Wow. Incredible service at AutoZone in Pittsfield. My windshield wiper (that I had recently purchased from another AutoZone) broke during a heavy rainstorm. I swung by this AutoZone where the store manager, Dave, replaced it under warranty. He even ran out in the rain and installed it. Thanks for the assistance!

I overheard a conversation between the staff and a costumer over the phone while I was waiting in line to be waited on. He was patient and kind to the customer and gave him all the information he needed before hanging up. Then he smile and asked what he could do for me. Very kind, very professional. More people should be that way.

Store was very clean and seemed well organized! The couple associates that were there did amazing! Able to answer my questions quickly and pointed me to the correct direction for what I was looking for! However keep in mind I am NO mechanic and know very little about engines, so its not hard for someone to be more knowledgeable than me!

There is a program where you return used batteries and get a $10.00 gift card for each. I had 8 batteries sitting around! Returning them is going to help ofset the cost of the new battery i need for my truck. Great deal!

Usually they tell me that the parts will be in the next day, and they show up a week later. Or they just dont call and they sit there which you think someone would say Whats this here for?. Recently the parts show up late, but within a day. Noticed a change of staff which may account for the better service. Ill keep giving them a shot.

Quick Speedy service I had my check engine light on / maintenance reminder light and my car was just overdue for oil change but they scan that and did all for free and they added in a new light bulb because my other front headlight burnt out very nice my go-to place for the car parts

Did have my parts in stock and my truck needed a new battery and they tested said it was good took advance Auto and they told it had a bad cell in it Im ct the AutoZone is better wont use them in Massachusetts

Had an accident in the same parking lot as the Pittsfield AutoZone is located. The bumper was dragging against the ground and the cop said my choices were to pull it off, or have the car towed. The AutoZone manager, Dave, spent 20 minutes securing my bumper with zip-ties without accepting anything in return. The car made it home with no problem, and its still holding strong as I write this. Im truly grateful for the kindness shown to me, and will definitely shop there in the future, and recommend them to others. Outgoing, friendly, attitude by the whole team.

I went in with no knowledge of what I really needed. I know nothing about cares and it was going to be a gift for my husband who shops there frequently. The man at the front counter was very helpful & understanding thankfully. He looked up my husbands information for me and knew just how to direct me to what I needed.

Shane the manager was the kindest and most helpful man I have ever met. He educated us on batteries, alternators, power steering fluid, and so much more. he also helped us get the best battery for the lowest price. I will definitely be recommending this specific Auto Zone to all of my people in the future and I will be coming here for all of my car needs!!

The team at this store is amazing! They’ve all been so incredible, and sympathetic, and accommodating! In only a couple weeks I’ve spent almost $1000 to fix my 2006 Ford Escape, and without them I don’t know what I’d have done. The most recent purchase was an entire driveshaft, which store manager, Shane, generously offered to deliver himself since it’s too big to fit in the car I’m driving now. Parts manager Bobby, and another Bobby have also been so helpful! And Nate, who helped me out upon my first visit to this store. All around amazing experiences that keep me going back!

Dave Valentine is absolutely the best. Any time I have a need for any help, he is always right there. Ive gone there with both of my vehicles and hes helped with both. Tonight he replaced my head light in my Traverse. It is a pain to do, like through the wheel well and he smiled the whole time.Nate is also fantastic. He was incredibly helpful when I needed a new battery and it is located inside the car behind the front passenger seat in the floor!! He was great. Not only did the man help me find what I needed he also came out and changed my windshield wiper for me!

Tech helped me find the right battery when I needed a change, and then helped me figure out I had a starter issue not a battery issue and got me set up with a mechanic to get it fixed, wonderful service and parts availability!

