Purchased a receiver and a couple of speakers. The sales guy was really nice and knowledgeable. We opted to have geek squad come out and deliver and install the speakers for us. After waiting all day (and taking an early day from work), no geek squad, no phone call, nothing. Called the store and they said there was no delivery date scheduled. It CLEARLY says on our receipt delivery date 9/2/21. Tried to ask how that could happen and we got hung up on. Really poor customer service. We are left really frustrated, no answers, no speakers, and now we have to go back to the store and try to get our money back. Such a disappointment.

I still prefer going to an actual physical store than shopping online. Yes you tend to get the better deals online, but thats where it lacks in customer service. When you visit the physical location thats when you tend to notice the personal service that is sadly becoming more scares as more and more order online.Great people, knowledgeable techs. If your having computer problems definitely go meat the technicians from geek squad inside best buy.
I am a big fan of best buy, purchase all my tech here and have had excellent help in this store buying my last set of cell phonesbut ask for help with purchasing modem/wifi mesh set up and just wow- employee pushed over and over for me to have Best Buy to install it even though I have set up two mesh systems and had zero problems recently, evidently I am female and too stupid to understand any of this or how to set it up, this was probably the worst experience I have ever had in a Best Buy, we’ll see if online chat will help recommend some products or a different store
Been shopping at this best buy for years, tried to return a defective item just outside their 30 day return window. I was told only a manager could approve the return. While waiting we witnessed the employees making fun of the customers waiting on their headsets. When the manager Chance arrived he did little to help and simply stated that we should have purchased the protection package. He said he could not help us, even after I told him I had no luck with the India based warranty company for the item. After 30 years of patronage its sad to discover nobody cares and there is no service after the sale. Think before you shop here!
I would like to give a huge kudos to Lily. It may not seem like a big deal to some but this sweet young lady helped me out with an issue with my phone. I went to Verizon and to say the least they were not helpful. They informed me that they all had i-phones and werent knowledgeable with android enough to help me fix my calendar. Ok, I get it, its not their job and they were too busy. However, Lily had an i-phone and still took the time to figure out my phones issue and among my lack of verbal terms, she understood me, was patient with me, fixed my phone and turned my negative experience to a positive one and brightened my day. It would be great if the world was filled with more Lilys. Thank you
Geek squad dropped off my tv and told me they couldn’t mount it even though I paid $200 for them to do so. Came into the store and Fabian wasted my time for over an hour, finally found the part that was missing from the tv I purchased, and then told me he can’t give it to me. No one in Best Buy or geek squad has been helpful

I made appointment for gig squad to repair my computer. They put a stupide young foreign girl with no experience .She went to back to ask help for my question, but she never came back. Finally I gave it up .It was a few weeks ago after 1 pm
I had to say goodbye to my very old Dell all-in-one PC. Geek Squad was able to get data from the hard drive onto a 2TB external drive. However, I didnt make sure to tell them I would be using the external drive with my Samsung Galaxy S6+ tablet. Unfortunately the drive was formatted in a way the tablet couldnt see it. Fortunately I had another 1TB drive at home formatted so my tablet and almost any device can see it. Unfortunately, I am having to pay for another data transfer to get my old PC data onto the drive my tablet can see. My service plan does allow Geek Squad to reformat the 2TB drive so my tablet will be able to see it.***Lesson learned, make certain Geek Squad knows the type of device(s) you are planning to use***
New return policy is 15 days even if defective. Will not stand behind the products they sell unless you cough up for an extended warranty. Item I purchased was $50 and the extended warranty was $10 or 20% of the item just to be able to return if it broke after 15 days. And from the looks of the store, they will be joining Frys Electronics real soon.
Tried not to waste time to see if they had something in stock only to get stuck on a call center call for a long period of time & couldnt speak to someone at the actual location.Came in to look for the product to no avail, so we tried to have them check other stores to save time. They found the items at two different stores but were unable to hold. Waste of time trying to shop here.
Terrible customer service. Bought a product yesterday from Best Buy in Scottsdale. (Part of system purchased was missing parts.) Tried to return to a closer Best Buy, but they “can’t” return it (we have Best Buy receipt) because it was sold at a different Best Buy with a “Magnolia”. (NOTE: the sign out front of the store I went to also said “Magnolia”.) Now I have to Drive across town to the other Best Buy all because a THEY screwed up and they don’t honor purchases at their other stores! Never again will I buy from Best Buy. There are other options.
Ive been a customer for years. You may have to do your own research before heading over. They honor online prices for reputable sellers.

