I called the shop at 8:30 and although they were not technically open Dan still picked up the phone. He told me to bring my vehicle in at 9 and they would be happy to look at for me. My vehicle had a serious issue with the front end.45 minutes after I dropped it off Dan called with the diagnosis. Dan explained all that needed to be done to make my car road worthy again. He never treated me different because I am a female and never made me feel dumb for asking clarifying questions.When I picked up my vehicle the guys were very professional and gave me the recommendation on items I may want to address in the future as I had requested.My husband and I had been looking around for a shop to work on our vehicles. I think we have found it... 😉Thanks guys for making this a pleasant experience and doing quality work at a fair price.

I went to J & D auto repair due to the google reviews. I know it is hard to believe that they received all 5 star reviews but after today I understand why. My wife’s car had a highly pressure power steering hose leak that needed to be replaced. I called prior to going and received an estimate. Upon arriving I met Dan who was as personable and professional as good be. I explained that I also wanted an oil change, which he said would be no problem. A few hours later Dan calls and says the car is ready. When I go to pick it up, the labor charge was actually LESS than the estimate. What a surprise. I have never had a mechanic charge less for labor than stated. Also the oil change was less than the 5 minute guys. I hope I don’t need a mechanic too often but mark my words when I do it will be J & D Auto Repair.

Please do NOT take your car here. I have taken my car here FIVE times to get my air conditioner fixed and it is STILL NOT FIXED. I first took my car here and was told I needed a new compressor so I got that done. My air was still not blowing cold so I took it back and was told my air filter was dirty so I replaced that. Got home and my air was STILL NOT blowing cold air. I took it back TWO more times after that and was not charged nor given an invoice and was told they re-wired my system. Get home and my air is STILL NOT blowing cold air. After investing $900 in this business I stupidly took it back a FIFTH time and was told my HVAC line needed to be replaced so another $400 later I get that fixed. Now my air is STILL NOT blowing cold air. After $1200 later my AIR IS STILL NOT BLOWING COLD. I’ve wasted 5 trips up here and wasted $1200 to have my car in the same condition as the very first time I brought it to them. I have no clue how this business has 5 stars. I will not bring my car back here and highly suggest you do the same. Extremely frustrated and disappointed and now have to spend more money to take my car somewhere else to get fixed.

My car engine was replaced in July/August by a different shop. I had problems ever since and everytime I called them they would say give it a couple days...then a new problem would occur. On Sept 20th...it died all together and I had it towed to the same shop. They had it for 2 weeks and could not figure out the problem. It would run sporadically but they took out the air conditioning parts...it was just empty. They would let it sit for days and do nothing.Finally...I called the place I got my car and they referred me (both a personal referral from the guy on the phone) and a professional referral to Dan and this repair shop. From the first time I spoke to him..I felt more confident that they would do their best to help. I dropped it off Monday morning Oct 4th. Picked it up this morning Friday October 8th! They fixed the mystery electrical problem....replaced the air conditioning system...and recommended some other work that I am taking it back next Friday to do. Dan has been NOTHING but open..honest...professional.. patient in explaining things so I understand..because I know NOTHING about cars....reliable and they did great work at a very affordable price. It rode home much more smoothly! And thankful for the AC. I am returning for the recommended work..and they have totally won my business. I trust what they say and there is a lot to be said for that in addition to great work! Thanks Dan!!! 100% if you need a fast, efficient, honest, hard working, good at what they do shop.....PICK this one!!

Honest mechanic that does outstanding work. I would give 10/5 stars if it was an option!Just moved to the area, and needed my car serviced after a cross country move, and close to 130,000 miles in my CRV. The Honda dealer recommended thousands of dollars (no joke) of work to be done.I asked J & D for a second opinion. They looked at my vehicle with me, and showed me why certain services were necessary, and which ones were bogus. On top of that, they caught that my engine air filter was in desperate need of a change, but Honda told me it was good to go (translation...Honda didn’t check). In the end, they charged me about 20% what the dealer was asking.I will back at J and D for my car service needs. Thank you for giving me and honest and quality service for my vehicle!

Excellent experience. I needed warranty work done on a vehicle purchased through carvana, and J&D Auto took care of everything. If you need work done on a carvana car, I couldnt recommend this shop more highly.I also had some additional work, beyond the scope of the warranty, completed while my pathfinder was in the shop. Although I didnt end up having the work done here, Dan was extremely kind and professional while giving me a quote. They did a full break inspection for free to make sure what was asking for was accurate. If I didnt have a family member who helped me out last minute I would have absolutely chosen this place, and I called around to 9 places. I didnt have to wait for them to look at my car, and they put on Netflix and let me choose what I wanted to watch while I waited. Outstanding service that you just dont get at other shops.

Great experience. I went to J&D after going to Tire Kingdom on 34th st n. Tire Kingdom quoted way to much and didnt put my lug nuts correctly on my tire. By the time I got to J&D my tire was pretty much off. All problems with my brakes, rotors and tire was corrected and corrected in a timely manner. Very professional and very informative. My car was looked at and was given a quote before any work was done.

Last Wednesday my car wouldnt start after I stopped to get gas. A co-worker referred me to Justin at J&D, whose shop is right down the street from the gas station. Justin was kind enough to meet me there, and diagnosed a dead battery. After getting the car started we drove to the shop for a new battery. My car was back up and running in no time!From the initial contact to the final bill, everyone, and everything, was professional and honest. I highly recommend this shop!

After a breakup left me with no regular auto shop to bring my car to, I was recommended here by a friend who tracked down the mechanics from a chain auto store because she liked them so much and it wasnt the same without them.They diagnosed my issue and fixed my air conditioner perfectly. When they looked at my car my break pads were also wearing down but they were awesome about it when I said Id prefer to fix that a little later because I was low on cash. I didnt feel pushed into it, I think I got an honest estimate on how long I can wait to address it, and I didnt feel I was given a laundry list of possible issues just to drum up business, which is always my fear with mechanics.I was a walk-in first thing in the morning and my car was fixed by the afternoon. My father had gone with me since he was in town and he loves to ask tons of questions, which Justin was really patient with and happy to answer, even bringing out the old parts to show him.These guys are absolutely my new mechanics!

My Jeep had been shaking for months and my mechanic couldnt get to the bottom of the issue. I was extremely frustrated! I brought it in to Justin & Dan on my Moms suggestion. Not only did they find the problem within minutes, but they took the time to explain exactly what was going on and show me the part that needed to be replaced on my vehicle while it was on the lift.
