I was not looking forward to the car buying process and expected it to be rather stressful but North Hills Toyota made the process easy and I felt relieved driving away in my new car knowing I got a good deal. Ron was upfront with me from the start, he didn’t try to haggle me into looking at other cars or pressure me into buying when I wasn’t quite ready. Also didn’t try to push me early on to do a credit check. For the car I was trading in I got above what my Kelley Blue Book quote was. The banker was able to get me a loan with an incredibly low interest rate due to my military status. Being a young female I’ve had the unfortunate experiences of walking into dealerships and being met with a lot of assumptions but I didn’t not get that feeling at all at North Hills Toyota. It was overall a great experience, i didn’t have any regrets waking up the next morning with my new car. I would certainly trust North Hills Toyota and Ron when buying a car.

My experience was very good. They were straightforward and honest. The price and delivery date were exactly as they said. There was not a hard sell on any of the post-purchase options.

This by far was the best experience weve had purchasing a vehicle. From the initial phone call—through driving off the lot. We visited another Toyota dealer in the area and frankly were not treated with the same courtesy and respect that we were at North Hills Toyota. All of the staff that we came in contact with were extremely friendly. I worked with Melissa on my purchase. They did not have the Sequoia I wanted on the lot, but were able to find one in the color and trim level I wanted and secured it quickly. Melissa kept me informed every step of the way, and was very responsive. Bob in Financing was great to deal with as well. We had such a friendly, positive experience there that my wife is thinking of leasing a 4Runner when her Jeep lease is up.

Routine scheduled maintenance Monday, September 20; oil change, tire rotation, fluids. All good except Mechanics in advertently bent the backing plates which cover the brake rotors. Accidents happen. ReturnedTuesday September 28 to repair the backing plates. All fixed, no charge, but cost me $225 in lost wages to return to have the backing plate repaired. Now how can North Hills Toyota make this right? Waiting………..

Drove an hour from Ohio to check out, Stock #: T21673A, a 2013 Pearl white Sequoia with brick leather interior for a friend in Wyoming. The body looked great. Most of interior looked good. Front seats, especially passenger, with a lot of wear at the edge of the seat. Not shown in stock pictures. Also, all 4 rims are covered with white paint (?) and then varnished. Very sloppy job and, again, not shown online. Posted photo on website.I had missed the salesperson working with my WY friends. Another person came out to the vehicle, without grabbing the keys for the Sequoia. He then complained about the wind (high wind warning) which was not a problem for me. Upon his return to the vehicle, he overheard me reporting my observations over my mobile to my Wyoming friends and that, in my opinion, I’d ask them to take off 10k, considering the history of an accident and the sloppy patchwork. All of a sudden he slammed the door, and grumbled something about $10,000. None of his business. “You don’t have to buy it, lady”. Rude and a bit of a pansy, again, in my opinion, since he really didn’t want to be bothered to work with a bit of wind and a few raindrops.Had hoped to drive this back for the Rodriguez’ and share that Pittsburgh hospitality!

My husband and I have been to this Toyota location several times for various vehicle services, primarily routine maintenance on our Highlander. Most recently, we had what appeared to be a nail imbedded in one of our tires. My husband made an appointment and took the truck in so the techs could check the tire. Thankfully, it was not a big issue, as the tire was not punctured. He was helped this time around by Jonathan Mansfield, who was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Customer service is obviously stressed at this location, as we have had other very positive experiences with other staff members, which we truly appreciate. We would highly recommend this location to others.

Do not trust the Service Department, no not expect communication from Customer Relations. May 4: Took my Scion for 95K service, was given oil change/tire rotation/cabin filter change--not the service I requested. May 20: Blower motor failure (they claim this wasnt evident when they changed the filter). They also noted brakes were paper-thin and brake fluid long overdue for a change. Both brake condition and brake fluid were rated satisfactory on May 4. Basically, they sent me out on the road for 16 days with no brakes! May 22: Emailed Charvette Anderson in Customer Relations twice--both bounced. So I composed and mailed her a letter outlining my problems. May 26: After 15 miles, brakes made a loud noise and began to grind. Called Service to pick it up as Im terrified to drive it, given their disregard of previous brake condition. They offered to do so but never responded with a date. Also, Ms Anderson called at 4:57pm wanting to set up a conference call without asking if it was convenient--it wasnt, so I suggested she read my letter and call me afterward. She also admitted to having turned off her email capability. June 2: Emailed Ms Anderson twice, both bounced. June 4: Drove Scion in for brake check, both were loose and were adjusted. June 9: Wrote to GM Duane Guthrie with copy to Toyota Headquarters in TX. June 11: Ms Anderson called at 4:48pm to say that shed received my May 26 letter, my phone call and my emails. Except I never called her and every email I sent bounced back as undeliverable. Not only is their service subpar and life-threatening, but their Customer Relations person lies. Ill never return and I suggest others stay away.

Customer care and service is superb in Toyota North Hills. I was met by Jennifer Yeager as I walked in and in no time I was test driving the car. Although I wanted the car, but it took me few days to decide as I went to multiple dealers. I was comparing pricing and customer care. I also asked friends and friends of friends who own Toyota about their experience. I went back to Toyota North Hills as it checked all marks.

Melissa Kraft was very helpful and easy to work with. I was having a great deal of trouble finding a 2021 Tacoma with a 6 bed at any dealership. I found one at North hills Toyota(more than 80 miles from my home)and inquired via email. Mellissa and I corresponded several times on a Saturday and Sunday while the dealership was closed and I met her Monday morning to complete the deal. Very satisfied with the entire buying experience.

Purchase was easy...but dont expect good customer service on repairs/warranty items.We bought a 2018 Toyota sienna that was missing a key fob, a couple bumper clips, and 2 head rests. We were told to just stop back in and pick them up. They finally reached back out a month later and asked us to leave the car for the full day to program the key and do the bumper clips. In the meantime we also discovered a back seat belt wouldnt clip in so asked that to be looked at. Dropped it off the night before the service appointment. At 5pm the next day they told us only some of the repairs had been done and they ran out of time to look at the seatbelt. So they said just bring it back in...even though its an hour round trip with 4 kids. Very disappointing customer service and huge waste of time.
