Could not be happier about my decision to visit this particular location. I was previously told during a routing inspection that I needed one of my tires replaced. I went to Monro as I trust them overall, and my loyalty was rewarded. They put my car on the lift and inspected not only the alleged bad tire but the other 3 as well. The diagnosis? There was nothing wrong with any of the tires, I did NOT need a new tire, and the inspection was complimentary. I was thrilled! Perhaps I am jaded, but it is unusual these days for find an HONEST auto shop. I will absolutely be returning, and recommend this location of Monro to all!

I was able to sign up for a state inspection appointment online. The appointment was verified by the shop. Then when I came in I was curtly told we dont do state inspections here. Why was it an option to sign up for the appointment online? Why would the shop verify the appointment if they couldnt do the work?

My wife and I bring all three of our cars here for all service needs (including to help correct mistakes made at the dealership).Very knowledgeable staff who are happy to explain problems and show you what needs to be fixed- so you don’t have to take their word for it. They have done courtesy inspections free of cost when I have a concern. I would look no further for a shop with a nice local feel.

Ive been going to Monro for a couple years now, usually just for an oil change ($20) and Im always greeted in a friendly manner which I appreciate. I also like this location because they quickly look over the car for anything faulty in the short amount of time it takes for oil change. Quick, efficient, friendly.... Good service 👍

We have used this place a few times because it is right down the road but never again after today. On Monday, I made an appointment online for Thursday at 8AM to have my muffler replaced and an oil change. I received a phone call and an email confirming my appointment. Thursday morning, I showed up at 7:55AM and they have no record of my appointment but that was okay because they had an open day. Okay, I thought, good! We got a call later that morning that they couldnt get the muffler for 3 days and it would cost $268 for the part plus about 3+ hours of labor (another $100+). They also stated that they called around to every parts store in a 90 mile radius but not one store had it. We did a little research and found the exact muffler that we need for my car in not one but THREE local car parts stores. AND the garage a few miles further can replace it (Parts AND labor) for $160. Not cool, Monro. They also told me that my oil pan was dangerously scuffed up and really needed to be replaced, I must have run over something at some point that damaged it. That might be true, I did just drive cross country and who know what may have happened. Now, I am not a licensed mechanic but I know enough about cars and life in general to know what the difference between scuffed and not scuffed is. There are a couple of little dings from stones being tossed around under the car but there is not a single scuff on it and it is not compromised in any way.

These guys rock! Phillip is friendly and knowledgeable and the workers are quick and courteous. They had me in and out in no time! Highly reccomend.

Made an appointment for 4:30, as soon as I arrived they were able to get my vehicle in and change the oil. Quick service from some really wonderful employees! Cody helped me find an option and price that fit my budget, and truly made the experience awesome!

Walked in and had my brakes and tires done on my front end. Great team got me out in an hour and a half.

We experienced significant car electrical issues on Friday night, and Monro was able to get us in on Saturday morning. Their staff quickly identified that the belt needed to be replaced, and made sure everything else is working as it should. They were courteous and thorough!

Billy gave excellent service. I had a nail in my tire, and last minute after work, an hour before they closed, they were able to patch it for me. 5 stars, would definitely recommend. So thankful for the great attitudes and the fact that they were so accommodating!

Always trying to scam you into unnecessary work! Had brakes done 3 days before we went to have our oil changed and they told us our brakes needed to be replaced because they were worn to the point of being unsafe! Needless to say, we found someone honest to do our work from that point!

Awesome service, was in and out very quickly for an oil change. They let me know about a broken part on my car, no pressure to fix it, honest prices. I was very happy about how quick they did the oil change since I actually live pretty far away and was in the middle of traveling!

I had an appointment for 9:30 and arrived early,Phil took my appointment as soon as I arrived, I explained to him what was going on with my car, he took it for a test drive couldnt hear the noise, I was told my axel needed to be replaced and again he couldnt find anything wrong, he explained to me that he didnt feel comfortable putting parts in my car if I didnt need them, I am sure if I took my car someplace else they wouldnt have done what Phil did, Phil noticed my air filter cabin wasnt put on all the way and he fixed that as well, Phil was pleasant to deal with and listened to my concerns without interruption which doesnt happen often when I take my car someplace else, I recommend this location if Phil is working, he takes the time to listen to your concerns and is honest with you, Thanks Phil for excellent exceptional service!

We were faced with an unexpected car emergency situation to get our daughter back home to CT. AAA towed her with her car to Cody at Monro in Pittsfield. He fixed her car and got her back on the road so she could get home safely on a late Saturday afternoon before they closed at 6pm. We cant thank him enough for his kindness, expertise, and humanity to do this for us. We are grateful there are ethical and good people like Cody at a time when you need them. Manager on duty Cody or Corey? Amazing, extremely helpful and never made me question the service I was getting. Im from out of town and visiting family and had major concerns with my brakes (grinding). Although one of the techs, shorter guy with glasses I think Mike? was clearly giving him a hard time and then stormed off in his vehicle recklessly, the managers customer service never varied from that of excellence. Made sure to apologize for the behavior of his tech and personally made sure the vehicle before me and mine were 110% safe and ready to hit the road. Ive had bad experiences before with monro so I was apprehensive to give them another try, but when no one else in town would help me out they got me right in even though it was clear that staffing was a little short and they had every bay full. Manager made sure every customer was addressed properly and he was extremely personable and upbeat. Thanks for such a speedy repair and ensuring it was done right the first time. Youve got yourself a long time customer now.

Cody and his crew were great! I called the night before to confirm an appointment and was able to easily lock one down for early AM. They got me in quick and I was out of there within a half an hour! The guys even gave me the coupon before I asked for it! I will be back for my next synthetic oil change!

Our vehicle recently had a terrible noise. The Monroe team said we could come in immediately. They inspected our car as soon as we came in, and diagnosed and fixed the problem within minutes; all for an incredibly reasonable price. Thats what we call excellent customer service!

Brought three trucks in. 2 for new tires and alignments and one for an alignment. My personal truck went in last. After a half day my truck came off the rack. I waited another 40 min waiting for the guy to tell me they couldnt do my alignment. Said his machine was too old. I got in the truck and my steering wheel was at 2:00 and the front end had a wobble. I have a friend that works at a shop in fort Edward ny. I brought it up to him. His alignment guy said the last guy tried to adjust my alignment by loosening bolts. My wheels were so far off my sensors didnt align anymore and my lights on my dash and my check engine light were on. After 30 minutes the other guy came in, handed me a report on my alignment, and said I was all set. Now what I get out of our machine is too old was our mechanic has no idea what he is doing so he guessed, made it worse, and didnt charge you for it. Sorry guys...you are a great example of why tires shops get a bad reputation.

Very friendly and courteous. Went out of their way to get fasteners that they didnt have at the shop to install a part. And were very apologetic for taking longer than expected. Great people and very helpful!!!
