I was a good customer of city tire. Not anymore. Last 2 times there was very disappointing. The first of the 2 was a oil change. The employee could not locate the oil dipstick to check the level. I’m no mechanic and I found it in about 3 seconds. The last visit was a tire change over. Arrived at 9am and sat there till almost noon. It seems that no one there has a clue. They couldn’t even put the correct air pressure in. They attempted to fix the air pressure again and it was still wrong. They basically slammed the garage door in my face and I was left to fix it on my own. They also damaged the the side of my car when jacking it. I have been a regular customer there and was treated like garbage

Don’t get an alignment done here. The tech Jordan has no idea what he’s doing. After two attempts to make my vehicle drive straight it still pulled very hard to the right. Said it’s the best he can do. He left my lower control arm loose which caused damage to my vehicle.Go to Bill’s Front End on wahconah street and save yourself the $80. Bill said he couldn’t even tell my vehicle had been aligned because it was so far out. The giveaway was parts being left loose by a lazy tech.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. These guys are FAIR and HONEST and go above and beyond every time!! With so many garages trying to make all their money on that one job these guys show time and again they are more focused on gaining lifetime customers!

Beware: If you go here to buy new tires or swap out snow tires, be prepared for the employees to take your old tires without asking (or even being courteous enough to let you know). Ive had to drive all the way back on two separate occasions because of this. Never going here again.

Super nice guys there! They do not try to over sell you. Ther are down to earth and helped an elderly lady open the door... how sweet! Told her they would not fix her car because it would do more damage to remove the old parts. Now thats honesty!

Fast, friendly service at low prices. I needed front brake pads and rotors, ball joints, and a repair to a leaking transmission pan gasket and it was completed for about $200 below the quoted price and more than $500 below what a local dealer was going to charge me for the same 3 jobs. Would definitely recommend.

City Tire is my favorite auto shop in Pittsfield. Best customer service Ive ever had, never feel like theyre trying to put one over on you. Mistakes happen anywhere, but these guys put the customer first and fix any errors quickly and free. Local management knows how to treat people, which is why they hold onto their customers.

My cars brakes sprung a leak in the back so I had it towed over to City Tire. Got new brakes and they found and fixed a problem Id been having with the ABS since I purchased the car from Haddads 6 years ago that Id been blaming on the model of car. Nope, turns out Haddads sold it to me defective. These guys are lifesavers -now my car stops in Winter like it should! Highly recommend them to others now!
