 of a day and not doing what they were supposed to do, they could have just eaten the $5.This car should have been marked as a lemon and repurchased. However, after going through hell with this, along with poor service, they lost a customer, when I got rid of this car elsewhere, just over a year of owning this at a massive $10,000 loss while in warranty with its continuing engine, electrical, and build quality issues that existed from day one, with no end in sight to the constant repairs.It should have been a hint when VWoA dropped the warranty on this car year over year from 4/50 to 3/36 - likely due to soaring claims. What good is a warranty on a car you have to drag in every 2,000-3,000 miles to be constantly fixed? Worthless.The service rep did tell me previously that if the MIL continued to come on for the same issue out of warranty, I would be responsible for paying to have it fixed each time, despite the fact that this was an issue for engine problems from the day I drove it off the lot, and was never fixed. Thats just poor warranty interpretation.Calls to VW at the time were no help, as many before me have discovered. All they were able to say was sorry, we cant help you. Years later, they offered me $750 off a brand new VW, which I felt was a slap in the face. Any other car company would have offered buyback.Forget committing to excellence. Id settle for having you and VW making this right.
