I highly recommend Pittsburgh Collision! Jon made the whole process really smooth which was nice because I dont know anything about car or car repairs. I will definitely return with all my car repair needs.

I used Pittsburgh Collision a few years ago for some body work and had a great experience. I needed to get my passenger side mirror replaced and decided to check them out again after the Honda dealership told me it would be over $800.00. John found a used mirror in great shape and had it delivered a few days later. Had it installed a few days after that and it cost me half of what the dealership would have been. They were friendly and explained everything in detail to me. I’m glad I used Pittsburgh Collision again and will use them in the future if needed.

If you, like me, are a girl in your mid 20’s who knows NOTHING about cars, looking for a car shop that has the nicest people to make you feel comfortable, confident AND knowledgeable about what’s happening without a trace of condescending tone, Pittsburgh Collision is for you. Pittsburgh Collision made what should have been a stressful ordeal so easy, they walked me through each step, oh and also fixed my car back to brand new in a timely manner. Couldn’t recommend them more, I will be returning with any and all issue I might have with my car!

It’s never fun dealing with car repairs, but Pittsburgh Collision made it as painless as possible. They managed the insurance and rental car companies so I could have as little interruption to my life as possible. You’d never know someone backed into me. They are busy, so I had to wait a few weeks to get in, but once they had my car, they worked quickly. They are doing a nice job managing the COVID restrictions too.

Pittsburgh Collision did such a great job on fixing my car, which was a minor dent and some scratches. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and how long it would take to fix my car. They called me any time they needed to update me, ask me questions, and asked me before they did anything not agreed upon. Friendly and professional service at its best. I would recommend Pittsburgh Collision to anyone who needs their car fixed professionally.

**Please beware of this location**My car was hit back in June of 2020 and my insurance company recommended this place due to it being in service. He repaired my vehicle from being hit and also informed me of other things that needed repaired. So I approved for him to do the work. He informed me that I needed two new front tires, control arm and also a wheel bearing. I informed him that I did have a Extended warranty and he said normally they dont cover that I then got another phone call with my new total. I paid it and went on with my day. In December my car started pulling to the right. I then got it towed to my shop because it was bad. I was informed by my mechanic that the person that had done the work on the control arm never put the safety pin in the ball joint to connect the two. I completely lost it! That tire basically fell off and I had been driving it like that for over 6 months. As a single mom of two that drives for a living I was completely lost. So I contacted John at pgh collision and he didnt understand how that could of happened .. like really?!?.. so my mechanic spoke to him as well. Then I found out these parts should of been covered 100% under my extended warranty so he also ripped me off of over $300. So when I confronted John regarding the charges that should of been covered and also the fee I had to pay my mechanic a few days prior to reattach it he got so ignorant. He was yelling at me in the front of my house while my kids were there. He is a joke and so are his mechanics since they cant even put a dam safety pin in a screw. Now I have the pleasure of dealing with my warranty company to get back for all the stuff this place charged me!

We are so appreciative of the hard work put into repairing our vehicle. Being in an accident is never easy but our experience here has been beyond what we could have imagined. After being involved in a fender bender, I took my Suburu to Pittsburgh Collision to replace the front bumper and headlights, which had been cracked in the accident. John and his staff were very friendly and professional throughout the entire process, and did a fantastic job on the car. They even replaced a panel over one of the front wheel wells, which had a small dent from an unrelated accident, at no extra charge. I would strongly recommend Pittsburgh Collision to anyone needing body work on their vehicle.

I got my Nissan with small collisions fixed here. I visited 4 places in town and they are the cheapest. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. It only took them ONE day to fix it. They took time to work out with their customers and did a good job on the paint. I cannot find any signs of work on the car. I even get a free nice-looking key chain and get my car washed for free which I wast asking for. This is my first time write Google Review, definitely the best place in town to go.

