While driving, my sidewall got a bit too friendly with the curb and put a hole in my tire. Fortunately it was just down the street from Whitehall tire and when I gave them a call they said they could take a look before they closed for the day (this was about 20 minutes or so before closing time). They quickly took a look at the issue, gave me a quote on a replacement tire, and got me set up for safe driving.

Had tires installed here that I ordered online. After installation my car was vibrating down hi way. I called and explained the situation and the guy seemed nice and stated that they would take care if it. I brought my car in the next day. This time the guy behind the counter was not so nice. It seemed like he was angry that I brought my car back. They did take care of it quickly. After completion, I thanked the gentleman for taking care of the problem. He only stated heres your keys. Instead of saying we found one out of balance sorry for your inconvenience have a nice day. He proceeded to tell me how cheap my tires are and thats why they were vibrating. After leaving the lot my car felt 100 percent better. I know mistakes happen and Im not complaining about that. My money spends everywhere and due to the poor customer service I will not be going back there again.

This place is the best! I needed two new value stems after purchasing a new vehicle and was having a hard time finding a good place to get serviced. They went out of their way to help me with everything I needed, gave thorough explanations as to what was being done, and had the best prices around. I will be recommending this place to all of my family and friends in the area. 10/10.

Best tire store in the area. After getting the major run around from almost every tire place in the West Mifflin/Jefferson Hills area, I am glad I did my research. I didnt have to wait a week to get one tire. I didnt have to wait two hours. I was taken care of immediately and the installation of both new tire sensor and tire was less then 30 mins. Highly impressed. I will gladly support small businesses over big box stores. At least small businesses still care about their customers.

Saved the day. I noticed my left rear tire had a puncture in the sidewall and not safe to drive. The gentleman at The Whitehall Tire Service got me right in and I was out the door all set with new tires in literally less than 40 minutes. The prices were very fair and it was so refreshing to be able to get same-day service like this. Not knocking the other shops on 51, but they all would probably have scheduled me in the following week, whereas I was able to get right in and great service at a great price. Ill be returning here for my future tire needs. Thanks guys.

Tire repair - in and out in 30 minutes. Service was great. Owner or Manager was way more patient than I would have been with the two customers that came in after me. One customer was mad that they didn’t have a USED tire in his size. The other guy walked in with his pants down below his - - -. Mr. Mumbles. Needed two tire plugged. Didn’t like the price, so left. Wanted it for free I guess. Good luck. Anyway, highly recommended.

This place is great. Always very helpful. Went there for the first time about 4 or 5 years ago and have gone to only them for tires since. I recommend them to anyone. There was one time they didnt have my size because the tire I wanted was discontinued but told me of another size from that brand that fits my vehicle that was a bit bigger and I have been getting that size since because it actually gave me better traction. Like I said, they are great and they know their stuff.

Don’t let your wives, girlfriends, mothers, sisters, or any female you don’t want screwed over in general go here by themselves. My husband and Dad couldn’t be there with me, but thankfully I have a some common sense and was able to talk to my dad and husband prior to going in so I knew what to do and what not to do. I blew my tire out the night before I went in to get a replacement and have the spare taken off. They did a great job putting the tires on and such, however, they absolutely tried to trick me into spending over 200 dollars on a rim I did NOT need. They wanted me to order it right there with out driving my car, which threw red flags up in my head. Apparently my car was going to shake super bad and it wasn’t going to be safe to drive far distances or at high speeds. My car did not shake at all and I took it on 79 to check it at high way speed. I took it to TWO different mechanics for a second opinion and they both said I did not need a new rim they were upset someone tried to sell me something I just didn’t need. Honestly these men should be ashamed they tried to take advantage of my ignorance to cars and that I was a young woman by myself. I’m by no means an idiot, but I unfortunately have to rely on mechanics telling the truth because I do not know much beyond the basics of fixing a car. Be aware, if this place thinks they can trick you into spending your hard earned money on things you don’t need, they will try.

I had bought one tire there, about a month ago, and a different tire started slowly losing 4-6 psi a week. I took my car in, and they replaced a sticky valve core AT NO CHARGE. You dont hear about that too much anymore. My Dad had bought tires there for years. Nice people.