We stopped in to check out prices on TVs. We had a hard time getting an associate to help us out. The associate that ended up helping us seemed clueless. We bought an open box or floor model and she didnt notify the crew to take the tv down. After a while of waiting we finally flagged another person down. It took them awhile still to get the TV for us. Upon getting the TV home, we discovered that it was missing the power cord. We had to make a trip back to get the cord. I will say however, that, albeit the experience did not start out well, the manager and assistant manager were very cool about the situation. They were gracious and understanding and compensated for the inconvenience. I will be coming back to this location.
I bought my new Samsung 21 here..They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. And made the transition from old to new, easy-peezy!
We walked in and the 1st person at the door asked what were we looking for we said phones. He okay Ill get someone to help you. We stood and waited for a 1/2 hour, no one came to help us. We saw many employees talking with each other not customers. I guess they were to busy for us. We waited a little longer and then we had to go. This is not the Best Buy of the past. They have gone down hill, save your self some time and go somewhere else.
Superiority complex of the manager is running unchecked.I spent 1500 at the store and was treated poorly from the first interaction with the staff here.
I understand theres a shortage of inventory lately but I am not happy with their ability to keep track of inventory or communicate with each other. You would think it be easier these days.I ended up going to 3 different stores chasing down a laptop. I was told they couldnt call to confirm the inventory at another store because their phones were busy. They werent apologetic either. They didnt seem to care I was on the road all day and exhausted.
Paid for SAME DAY delivery. Best Buy email says product is delivered. It was not delivered. Customer Service only offers to cancel or reship the order and the order reship is ONLY 2-DAY SERVICE. UNACCEPTABLE! It has been a long time since I ordered from Best Buy. It looks to be an even longer time before I even consider ordering from them again.
**Edit: The money was returned after a fight and about a month.Best buy is currently trying to steal $800 and refuse to provide the laptop my wife purchased. We called them within 10 minutes of the item being marked delivered to inform them no one had arrived to our residence. They have so far refused to issue a refund or send the laptop to the correct address. Every time we call they put us on an extended hold, only to hang up. Dont give this company your business online or in person.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BEST BUY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!! Employees are liars. I called ahead to make sure a product was in stock and drove over 45+ min to make it before close only to find out they DON’T have it. I wasted gas and could have tried driving to a different location before close but no now I won’t have the camera lens I need by tomorrow for a shoot.. I hope Best Buy goes out of businesses!! This is no way to operate. Employees were just standing in a huddle at the entrance gossiping away.

I couldnt walk in the door without them asking me if I wanted to make a reservation with one of their experts...I just wanted to look on my own and didnt want to be hassled as soon as I walked in the door. Reminded me of an old used car dealership
Very rude people at this store, including the manager. Lady at service desk took 2 seconds to look at me before deciding she wasn’t going to be helping me. They refused to help with my order from the beginning and never said a word to me in a nice tone. The staff made insinuations about me instead of offering any type of help. I left and went to a different location where I was helped with absolutely no problems. I’ve never felt more discriminated against. Avoid this location at all costs (specially if you’re a POC).
Employee who greeted us was nice enough. But young employee who told us they were sold out of connection cord for a VR headset had a rude demeanor, he made us feel computer dumb. Waste of gas to get there AND they NEVER answer their phone when we call...so we had to drive there to find out they were sold out!