This place is amazing! I was in a car accident and took my car here to be repaired. The owner was very professional and patient. When my car rental fell through, I was offered a car rental from the shop. When I picked up my car, it was flawless! It literally looked like a brand new car. I noticed that spots on the car that weren’t even due to the accident had been touched up. It was also completely cleaned inside and out, which was a major plus. Time frame of work was about 6days. I would highly recommend.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Pittsburgh Collision and John Lynch, the certified collision care provider. From dealing with my insurance claim (State Farm) to aiding with returning my rental car (Hertz), they provided the utmost quality and customer service. John was able to get my bodywork completed in a matter of days compared to other body shop quotes. Not only did they give a great quote, but fixed my back bumper and cleaned up a few scratches not even included in the claim! Highly recommend this shop!

I will never go anywhere else. I called up Pittsburgh Collision on a whim because my side mirror got taken off and I was side-swiped and I didnt know where to go. The person that hit me had the General insurance which I hear consistently is terrible to deal with. John said in spite of that, he was willing to have a look at my car. I brought it in the same day and he said he was booked for another month. However, he was willing to get my car in and get the job done. On the spot, he called in to order the parts that day with me there. The General was awful to work with, both for me and for Pittsburgh Collison. I picked up my car and they exceeded my expectations. Without asking, they checked my oil (which needed changed desperately) and gave me some other tips to get things checked out on my car. John walked me out to my car and to my surprise the entire car was detailed and absolutely spotless. It made me realize how awfully I needed to clean it. I couldnt have cleaned it better myself. He didnt even charge me for this service and dealt with this les than accommodating insurance company without complaint. This place is devoted to providing great service. Id give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Pittsburgh Collision!!

My car looked brand spanking new

My insurance company recommended this place. Because of their partnership, all I had to do was show up, drop the car off, pick it up, and the body shop and my insurance did all of the talking. Very easy, and my car looks great.

Highly NOT recommended.Just recently had my car fixed here. It was an insurance claim. It took them over 2 months to give me a day I could take my car there. After I dropped off my car it took them 3 WEEKS to fix it. They would give a day it would be done, then the excuses started: were backed up, were short staffed, there was the holiday weekend, were waiting on the primer.After picking up my car, the body work looked good. They did a good job on the area that needed repaired. Until I started to take a closer look. The broke my gas cap, dent and chipped the front driver side light, ripped the whole back of my passenger seat. Then when it was addressed to them they said oh ya, we noticed that. It was like that before and we arent fixing it. It most certainly was not! My car was in perfect shape before I made the mistake of taking it here for a repair. Completely unprofessional. The worst experience I have had. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!

Pittsburgh Collision is a great place to get your car fixed after hitting a deer. John provided great customer service and his team did a great job on the body and paint work. My truck looks like it did when I pulled it out of the dealership lot 4 years ago.

Love these guys! I hope I never need an auto body shop again but if I do there is absolutely no doubt I will go to these guys again. My Mazda was rear ended and needed a new bumper and some repairs done to the trunk - these guys had it done in under 3 days, they worked with my schedule and stayed late so I could pick it up after work, and they gave me a really great price. AND the car! It looked better than when I bought it - they not only did a beautiful job on the repair, but they meticulously washed my car (my hub caps shined) and cleaned the interior. A really great experience overall, which is saying a lot considering the whole accident process is a huge pain.

I had a door replaced on my Honda Civic by Pittsburgh Collision. They did an excellent job -- on time, and the door looks perfect and works perfectly. They threw in cleaning up a few minor items that had never been worth fixing on their own, as well.

These guys were great. They took care of corresponding with my insurance company, they articulated everything that needed to be fixed, and they worked beyond their typical hours to make sure my car was finished on time. Friendly staff that treats you with dignity too (i.e., doesnt talk down to you about your car).

Despite a complex situation (two different areas of damage, only one of which was being handled with insurance), John was easy to work with and did everything he could to take care of me. The work looks great and Im extremely satisfied with how everything went.

