Best music selection Ive seen since the 90s. I could spend hours in their cd section and still find good jams. Old and new. Nice book section being built up and their funky figures are everywhere. Something for everyone here.

Awesome place to find some hidden treasures! Considering the amount and variety of collectables they keep it organized. Will return to this location for sure and check out others. Seeing all 5 locations seems like a good side quest! :D

Some amazing hard to find vinyl, amazing customer service and cool impulse items. They also have books and other collectibles. Definitely worth it if you are in the Phoenix area.

Where do I even begin? 👀 Lol first off the employees here are all great!! Super friendly and helpful 🤝🏼Then theres the movie selection and I found some great ones. Me and my kids loved walking around here seeing all the great things they have. Ill be back soon and Ill post more pictures!

Ive been to the Camelback and Thunderbird locations a few times and have received excellent service every time. Great selection of new and used vinyl/CDs. Also the adhesive price tags can be removed easily leaving no residue on the album cover. Small yet important detail. They are definitely my first stop when I need an album.

Its not clear to me exactly what one cannot find at this establishment. There is something for everyone. Do not enter, unless you are willing to commit to at least an hour of browsing and discovery. Lots of nostalgia for people of a certain age 🧓🏼

I had a wonderful experience at this Zia Records, the was staff was very helpful after I finished ringing up my items they let me hold them at the front for safe keeping while I looked around waiting for my friends to be done, when I asked for the bag back they made sure I got it right away. One member of the staff was extremely helpful Taylor helped me order in some DVDs, brought things off shelves for me to look at and helped me and another customer on break, She was very kind and had a wonderful attitude I look forward to shopping here again they have a great selection and a fantastic staff I would definitely recommend this shop.

Always a great experience! This time I found a Buena Vista Social Club Double Vinyl and I couldnt be more excited!! My boys found books of their favorite movies or cartoons and you can find funny gifts for friends and fam

They have decent products in the store. But their trade ins/sells are a joke. Went to sell my Nintendo switch lite, was offered 60$ because they “don’t sell well” which is a blatant lie. You can go there to buy cool, nerdy Knick knacks but just sell your stuff online and don’t waste your time at their counter.

Used to love comming here. NOT anymore. The governor already lifted the mask mandate, I already had the virus, and i cant come in without a mask on. I just recently had surgery in my throat and am unable to wear a mask. I offered to improvise wearing a face shield and the manager wouldnt have it. Ive been comming here since this place since it was on indian school. Its a shame how people are now being treated. I hate to say this but even after they stop being irrational about the masks Im probably never going to come back here, thats how poorly i was received. Instead of comming here every weekend Ill have to goto Bookmans from now on. Goto another location people, this place isnt what it used to be. old man rent-a-cop at the entrance was a total jerk with zero people skills on top of everything.

All Zia rocks. All employees were helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back to add to my movie collection. I hope they never go anywhere but up!

Great variety of stuff! This place reminded me of a cool record store I used to frequent in Michigan...but this place is four times bigger and ten times cooler! The lady that helped me with my purchase was very pleasant and helpful. I will absolutely be back!

I love Zia records... probably my favorite store. Pretty hard to have a bad experience thats pretty much have everything you need service is always good, and the only reason I gave this the four out of five is I did not like how they had the concert DVDs laid out. Very Petty I know, but it did kind of irk me. Other than that highly recommend the store and any easiest store... stop in and spend money!!

Its always fun to see what they have, lots of sales, collectibles and novelties, ect. The hubs always picks up DVDs, fun selection to choose from, including Criterion and 4k 💜💙💜

Nice selection. A little on the pricey side in my opinion, but thats just an opinion. I found a few records I was willing to pay the price for. I will be back. Definitely check this place out, lots of cool stuff.

This ZIA has some unique items for sale. My kids sell their old video games to ZIA for cash and - or credit to use in the future in the form of ZIA BUCKS. Really nice staff wearing masks. Really nice Security Guard at the front door. Lots of parking. Check it out

Nice quiet store. Not crowded. Good place to find books, games, cassette tapes, records. Staff was friendly and helpful.

They have all kinds of things and the people are very nice i enjoy going into zia and I tell my friends to check they out for the special things you can fine keep up the good work

I like to come in browse through the books and video games. Unfortunately, there was nothing that interested me. They didnt have much Nintendo Switch games or much Economics or Self-Help books. They should really label the book shelves properly.

Every time I walk into Zias, I get greeted and everyone who works there gives you a direct answer or will direct you to someone who can! The music selection is immense!