Shane and his team at store 6451 provide unparalleled customer service. During a recent freezing rain followed by snow and extreme cold, suddenly my blower fan stopped turning on at any speed. Knowing the weather was only going to get worse I went immediately to store 6451. I like to joke with them that I pay the rent there as I buy so much there. Shane’s team including Bobby that night tirelessly supported me in troubleshooting them problem in the cold. Had it not been so late in the evening I am confident we would have identified the problem. I finally had to tell Bobby, “let’s call it a day, it’s almost closing time”. We agreed to re-engage the next day. The next day I went in and Bobby explained to Shane what we had done so far (resistor, fuse, relay) and what the results were. Shane immediately said, “let’s get the blower motor out and bench test it”. The blower motor was removed, brought in and hooked to a battery. It didn’t move, fried. By the time I left store 6451, I had a working blower installed and therefore heat once again when it was 12 degrees outside. Shane is a rarity in these days. He is incredibly knowledgeable, totally focused on customer satisfaction, and completely willing, even eager to “get his hand dirty” all while being the owner/operator and needing to ensure inventory and store operations go smoothly. I am there so often and have worked with so many of his team that I can confidently say that through his leadership he instilling all those great qualities into every member of his team. They treat me like family and I’ve never had that at any other store. The whole team is truly deserving of praise for what they tirelessly do every day.

Nate at store 6451 helped me with a new battery for my truck. He spent extra time in making sure I purchased the right sized battery and also did a great job with the install. He took extra care in making sure removal and installation went smoothly. Great service and attitude which are both greatly appreciated!

Shane was absolutely amazing. My boss and I had a really hard time getting our spark plug to thread even after trying to tap the shaft seriously unsuccessfully. Then a Pittsfield Fire Fighter KR randomly stopped to help me jump my car and suggested I get a new battery at Auto Zone after realizing I had a long trip. Dave at the store was beyond helpful. These guys were amazing helped me out tested my battery and alternator to make sure it was my battery gave me all different price battery options and installed it for me cleaned up the corrosion and made sure to show me what they did! I had such a positive experience at this AutoZone. I walked into the store befuddled and confused regarding a headlight replacement. Autos are not my forte, but Shane the manager came to the rescue. He double checked to make sure I purchased the correct replacement bulb. When I described my previous frustration with the task, Shane strapped on a pair of gloves and helped me complete the job under the blaring sun of the 85 degree day. Went in to see if they carried windshield screens because I was tired of burning my hands on the steering wheel. Instead of just pointing me to an aisle, the sales associate brought me to the screens and helped me get the right one for my car. Wish I had gotten his name to publicly thank him for his help.

After dissatisfaction from Ford dealer where service manager was not interested in helping at all (asked me to leave my car for a week), I went to Autozone for my battery issue. They checked my battery and confirmed that battery is at end of life. I baught new battery with good support from employee they had hard time to get factory installed battery due to corroded terminal. Shane (owner) worked on it and after using few chemicals to clean he installed new battery. My car was up and running in half an hour. Thanks for wonderful work.

So I went in, in a very big rush (I accepted an order on door dash for friendlys figuring they wouldnt know bc it was across the street [it was my second day dashing and didnt realize they track your location]) and Shane Daoust was AMAZING helping me get in and out very quickly knowing I had to run... he was also very knowledgeable about my parts I was buying and the correct way to put them on and how long they should last and what was needed to help the process putting them on easier. Very very friendly and nice man. Very quick fast easy, was in and out with everything I needed to know about my purchase. I was very impressed with his professionalism and how eager he was to help (He must love his job, bc hes great at it) I will definitely continue to go here instead of the other auto part stores where they can be rude and they rush you.Oh and not to mention they have the best prices around and the parts I have bought yesterday and in the past (from Bobby, he is also GREAT and very HELPFUL!) Any time you come into an auto part store youre probably not having the best day because something is wrong with your vehicle. Every time I come into this store the guys are always knowledgeable and helpful. Big shout out to Bobby for going above and beyond to find the part I needed to get my brake job done. There are a lot of places to go for auto parts in Pittsfield but this should be your first stop.

Not great, slightly below average. Busy store with lots of free parking. Prices are generally on the higher side. I had a 25.00 gift card & a 5.00 off coupon. The cashier guy assured me that he deducted the card & coupon. Went home, checked my receipt - he lied. He did NOT deduct the 5.00 off. Bummer. Items on sale were a nice bargain ( 1.00 for motor oil) but regular prices more than the average retail store. 5.99 for a regular size can of WD-40? cmon. I would not recommend unless you have a gift card like we had.
