Many great things in Michaels...if you like being creative they have a great selection in the clearance, enough to get your creative juices overflowing...great prices.

I wanted to find a nice picture frame for my college diploma. I found a really nice one at a decent price! The service was really good too, they are very friendly.

There was a long line this evening that went back through the aisles. The cashier (I couldnt see her name tag & I cant find one on my receipt) was extremely patient and kind. I had my 3 children with me whom all had a seperate transaction (not including my own), one of which included a return. I appreciate the respect shown-- not once did she hurry us or make any purchase (no matter how small) seem irrelevant.This means a lot in a time when customer service is lacking and people are in a rush. 👍🏽👍🏽

Nice place for housewares. Alittle expensive though

So this is not a store that I frequent Often. Typically if I need supplies such as glue tape runners, crayons and stuff for children to do arts and crafts, I usually will just buy it online. However this particular day I made the decision to go ahead and go to Michael’s intentionally so that we would not have to wait the shipping time after placing an order because my sons really really wanted to make clay molds the kind you put in the oven. As I said in the beginning of this review Michaels is not a store that I frequent Often; therefore I was not familiar at all with how to navigate the store what all products they carried etc. So obviously I’ll look for a floor associate to ask for assistance. The young man who I asked for help from, he was super nice and very helpful! He help me find the items I was looking for in less than five minutes and was very polite and cordial. Then that check out I was worried that it was going to be very expensive quite frankly. To my surprise it was not. So that’s why I give this review a five star, and why I’m sharing my experience because it was such a good experience! In the biggest thing that I’ve noticed since the year of 2020, is that the big brick and mortar retail stores I have dramatically declined in their customer service, willingness to help us consumers, and basically just follow the norms of society and social interaction in a setting such as this. I’ve been noticing a trend that a lot of the employees at these big brick and mortar retailers have completely disregarded the Importance of their job; Which is to be polite and helpful to the customers that come to the store. Help us find the items were looking for, answer questions, and basically just be nice and helpful and of assistance. The trend I’ve been noticing is that employees have been rude, inappropriate, and obviously could care less about helping us customers to have a better experience at their stores. As a small business owner myself, who is strictly cells on e-commerce and, meaning I don’t have a brick and mortar store; if I did have a store with employees I would fire them on the spot if I saw the behavior that I personally have been experiencing. So I tip my hat to you Michaels arts and craft store, For being the example of what a good brick and mortar retail business in post 2020 should be like. Thank you for that very pleasant shopping experience that I had when I visited your store. I greatly appreciate it and so do my sons. We’ve had lots of fun making clay molds that’s all they wanna do we actually ran out of clay LOL!

Favorite go to place for craft items. Has been a godsend in keeping my joy during this pandemic. I have even stepped put of my crafting comfort zone and tried new things

Great customer service friendly employees

Good customer service! They had a clearance item that had to be bought in-store. They put a hold on it for me and I was in and out of the store within 10 minutes.I had reservations on the location because I heard that traffic can be very busy, but I (and my GPS) navigated it with no trouble.

Great selection of supplies, just wish the isles were laid out smarter. Seems like nothing is grouped together. Excellent friendly staff and ordering online to pick up on store is super convenient. Website told me 2 hours to pick up and I had a text confirming my order was ready within 15 minutes.

Michaels is a chain store that sells a wide variety of craft supplies. During my recent visit, I found products that met my needs. Prices were low to moderate. The cashier said hello and wished me a good day.

Generally well stocked with good prices. Saturday they were just about out of balsa wood. I needed to reach to the bottom of the bin to get what was left.And then I was greeted by a bored cashier.I will be back but I am watching how things go.

I always find exactly what Im looking for, and it made my event that much more professional

Was looking for oil paints that are water soluble. Found canvas paper, oil paint, and brushes and mixing oil. They had even more but we were just starting.

Lots of assortment in products but didnt find t h e variety of happy planner products as I hoped.

The lines were over halfway across the store. They need a system in place to expedite the lines. Having 2 people standing at each register isnt working. It took far too long to check out. Staff was very nice and helpful.

When you need glass vases and your partner brings you along, you quickly learn how many flowers they sell.

Got stickers and more bible journal reflection books for gifts for others. Got supplies to make cards for friends and family and so excited to start making! Great prices..friendly staff..lots of options

Im not sure if this is an East Coast thing, but this Michaels was the smallest one Ive ever been to. It wasnt really all that well stocked either. Hopefully its just a pandemic thing but Im not likely to return to a big name store if it doesnt have more in it. A solidly okay place if you need some odds and ends and dont want to pay small business money.

Way too expensive! Love crafting but these prices need to come down. Go to At Home. Nice variety prices much more reasonable!

They sell a little bit of everything here and I can often find something thats adequate for my needs. My only beef is the painting supplies are really only suitable for students and you wont find any higher grade paints or painting materials. You also wont find a lot of help from the staff. But prices are generally pretty good.

Great place for the craftier in your family .

