I randomly found one of the artists (Alexis) at Wyld Chyld on Instagram and have since gotten two very differently styled tattoos from her. Her work is nice, shes a dope soul and she is very communicative with what she is doing and asking how you are doing.I have plans to get more art done here. The other artists have been kind during my short interactions with them and the whole environment feels welcoming.Yall rock. ✌💚

Dont book with NIKKI!!! Shes very unprofessional! Discussed having a piece done 4 months in advance, she agreed, told me to send the deposit whenever and when I finally sent it, 2 months before the date. She decided to book over me and offered me a refund, not another date, just a refund. She never communicated to me that my dates would be booked over if I didn’t pay the deposit sooner because I was under the impression I could send it “whenever”. They need someone to take care of their books because clearly these artists cannot do it for themselves. I’m feeling very frustrated and angry a business so highly regarded can have employees act this unprofessional. Dont’t think I’ll try to come back and don’t recommend you do either if you prefer a professional, organized experience.

This place has been a joy to be tattooed in, and my experience has been literally magical. The ambiance of the shop is great, covered in eclectic art instead of flash walls, and feels spacious and welcoming. Alexis, the front desk/scheduler/guru, is a joy to chat with and work with. She handles everything and is friendly and instantly makes you feel at home.While I did not get work done from Bill, I was around while he was working and he seemed super personable and his work looked great.Sarah is an intensely talented artist, and she is so down to earth and really works with you to make sure you get both a tattoo you will love and an experience that makes you feel comforted and at home. She is worth every penny.

Matt is an amazing artist! The staff is nice and the shop is set up in a way that while open each area gives some level of privacy.

If you are interested in getting an amazing tattoo from an amazing artist I highly recommend this shop. I drive over 4 hours one way to get here and have made the trip 4 times now. Everyone here is amazing including Ink Master season 2 runner-up and shop owner Sarah Miller. She is very humble for someone of her celebrity. Wyld Chyld Tattoo is a clean and friendly shop. I recently went and had an appointment with Alexis, she was very kind and went along with me in showing how my tattoo would look on her laptop as we discussed size and location. 10/10 will go again for future tattoos!

Just recently had my first session with Sarah Miller. She was friendly and professional, but most of all you could tell how excited and passionate she was about doing my tattoo. She is immensely talented and people have been floored when I show them the results of my first session, which isnt even close to finished. Worth every penny.

Amazing. I cannot express my gratitude to this place enough. It was my first time getting a tattoo, and they were super patient and helpful towards me. The tattoo artists are top notch, and know exactly what theyre doing. Although now I live 800 miles away, if I ever want to get more tattoo work done, Ill happily make the trip to Wyld Chyld in Pittsburgh.

I love this place. Theres a nice little waiting area between reception and the tattooing booths with a coffee machine, and the staff seems to really know their stuff. I have a service dog, but it wasnt a problem here- they were already really knowledgeable about health laws and where he could/couldnt be, so they found a way for him to be close enough to work without being in the way. A really excellent experience!I was here for one of Sarah Millers walk-in days, but after meeting her other staff and creeping their books Id definitely come here for art from them if I lived in state. They had a very cool energy and seemed to love what they do. One of them helped rework my tattoo idea before he brought it to Sarah, and I like it better than my original take.Also, theres a pizza place two doors down where you should go if youre waiting for your turn. Amazing.

My daughter really likes the tattoo she got there, her artist was Crystal, she is super nice and very professional and always gave my daughter a follow up call. We are back in Arizona. Pittsburgh is the city we love to visit

This is the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been to! The staff was super friendly and professional. I am more than happy and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo!!!

After I have spoken with the artist and have scheduled a tattoo session, I needed to make a few changes to the design. At that point I have emailed the changes to the artist. After a week, when I did not hear from her, I have called the place, asking to check with my scheduled artist to see if she received my email, plus just to make sure, I passed along my email address. After a few more days, when I still did not hear back from them, I made another phone call. This time I was told that artists dont get back to anyone via email and such, that they are busy with their current clients! I tried to make a point that I was also a current client, since they have my deposit. That fell on deaf ears. Once the conversation heated up, I asked for a refund. I was told that refund is not an option since there is a sign at the store stating to that effect. My husband and I insisted on the refund as an exception, explaining that due to the horrible customer service even PRIOR to getting a tattoo, we should get our money back. After a few minutes, the conversation ended by an agreement that the deposit WILL be credited back to our credit card. AS OF TODAY, JUNE 8TH, 2015 that did not happen. Yet, another lie. Also, I was charged a credit card fee of $1.50 - at the time of depositing the money I was never told about the fee. This place looks very upscale but has a very poor attitude and low standards of customer service. Meanwhile, we have scheduled an appointment for the same tattoo at a different location where people were very friendly, the quality of the tattoos seems outstanding, the price was by $100 cheaper than at this place, and the deposit was only $20.00 I would strongly recommend choosing a different tattoo parlor.

Just got a tattoo last Friday. The office is what you would expect, but with an eclectic and energetic group of artist. Bill Goldbach gave me my tattoo and he did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and artistry made my tattoo come to life. Its perfect! I will be going back for my next.

On a holiday to Pittsburgh and wanted a tattoo to mark the occasion, picked this shop because its owned by Sarah Miller- had a great experience from start to finish! My tattooist was Lauren Toohey and she did an amazing job - the design is perfect and she was very friendly and professional. Hopefully Ill book more trips to Pittsburgh in future so I can come back!

A great place to get a tattoo. Sarah Miller has very talented tattoo artists working for her, who have nice personalitys. The shop is kept nice and clean inside. Bill Goldbach has personally tattooed me. When he is working on a customer he is always changing his gloves in between ink colors or changing tips or getting other supplies and keeps his area clean, so not to spread any diseases. I have recommended the shop and Bill to friends of mine.

I had a wonderful experience with Wyld Chyld at the 2015 Steel City tattoo convention. Rebekah was super nice and helpful when booking my appointment and the tattoo by Matt is absolutely perfect. Definitely my new place.

I had about 2 hours of work done, but was charged for 3. the artist started late, and continued to get up and help other clients in the middle of the tattoo. The quality was great, but literally everything else sucked. Overall very unprofessional, I will never get another tattoo from this shop again.

I had an old tattoo (29 years old) and it was pretty faded. I had 2 sessions at Wyld Chyld, the first to re-line the tattoo and the second to have it re-colored and jazzed up with some water color work. Matt McKelvey did the line work and it looked great when he was finished. Matt inked my son the same day and we were both very happy with his work. I went back about a month later and Lauren Toohey did an amazing job with color!!! Im really happy with the result, and old tattoo has new life. :) I have an appointment with Sarah Miller in September and I cant wait. Her work speaks for itself and shes obviously surrounded herself with great artists and a professional staff - her shop rocks and Id recommend it to anyone interested in getting a tattoo.

Very unprofessional. My son has 2 confirmation emails for today at 3pm and upon arrival was told it was a noon- lost his deposit of 150 dollars. Do not recommend

Was put on a waiting list roughly 2 years ago for a cover up, was pushed off and forced to change dates several times which didnt bother me since they waived my downpayment. When my appointment date neared they changed their mind and I was required to have a down payment, since I couldnt make that date and asked to reschedule to a later time do to military training I was told I will not be given any appointment. Would have been nice to get my tattoo fixed and I knkw they wont be affected by not getting my business. Sucks that nobody helps out veterans anymore.
