Ice 9 was incredible and the flash tattoos that I got from Jamie were beautiful! The energy was really light and I got to have some fun convos with Paul and the other customers :) will definitely coming back soon!!

Got my first tattoo done here in October 2017, still looks great! In and out in about 2 hours, didnt cost that much, quality work, and the artist was friendly and helpful. Couldnt ask for a better experience. Will definitely be coming back once I figure out what I want next!

I started going to Steve Justice for tattoos when I was 16. I never stopped!! My husband and my mom now see him too. He is super friendly, funny, professional, and flexible. He makes you feel comfortable and confident. The shop is clean and beautiful and all of the artists are talented and personable. I would never recommend anyone ever go anywhere else for a tattoo—I even drive two hours for ink now that I moved away! They don’t have a piercer but there’s tons of piercing parlors on the south side. Here are some of my tattoos, my moms tattoos, and my husband’s tattoos done by him. (The butterfly in the below picture overlapping a Rose was not done by Steve. The Rose is part of a coverup for that butterfly.)

Clean comfortable studio right on Carson Street near the SouthSide Works. I could feel good energy when I first walked in.I can only speak to Rachels tattoos, but I would certainly go back for another one -- in fact, I have and am planning yet one more before I move from Pittsburgh. Her focus on giving great tattoos does not only pertain to the artwork but also was one of the best personalities. She did a wonderful job fixing up a rookie friends stick-n-poke dot-bracelet and helped me design three more bracelets... I am so happy; it all looks really great together.From what I can see, the other artists are all of a better echelon from what I could witness as well as from the other reviews I have read.

The best fine line tattoo shop in Pittsburgh. Stumbled across Rachel through a personal friend recommendation, and couldnt be happier. Had a very specific tattoo in mind, and she made it happen for a very reasonable price at an awesome shop. Props. Will be back here if I ever get more, which will happen no doubt.

This place is great. I go here for my piercings. I would recommend Zack for anything if you want anything pierced hes the best person to see. He genuinely cares about his clients and makes sure they understand post care. He also makes sure the Piercing takes properly. I would tell anyone to see him.

Mihailo is the guy that does all of my art work when I go there, but everyone there is great. Ive never left there disappointed. The best in the city. I only get my ink here and I dont even live in Pittsburgh anymore. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

I have gotten 3 out of my 4 tattoos here and the service and work is unparalleled. The artists are extremely extroverted and dont pressure you to make decisions. They want you to be happy with what you want. I highly recommend this shop to all my friends.

Beautiful shop! Its funky and fun inside, and the staff made me want to come back and get tattooed more often just so that I could hang out with them. My tattoo came out beautifully- Mihailo is an artist, and my tattoo came out just as delicate as I wanted.

We stopped by a few different places to check out prices (I had 2 ideas but wasnt sure if I could afford my favorite one) I told him both my ideas and he loved the idea for the more intricate one. Asked my budget which was about $100. Agreed and proceeded to hand sketch a beautiful piece which normally would cost at least three times that. He was much more concerned with the piece than the price. Very nice and helpful. We were just passing through Pittsburgh on a road trip but I will most definitely be returning for my next tattoo. Deal or no deal the staff was fantastic, the shop was clean, (great music was playing), and the tattoo is beautiful.

If you want a piercing... GO HERE!!! Zach is absolutely amazing! Im terrified of needles going in my face and he did my septum and it wasnt bad at all... He has a medical background and I was very impressed with his sterilization techniques. He talked me through what was going to happen and got me to feel relaxed as well as educated me a big more on what to wear and not wear for my gauges... I plan to go back for a few more piercings in the near future and Im definitely buying my gauges from Ice 9 from now on as well as another body jewelry

Mihailos openness, and sensitivity makes him... in my opinion an artist of the highest caliber! Its an honor to have such a gifted man create a synecdochal symbol of living art.

I got a VCH piercing and Zack was amazing. Ladies dont let the big muscley, horn pierced, heavily tattooed man scare you, he is sweet as pie and made me feel so comfortable!! I actually went by myself (wouldnt recommend just as an overall guideline) but it was great. He was funny and friendly and explained everything he was about to do before he did it- including the sterilization process the jewelry goes through, which is great- if youre going to go anywhere for anything I now recommend Ice 9 Studio! I have a lot of tats and piercings so Im particular who I go to and Im elated I picked Zack at Ice 9. The whole staff is nice and the place is very clean and nicely set up. The piercing itself is $70, but he talked me into getting a blue gem for the top ball and I ended up paying $90. BUT I will say this- I have been to Southside Tattoo and theyre usually expensive, this specific piercing wouldve been less than Ice 9 but even knowing that now I would still choose Ice 9 because Southside Tattoo is overpriced, not very nice staff, and is just not as awesome, even the building and ambiance is nice at Ice 9. I would pay for the same piercer I got for that amount every time before I go somewhere else. Found my new place for tats/piercings in Pittsburgh!