I visited the Aaron Brothers custom framing at the back of the store. I had a photo on my phone that I to be printed on canvas. The framers name was Stephanie and she was absolutely fantastic. In addition to being super knowledgeable about the process, she was friendly and upbeat. She was very patient and never rushed me. Stephanie embodies the spirit of customer service!

Great store, awesome discounts, got my movie posters finally. Cool Halloween stuff too.

My child went here for a birthday and had a great time. I didnt even though they did birthday parties. She said it was the best birthday shes ever been to. Plus, there is a large selection of crafts and fun things for kids here. And there are lots of fun decorations for holidays.

Employees were friendly and very helpful with any questions or concerns me or my family had.

Helpful employees. Not sure what I needed to complete a project, an employee knew what I needed and helped me select the right color and size for my project. Had helpful tips about mounting it too.

Shannon deserves a raise!!! Not only was she knowledgeable and very friendly with us, as people were walking past she helped them too!!! Multitasking at its finest. I also noticed her name tag said she spoke Spanish, an absolute treasure for a retail store to have working for them.

This is one of my favorite stores! Making my daughters Valentines Day box was fun, we picked up this cute unicorn box kit to attach to it.

This store is great! Everything was so neatly organized and clean. Also the customer service was awesome! We found everything we needed. I make jewelry, the bead selection was wonderful!

This is an inclusive art store! I havent had a problem finding anything my budding artist requires. Theres a wide variety to suit your cost expectations as well. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Its also close to Ross Park Mall if youre out shopping or running errands.

Really nice selections of arts and crafts materials despite being one of the smaller Michaels in the area. Staff are very helpful, and the store is always very well kept.

Easy to find whatever you need. Store associates are super friendly. Actually had one inform me about a coupon that saved me about $20 bucks off my total. I didnt even have to ask her for help, she saw me looking at yarn and came over on her own to tell me about the coupon.

Good variety and quality products. However, they advertise products online and the app that they dont have in store. Very disappointing.

Very nice store! Got my pumpkins (not real pumpkins) for 2 for 12 dollars for a excellent savings deal! The old school Michaels logo from the outside part of the store is very cool!

This is a great craft store for when youre feeling creative. I love their products, everything is of quality material and a great selection. I buy a multitude of items at this store.

Easy to buy online and pick up in store. My order was ready in minutes. And I like that I can filter to only what is available in stores. Of course I usually buy an extra item when I go in for pickup!

Had an unpleasant experience at the register with a cashier. My daughter had a coupon, and I had a coupon and we were going to make separate purchases and the cashier tried to keep us from making a separate purchase. Michaels you need to change your policy and train your cashiers to treat customers with respect. Especially customers that are shopping several times a week. Its ok though...I can always go to Hobby Lobby, or Joannes...Joannes has great coupons and they let you use more than one per transaction.😐

Its a nice store. But was just in there. Long lines 2 registers open. Lady walking around asking how is everyone doing..... Instead of walking around asking how about you open a register? Other then that nice store.

It was a quiet early evening on Wednesday with 2 other customers but I had to hunt to find someone to help me and the one cashier they had was new..its the cashier who do you think people go to first for help? If shes up front and new.. then the other not so new employees need to be more visible. Im going to Hobby Lobby or another craft store next time..

This Michaels is a smaller store than most Michaels in the Pittsburgh area, but they still provide a good selection and have helpful staff. The store itself shows its age in the fixtures and lighting, but it is full of great craft supplies just like any other store. If you need something in a large quantity it might be best to give them a call in advance to check if they have it in stock. I do this and have them put something on hold for me which makes the shopping process even easier. Michaels in general is a higher priced store than Pat Catans, but they have an app where you can download their coupons while you are in the store, and theyve just started a rewards program. Im part of the rewards program and have been sent coupons in my email that are better than the ones they send me in the app, so it might be worth it to subscribe to both if you are a frequent Michaels shopper.

Always can find something new or fun to spark your creativity. Can get some great deals just by belonging to there shopping club

Friendly employees.

Twice now I have used the custom framing dept in Michaels and they are absolutely wonderful. The staff was very professional and most importantly knowledgeable. I trusted them with a very valuable piece of artwork I just purchased and they did a marvelous job helping me decide on mats and frames and I was very very pleased when I picked up the finished piece. Keep up the good work Michaels!!!

This place has a great supply of materials for the average crafters and for keeping children busy.

1 employee running the cash register on the saturday before xmas. I had some questions about merchandise and no one around to ask. Literally 1 employee in the entire store and she was the one on the register. Bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels.

Very stocked for all crafting. Friendly and helpful staff. Used bathroom...extremely clean. Totally positive experience.

The staff is friendly and very helpful, I went in with a friend question and Danielle behind the frame counter help me understand my problem with dust build-up, and even cleaned my frame while I waited and shopped around. Danielle was very helpful and that provide a great insight.

I found everything I needed! Originally I was very scared that the prices was going to be super high but they actually was reasonable. The staff was ok. I asked one where something was and she told me to read the signs.

I had a chicken waldorf salad. It was excellent...so refreshing! I will definitely have it again!

The store had a great sale going on and a good selection. The cashier when I checked out however was surly and clearly unhappy. I guess we all have those days.
