I cant speak for other mechanics in this area, as I really havent had much cause to frequent them. However, having recently come into possession of an older vehicle, Ive had to look for a local mechanic. Let me tell you everything you need to know: this shop is as honest as they come. Competence, knowledgeability and persistence are all great traits (and they display them all), but at the end of the day, I want honesty. They go out of their way to save you money, are up-front about the cost, and in the last two visits have actually ended up figuring out a way to charge me less than estimated. I will never take a car anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I called Norm Weiss to get some information after I had a horrible experience at a dealership nearby (botched work, several visits, caused further damage). Although Norm didn’t take on the work (in this case I had to take it to Subaru to prove my case of the damage they caused to get it cleared up), he spent 10 minutes on the phone with us two different times explaining what they had done, how it should be fixed, prices, course of action. I wish I went to him in the first place but he now has my business for life! Thanks Norm!
