They have a high focus on customer satisfaction.Every time that I go there i’m very impressed by how well they answer my questions and give me information relative to my needs. They always steer me towards the highest quality and most cost effective option.Some examples of how they have helped me are listed below.I hadHad a leaking brake line in my old Toyota Camry. They were able to help me figure out what I needed to do to fix it. They spent a good deal of time answering my questions and walking me through what I needed to do. They allowed me to borrow some tools to get the job done and I was able to fix a small section of leaking brake line for under $40 including brake fluid and all parts I needed. They were patient and kind.Another example was with my lawn tractor. I managed to cross thread the spark plug hole. They talked me through what I needed to do to re-tap and drill a larger hole to put in a threaded insert that allowed me to fix the problem. They let me borrow tools to get the job done and the total cost to fix it was less than $10. I was able to get my tractor up and running and finish cutting the grass in the same day.If you ever need anything for your car at all, you should definitely go to McCandless Auto.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at McCandless Auto Parts!It was a Sunday morning and I needed to replace the battery in my car.Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent! AND, it is great to patronize a locally owned small business!!

They saved the day!! Dealership stated Id need both batteries replaced for $500!!! Found out only main battery was dead, paid a great price and they took the time to install complimentary!!! Thanks for taking care of your customers!!!

Its amazing what these guys can fit into their limited space. They recognized the obscure old part I brought in and were able to find a replacement in stock. Great knowledge, kind staff, and fair price. I had assumed the bigger shiny chain stores had a big advantage over these guys, but they just have bigger marketing. First place I go next time I need a part to fix my cars.

This is THE best auto parts store in Pittsburgh. Their prices and customer service can not be beat. As a young woman, walking into a car parts store can be intimidating sometimes, but the employees here are always so helpful, knowledgable and friendly. On multiple occasions an employee has gone out of their way to help me with small things on my car such as replacing wipers and headlights. I will never go anywhere else! Love this place!

Pressed out some bushings and ball joints, pressed new ones in. Even got a seized CV axle out of my spindle. All for a great price. Thanks!
