Bridgette was absolutely amazing in helping me out today. Super friendly and very knowledgeable on the nuances of the different parts, and took the time to explain it to me.Last time I needed something for my car I went to Pepboys and felt a little steamrolled by the male employees (I know not all men are like this but these guys were). Anyway it was refreshing to feel respected as a woman entering the world of cars. In the end, I walked out with the right part, fully installed, and with a better understanding of how my car works for the future.

A photo of license plate was taken without my permission. Asked why? To look up the car was the response. Unacceptable since VIN# was provided prior to leaving store. Purchasing brakes doesnt require license plate photos. I will never go there again!!!

This store used to have great service and friendly accommodating employees.Today, not so much.Just had to walk out while on guy was on the phone for 10 min and the other employee, dressed like a kitty cat for Halloween I suppose, waited on not one but two people who walked in after me as I stood at the cash register,. Not to mention the first person told her I was there first. Oh well, off to Autozone.

Super nice and friendly people. Went above and beyond. I had my car towed to get a battery replaced... After they installed it the car still wouldnt start and they spent another hour or so fiddling around FREE OF CHARGE until one of them whacked the starter with a hammer which brought the car to life just long enough to take it to my mechanic. They were wonderful people.

I wish I could give NO STARS! I am a small business owner... Today, I was in East Liberty when my Dump Truck refused to start. I went to this Advanced Auto and purchased a battery (almost $150), but it didnt have enough juice to get it going, so I went back and bought another one (another almost $150) and it still didnt have the juice needed (probably sat on the shelf too long), so I gave a random guy $20 to pull me so I could pop the clutch, and it started right up. First, My wife, who was at home through all of this, called this Advanced and asked if I could return it, and they said yes! I went back, told the Advanced Auto people what happened (that the batteries did not work!) and they wouldnt give me my money back! Because I used the batteries! I hooked them up just long enough to realize it wasnt helping... a few cranks was all I needed to know that. How the F*** would I know they wouldnt work without trying them?! I called my local Advanced Auto, and he said they would have given me my money back, no problem! I even asked if they would just take one back (I would still have been in the possession of 1 battery that didnt work, but my God, 2 batteries!) They sold it to be not 30 minutes prior. I am really pissed about this... I am definitely not over it... I think ill be giving their higher-ups a call, because I just got totally ripped off! Beware!

These guys are the best. Very nice and attentive staff. They are laid back in demeanor always joking around with each other, but when it comes to helping customers they go well above and beyond. Best auto parts store in Pittsburgh.

Ive had multiple poor experiences here, from being sold a defective part to an employee suggesting I was lying, to items being wrung up with the wrong price. Its the closest auto parts store to me, but I dread going here.

This is a nice and calm place to buy your car needs.

Of course they have what I need. Thats just a given. The staff here is also helpful, and willing to tackle even the small jobs - such as installing windshield wipers... even if you should be able to do it yourself. Sometimes figuring out that little clip thing on the wiper is a pain... so its nice to have someone around who can just take care of it, while you wait.Joking aside though, theyre there with advice and knowledge with the more complicated problems as well... so if you have a problem with your car Advance Auto Parts is a good go-to, helpful resource.

Helpful staff. Will help with installing batteries, and wiper blades. Can have your battery charged (provided it was purchased from AA). NOTE: AGM batteries require an overnight charge.

Local and convenient, not as inexpensive as walking mart but will have what you need.

I was completely dissatisfied with my experience at this Advance Auto. I needed a new air filter and went in to purchase it. When I asked if someone could put it in for me, I got laughed at. He said We dont do that here. We only install batteries. I have been to plenty of other Advance Auto Parts and they always OFFER to install whatever I purchase. I will be taking my business to AutoZone from now on.

Good little shop with a helpful staff. I havent run into too many chain stores that I have had such good experiences at. Avoid the assholes at Pepboys and give these guys your business if you can.

Ive used this store a few times and most visits have been average. It depends on which employee is helping you. I bought a new battery here and unfortunately one of my terminals was pretty badly corroded. Despite the disappointment of them not being able to install the battery, the employee really put in the maximum effort and time and was genuinely regretful that he couldnt get the new battery installed. I will continue using this store.

I only go there for parts so I dont have much of a review they do their job opening the cash register?? I usually know what parts and stuff I am getting from them so I dont ever have to deal with suggestions and wrong product mix ups...but they do their job