John was incredibly helpful. Not only did he take car of my car after it was back-ended, he walked me through submitting a claim for a hit and run that had recently caused a huge scratch down the side of my car (which I was just going to ignore until he suggested he could help). My car- a 2016 Subaru Outback- came back looking as close to new as possible and I was no longer embarrassed to drive it. He also reprogrammed my car- apparently since a past accident/repair my airbags hadn’t been working for the last 2 years! No longer. He updated all the software and things work way better than they had. I half wondered if my car could fly now lol. John communicated with me every step of the way and now I know not to bother going anywhere else for any auto body repair.

I couldnt be more happy. I dropped off my car on a Monday and it was repaired by Thursday mid morning. On top of the excellent work they also cleaned the auto both inside and out valcroed the tires and received some sundry gifts.A real plus job.Thanks

Annoyed that my review was deleted. I went here last year after an accident. This shop was recommended by my insurance. When I picked up my car, the check engine light was on and the car was not fixed to before accident condition, even though they charged my insurance the full estimate amount. When I attempted to return the car the owner was combative with me and sent me home in an unsafe vehicle. I eventually took my car elsewhere. I urge anyone to take their car to another shop.

I was in a real bind after an accident and they did a phenomenal job, and charged a lot less than I was expecting to pay.

I had an appointment at 9 a.m. on Wednesday 08/31/2016 to replace my door handle on my car which I made a week in advance. I work all the way in Greensburg PA at 9 a.m. and took the time off for this to be completed. When I arrived at the garage, I was met outside by the gentleman telling me that he would not be able to get to it today. I was never contacted about this. I was very inconvenienced due to taking time off from work.I deal with customers on a daily basis and have for 25 years. If I would ever do this to any of my customers, I would have to compensate them in some way according to my Company. All I was told was I will call you next week to make an appointment. I live in Lawrenceville and I will tell everyone I know about my experience that I encounter. I will not give a Company business that treats their customers this way.

I wrecked my car only four days after buying it....needless to say I was devestated. I came to Pittsburgh collision and spoke with John at the time he informed me that they were about a month out in scheduling appointment s however after he looked at the damages he told me to bring it in the following Monday and that it would probaly take about a week and a half to do the work because of how bust they were. I dropped my car off that Monday morning around 11am and he called me back on Wednesday around 2 in the afternoon and told me my car was ready. My car looks amazing!!! They did a great job and did it it only two days!!! I would recommend this place to anyone needing body work done to their vehicle. Thanks guys!!!

They gave me good advise!

Had an estimate done by insurance company.I then call up pittsburgh collision to schedule an appointment to drop my vehicle off for repairs a week in advance.Show up on time on the day of appointment. I tell dude I have the estimate and I have to email it over before he starts dealing with anything. He then replies why are you here for an estimate if you have one already. lets go look at your car. To which I said the person I spoke with on the phone knew I had an estimate its not my problem. Then he says we are booked for weeks out.I again said not my problem. We go outside and look at it together.he says it doesnt look like theres any hidden damage. To which I reply the foam reinforcement needs replacing which wasnt on the estimate. He says it should be fine. To which I reply Ive looked at it and I saw the Styrofoam pieces falling out after the accident. Anytime that shock absorbing foam is used in a collision it MUST! Be replaced. I tell him all what is needing repair. 1. New bumper cover paint and install.2. New foam reinforcement behind it, cake install and removeal. 3. New tailight. And 4. An alignment. He ended up trying to convince me to take the money and run. I said I want this repaired proffesionally.He then told me an alignment wouldnt be needed from what happenned. My whole suspensions was %100 replaced with all new parts aligned a week before the accident. As well as an image on the alignment rack after the accident which shows the rear end is crooked. He insisted years of his proffesionall experience tell him its impossible when fact and data prove otherwise. He ended up refusing to take my insurance claim. He said its too complicatedI would not recommend anyone to this place if they cant replace a bumper cover, tailight, foam reinforcement, and do an alignment with some ez shims and camber bolts That speaks volumes about how inadequate this place must be... beware!!I would put 0 stars but Google wont let me.
