Great store. Around 100 different vendors with a wide variety of gift items, many of which are hand crafted by local artists and crafters. There are so many one of a kind items made by hand, ranging from paintings to hand crafted jewelry to crochet to a lamp made of antlers and beer bottles. Locally crafted soaps, artistic maps of local neighborhoods, and so much more.Dont let the plain exterior fool you. This is a store with amazing gifts for friends and family, or even for yourself.Its on Penn Avenue, just off the 31st St. Bridge. Free parking available in the lot.**Full disclosure, I liked it so much that I recently got my wife a booth there for her hand crafted crochet animals (included among the photos).

This place is so unique! One of my favorite spots on the strip. The gentleman working was so kind and helpful and even guided us to other local spots and food joints. I believe over 80 vendors have their items in this spot so there is something unique for everyone. Very beautifully hand crafted cups, jewelry, wreaths and so much more. There are extra rooms with even more stuff to see tucked away. Would be great for holiday shopping or if you just want to find something unique. Pleasant experience I hope to see this business thrive and expand!

Absolutely love Steel City Craft Emporium!! So many creative and wonderfully talented crafters there. I love seeing all the creations and great gift ideas, that you wont find at your typical big businesses. Highly recommend checking them out.

Cool place, lots of different vendors, some of the crafts are less impressive than others but there are some good finds in here. Really love the candles from Oakmont Candle Works

I saw an ad on Facebook for this store and was surprised that I had never heard of it before. I went down to check it out with the idea of becoming a pop-up vendor for one of their events. When I got there it was much bigger inside than I anticipated, with 80-90 vendors. I like that it was spacious with extra rooms to be found off to the side. Theres a good variety of goods with some really talented crafters and artists. It was a weekend and I got to meet the owner that first visit and learned of his support for things like animal support groups (Paws Across Pittsburgh), kids in the arts, and women in general. I noticed that he greeted every customer and asked them if it was their first time, and where they heard of his shop...and then he left them alone to shop. This was all so appealing to me that I became a vendor there myself. I am rating my experience with Steel City Craft Emporium from that first visit as a customer, although my rating as a now associated vendor would also be five stars!

Nice idea but the location was not within walking distance from the strip.It did have free parking.

Very welcoming staff

I had a poor experience here as a vendor for a pop up event. The owner gave away my spot and didn’t inform me of this. I found out the morning of the event and had to scramble to find different ways to display my merchandise.There were very few people who attended the event and I made zero sales. This was a trial in my eyes for coming in as a full time vendor but after this experience I won’t move forward with that.

Great new shop providing makers like me with an outlet for products and giving shoppers a new option in town for locally made products! Highly recommend (and not just because I have a booth there 😏) 👍
