Great service. Juan took the Nissan Frontier pickup to change the cracked radiator. He thoroughly explained the process prior to starting the repair, explaining that the loss of antifreeze could be the reason why the air conditioning system shut down. He replaced the radiator and all is working properly. He had the vehicle repaired the same day at a very fair price, half the price of the dealership. Pinellas Total Car Care on Park Blvd is now our primary repair center. Oh, Juan was very understanding and listened intently to the problem at hand...

If you need any type of Automotive work, Pinellas Total Car Care is the only place you should consider. You are getting an honest mechanic at a fair price on labor and clear communication the entire time it is in the shop. My work truck is now running like a dream and I can honestly say I have found my lifetime mechanic. If I could give this shop 6 stars I would!

These guys take good care of your car. They will do whatever they need to do to find out the problem with your vehicle. Their prices are reasonable.

I only went here because I was stuck on park blvd and knew my alternator gave out... they replaced it same day and within an hr of leaving their lot all of my check engine lights came on (NONE of these lights came on until the alternator was replaced) ... not once, twice, three times ... Four times I had to bring it back to them only to say it is a purge valve ... they replaced the purge valve and charged me an additional fee... the valve was not fixed and lights came on AGAIN !!! Brought it to them this morning after finding out why lights came back on, only for them to say a tube couldve got stuck in the valve ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Instead of blaming the customer, fix your mistake or tell the customer the car needs to be towed somewhere else for a mechanic to actually fix the issue! Do not recommend, rip off and then blame the customer !!!!!

Took my daughters car here because it wouldnt go into gear. I was worried that it might be the transmission, but the problem was the shifter cable. They also did all of the brakes and put new shocks on it. They went over what was wrong with the car and the price to fix it before they did any work. Car was fixed by the next day and I was charged what I was quoted, which was very reasonable. Thanks for the great work guys!

Andy is amazing! I have a regular car and classic cars. I bring them all to him with the confidence that he shares my passion for cars. Ive had some pretty unique problems that other mechanics in my area (I have relocated out of Florida) could not or would not handle. I make it a point to bring my cars down to him whenever possible, thats how much faith I have in him. Hes the best, not exaggerating.

I am beyond pleased with the service provided here! First phone call customer service from Juan was awesome. Upon having my car towed to the shop, they began working immediately. They ordered my fuel pump and had me out and ready a day sooner than expected with a brand new fuel pump. Andy and his crew has serviced my (various) vehicles for over an 8 years period. When we moved from Pinellas Park to Tarpon Springs, we remained loyal customers despite the distance we had to travel. 4 years ago, we moved to Tampa. Now it takes a little more time and coordination, but I would not take my vehicle anywhere else except to Andy. Why? He maintains those rare qualities of honest and integrity that is difficult to find in the automobile repair business. I trust him because he has proven himself over and over again.Example: 1998 Ford truck - needed to replace a sensor that was leaking fuel and became known to cause fires. Andy confirmed that I needed to have it replaced, but did not replace as he advised me to take it to a Ford dealership and they would replace it (for free) under a recall. Nor did Andy charge me for the inspection.Example: 2002 Nissan ~ replaced sensors that caused the vehicle to stop suddenly that the dealership missed (or were unwilling to admit while vehicle was under warranty) during their inspection for the same problem.Example: Every estimate for repairs for vehicles Ive had under warranty, Andy was able to effect the repairs for as little as 1/3rd the cost.Honesty, integrity, reasonably priced, expert and timely service ~ thats what you get from Andy at Pinellas Total Car Care!!!

I think ive commented before but feel compelled to do so again. most trustworthy mechanics ive ever come across.- theyve twice advised me to not do work to save money on my old truck after i already gave go-ahead to spend the money... and refused payment even when both times took two hours of their time to diagnose- they found a cheaper way to repair my oil pan then two other mechanics- always come in cheaper than others and what my internet research lists as expected pricesif anyone deserves a recommendation its these guys

Andy Piazza, the owner, and his mechanics are all great people who also know what they are doing. The first few times I used them nearly four years ago, I obtained multiple estimates for whatever work my vehicles needed. They were always competitve or less expensive. After the first 6 months, I stopped bothering with any other shops. The only place to which I will bring my vehicles is Andys.Work is always done when promised. I love that I am always in the loop regarding whats going on...in other words, these guys actually communicate with their customers. AND...they will tell you if you dont need an expensive repair that you were sure you needed! They will explain what needs to be done and why, if youre mechanically challenged...and they will give you options if it is a situation where there are choices.Every person to whom I have referred them has been pleased. I am so happy to have a mechanic who I completely trust. Its been almost four years, multiple vehicles and never a single problem.

Been taking my car to Andy for years, heres why:had my battery replaced about 6 months ago, did it myself. It was a bad battery and died on me, store replaced, put a new one in. It has been working fine for the last 6 months until a few days ago. Now Im convinced something is draining it...bad wiring, alternator, etc. Drop it off at Andys and he calls next day and Im expecting bad news. What was the problem? Another dead battery, somehow I got 2 bunk batteries in a row. He went to the store himself and got a replacement, same store so no cost there since its under warranty, and put in the new battery.Tested it a couple of hours later, good to go. Nothing wrong with my car at all, just another bad battery. Total cost for this: Zilch, Zero, Nothing, Nada.Having a mechanic you can trust is absolutely priceless, I cant endorse him and his team more. Thanks Andy!

As a female, its easy to believe mechanics are out to get you and take advantage of a perceived lack of knowledge, but to find a place thats honest, professional and willing to work out any discrepancies...this is a car shop worth staying with and people I want to keep endorsing. My second visit here for my car. Absolutely amazing. Fair price and honest people. There was an issue and my car was not available the day it was supposed to be. (not upset whatsoever, they completely took care of any extra costs and labor) Luckily I found a ride to work the next day and I called to speak to Mike & Andy as I was afraid I couldnt find a way there after work. They offered to pay for an Uber! Luckily I didnt need to do that as I found a ride but seriously these guys will take care of you like you are family. Will always come here for any issues I have with my car!

Being a person who knows very little about auto repair, I have had my fair share of rip off artists in the automotive field. Naturally, I was skeptical when a guy at Firestone recommended Pinellas Total Car Care.Andy (the owner) was courteous and professional from the get go. He was honest and up front with what was wrong with my truck and did not do any work without first telling me what the problem was and what the total cost would be.I Have been going there for over a year and he has even told me at times when no work was needed. His prices are fair and he is as honest as they come. His work is fast and gets it done on time.

Quick and efficient, very pleased with the service they performed on my GMC Sierra 1500 4WD (motor mounts, $700) and great price. Clean shop, which indicates the owner and staff care about their equipment, tools and the work they do. I usually wrench my own stuff, but for those jobs I cant do at home, this shop will be my go-to. Only negative I have is would be nice to be open until at least 6pm. Keep up the great job, guys!