I called this place on a Saturday inquiring about pricing and if they take appointments. The phone was answered be a very RUDE useless individual. To some it up I was told they do not take appointments and would be open until 2pm. I arrived at this place that same day at 12:40pm. I stood in line for about 10 minutes while the desk associate had a conversation with someone else (not concerning anything about tires or car related). The desk associate then looked at me for about 2min then said “we’re not taking anyone else today”. I will NEVER waste my time or money on this place again. They clearly have very poor customer service and communication skills.

Busted a tire and had to get one quick. They took me right away and had the tire on very quickly. They recommended an appropriate tire and didnt try to upsell. Craig was very friendly.

Had a blown out tire but had to replace all four due to wear. Called around and Whitehall Tires for Less had the best all in price. Dealing with insurance companies can be a frustrating process, but John spent a considerable amount of time with the warranty company getting the road hazard coverage handled. Would recommend to others who need tires for a fair price.

Went to Whitehall Tires for the first time yesterday. Wonderful Place! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They got me in right away, took care of my pulling to the left problem that Ive been having since forever! I will now be a customer for life! THANK YOU!

Their address is listed as an official PennDot inspection station. Their website lets you schedule an inspection. I called 30 mins before my inspection to verify and guy says No we dont do inspections. Gotta fix something guys...willing to update when they no longer let you schedule services they cant provide

I simply called the shop to ask how much their tires run for my car and how much the mount and balance would be. I did not know the size of my tires off the top of my head as most websites Im looking to buy the tires from can know this information for me, or the tire shop can look it up. The man I spoke to did not offer to look up the information for me and talked to me very condescendingly during the entire conversation. He told me if I brought in new tires from somewhere else (online) that he isnt sure he would even consider mounting them for me. I have never dealt with such a rude tire shop that would turn down work from a customer. I also, do not appreciate being talked to in such a condensing manner, they are lacking customer service skills and I told him I will not be using him and he just lost a customer.

The folks here are super nice and they charge way less than even online dealers (and Im a fairly savvy online buyer of everything). I dont know how they do it, but their prices are the lowest Ive found anywhere. Only drawback is they are far from where I live (on the east side of Pittsburgh), so I cannot take advantage of their offer of free tire rotations every 3000 miles (when you buy 4 tires from them), but it still is worth the trek to buy from these guys.

Today is August 22, 2019, 5 weeks ago I purchase 4 brand new tires for my Chevy Trax costing over $500. My tire blew on the way to work yesterday and they found it had a small gash in it. It was my back left tire (drivers side) and the gash was on the wall of tire on the inside. I believed I have a warranty on the General tires I purchased. Now since only a month had gone by I felt they should have replaced that tire as defective or discounted it by half price. They charged me full price $125 dollars no negotiation. I am sure that they wrote that damaged tire off as defective and will get reimbursed for it. I believe they scammed me and I wont go back again.

The worst service I have had on my car. The manager is a condensending jerk. Not worth the aggravation. I would highly recommend taking your car ANYWHERE else!

This place scams people - stay away. Needed two winter tires for a 2WD van. They told me that I had to buy four and it was against the law for me to purchase only two tires. I understand that with most 4WD or AWD vehicles you need to get 4 tires at the same time - but not with a 2WD vehicle. Then to say it was the law, that is an outright lie.I got prices from several other tire shops and not one of them gave me a hard time about buying just two tires.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Didnt treat me like a customer should be treated. Also handled my car poorly. I had a flat tire and wanted to get it fixed under the insurance I had covered. The guy refused to take the money from my insurance and wanted me to pay up front which defeats the purpose of having it. He told me the sale wasnt worth his time since he wouldnt make any money. Which is insane for a private business owner to say in front of a customer. He started to get a poor attitude when I told him I couldnt pay for it and started on a rant. They also handled my rim poorly after I had paid a lot of money to get them. One of the workers carried my rim with the tire off and just threw it in the back of my trunk. The mens bathroom is also placed in a bad location. Its right inside the garage where they work on the cars. I doubt that meets safety requirements for customers. I just overall felt like i was treated poorly same with my car. I will never recommend this business to anyone.

Service was ok. Manager talked to me like I was inferior to him. Prices were decent, but brakes i had put on started making noise a month later and they refused to take care of it for me. After a little post-sale research, I found way cheaper prices on GUARANTEED parts and labor at other shops not too far away.

This tire shop is not affordable. It seems like he just pulls #’s out of thin air...champ tire beat his prices so did Walmart & Overbrook tire not by much but this place is supposed to be a discount tire outlet. Also the owner is a know it all with an attitude for no reason.