I wish they would open up more of those again! One of my favorite stores in the world. They need a larger tarot collection though. I was Surprised it was kind of tiny. Love there funny catchy gadgets, and unique trinkets there the best.. 😁

A record store that actually sells records. They also have other collectable type stuff they sell including retro systems. Love this place

Brought in a bag of blue ray im done watching for trade Tuesday mid morning. wandered the store a bit looking for films i see they are certainly charging more than i remember for used movies. 30 min in i go across the street for churches chicken at the hour mark i go get my movies back as they had not inspected them yet.if you need to leave them overnight zia steals them from you. On my way to Bookmans as i end my 3 decade relationship with Zia.

The owner was fabulous, his crew amazing and Prince event was off the chains. I wish I lived closer so I could spend more time here but its a long drive from Indiana!!!! Lol!!!! Definitely check them out. Thanks for a great evening!!!!

Zia Records feels like what you wanted the Spencers in the mall to be. Good selection of eclectic Goods for your senses. Music, movies, Comics, memorabilia, and weird little tchotchkes... all that, and theyll buy your used gear too. Definitely worth going in to see what deals they have second hand. Sometimes you end up like Indiana and find a gem.

They have great stuff but if you want to trade the best be there early youll be waiting for hours

Best used game selection, solid selection of used vinyl, and i got a compliment on my aphex twin shirt, so i was pretty happy with my visit. after working at the Tempe location years ago, this location is probably my favourite.

Had really bad experience on my last visit. The cashier that was charging me was extremely rude. Come to find it he is apparently new, that’s is no excuse for having a nasty attitude. Won’t go into detail but Zia just isn’t what it used to be. I’d rather order online for my records then deal with the employees here.

Everyone is always helpful. Great variety of merchandise! Some stuff is too expensive but great deals on most things. Only issue Ive had was an item they held for me at the front counter and then they couldnt find it.

Great place to browse around if you have nothing going on. The prices are pretty high on the second hand stuff outside of movies which isnt that big of a deal. The rewards program is pretty cool if you shop there a lot. Has pretty much something for everybody.

Very cool store, always looking forward to the next time im in the store! I should note that while its not anything against the customer service or selection of media/ stock Zia has, the location is not the best and there is always a lot of homelessness loitering in front of and around the building.

Overall, ZIA is favorite place for me to shop. I dont have issues with pricing at the store. Some things are overpriced but nobody is going to force me to buy them. What I dont like about this store is novelty items dont have a dedicated area. Theyre spread throughout the store. The search for them is like an easter egg hunt. The novelty items should be within the same general area for customer convenience. In my opinion, ZIA at Thunderbird offers a better experience, even if its a smaller store.

Ive been here bBefore and I like this place. This time I called ahead of time and in detail described what I was trying to sell .I was told sure, come down and we will check it out. I went, waited 40 mins, and was told that they dont even take the kind of books I wanted to sell. I wasted my time and gas and wasnt impressed with the staff that handled my business.

All zia record places are amazing. They are just neutral on everything. One feels welcomed. Thanks to all the zia records staff.

Recently ordered my favorite shows from online and got them within a week. Super impressed! I always went into a location because the selection is amazing however with everything going on I found exactly what I needed online. Support your favorite business! I’ve always loved Zia. Great store! Love all the 80s and 90s stuff they have here. Employees are always very polite and helpful. I definitely come here for video games and movies.

Very helpful staff and reasonably priced. I was also surprised that they still had my membership in their system considering the last time I used it was before they had this location.

Ive found it in my heart to forgive Zia for giving away my item on hold. Would have liked to know holds only last 24 hours. Dont make the mistake I did. Everything is cool.

Ive made countless trips to all of the Zia locations in Phoenix over the past several years and I cant really think of any reason not to check this place out if youre into any sort of music, video games, movies, toys, or just about any other retro media you can think of.Not only can you buy media here, but you can also trade it in for a reasonable about of money for store credit or cash. Just be aware that trade-ins can sometimes take awhile depending on how busy the store is, which can be good or bad depending on how much you enjoy wandering around the store while you wait. Do yourself a favor and check out Zia Records!

In 2006 I found Zia that same year and been trading buying and followed them relocating its the best hands down music store probably in the state I had a lot of choices growing up in southern CA. And Zia has been like alit of upbeat stores you go to along the coast its been a absolute pleasure the staff and product cant be beat you guys deserve maybe a better location no stay where your at forever Im sure there are a lot of people that feel the same keep on doing what you guys do and cds may fade but Im sure Zia wont thank you Dan Garrett customer since 2006 phoenix camelback store

Friendly staff who are even happy when they are slammed. Was a busy Saturday afternoon and they did my trade in while I waited. Took awhile to do but the store has a ton of used stuff to go through to add to your collections while you wait.

Excellent place to go to browse or kill time. I like going there when Im bored with tv. They have some good deals time to time. People are friendly, but I think they could do a better job in their gaming department. Bookmans has a better selection and layout.