Bad customer service, and employees at this Best Buy dont know their own company policies! Today I went to this store to do a return exchange for a movie that I purchased online and received with a damaged case. This was the closest store that had a new one in stock. When I went to Customer Service, the rep said she had to ask her manager if she could do the return exchange. The rep went over to the manager, and she (the manager) gave a flat out No because it was opened (I didnt notice that the case the was broken until I took off the plastic wrap and pieces of the case fell to the ground).However, Best Buys return policy does allow for a return exchange as long as its for the exact same item. I know this because I buy a lot of movies and have had to do this kind of return exchange before, and their company policy states: If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and well arrange for a replacement. After attempting to explain this to the rep she said she just couldnt do it because the manager said so, so I left. I then called Best Buys corporate customer service number and they were able to help me do a return exchange over the phone with no issues.What bugs me the most is the fact that both the customer service rep as well as the manager didnt understand their company policies and made no effort into righting this wrong. They didnt even care enough to say something like sorry we arent able to do this exchange for you when assisting me.
Got a new Dyson air purifier and humidifier. Used curbside pickup which worked as advertised. Best Buy nearest use code not have in stock so were love being able to locate what we need at the multiple Best Buys in the Valley.
I have been over to best by for three different reasons in the last three weeks and each time I was treated with courtesy and helped almost immediately. Very friendly young people.
I thought of making an impulse buy on some cool motorized scooters I saw on display. I have 2 boys so I would have bought 2 of them. I asked a Best Buy employee (woman) on the sales floor if she could check the price for me since there wasnt one on the display. She told me to take it up front to the register to get the price there. I honestly didnt wait for her entire answer since I could see the she couldnt or didnt want to help me so as I walked away I said Thanks in a thanks for nothing kind of tone. I didnt think I had to work extra for an impulse buy.There were other sales people on the floor but by that time my impulse to buy had passed. Oh well.I did get 2 Call of Duty Cold War games (PS4/XBOX 1) that I was able to price match which was pretty sweet. Some wireless earbuds and an Echo Show that was 50% off. Not a completely bad Best Buy run but not great.

Sad. I remember when Best Buy was a destination, but its a shell of itself in person. Though we were met at the front door, we were directed to the wrong area for a part that should have been a no brainer (a SATA cable). Thankfully, we saw another person in the area that showed us to the right rack, but the selection was terrible, the racks and shelves empty, and prices are not close to what you can find on Amazon. Based on this, Best Buy will be a last resort, if anything, in the future.

Went to the Best Buy in Paradise Valley after making an apointment to have my iPhone screen replaced. They took my phone and my $161.80 as it wasn’t covered which was fine. After 2 hours Chad the store manager found me and told me my phone was no good there was water damage. My phone has been in a Life proof case since new. After tell I got Chad that he insulted me and basically called me a liar after telling me he did not believe me. Wow. After all I’m paying cash for the repair anyway. Well my phone went in working and came out completely broken. Poor service and a worse attitude. Go to Apple
A young man helped us find the perfect HDMI cable to hook up our phone to the tv. Now we can watch movies in our RV if we have a decent connection. Thank you to the new employee from Louisiana.
I dont visit Best Buy often mainly because the retail experience isnt for me. Online is the way to go nowadays. When I visit the store its usually for video games. Theres occasions when I cant find a physical copy of a game. Thats when I go to Best Buy. Im usually lucky to find rare physical copies of videogames. On one visit, I found the highly sought after GameCube controller for Smash Ultimate. Its worth it to drop by once in awhile. You never know if youll find a diamond in the rough.
Had a lot of questions about installing RAM and graphics cards so I could upgrade my home PC into a PC I could use to work from home. The guy who helped me answered all my questions and gave me helpful advice. Couldnt ask for more.
I am the kind of guy that researches like crazy when I purchase anything. I did my homework and found the best value at Best Buy. I have bought most of my electronics at Best Buy because I think their buying power enables them to pass on some great sale prices. And the after service, the 30 day return policy, is all excellent and I have used it. Its a great place to get your technology requirements.

It was around 4pm on a Wednesday. I already knew which phone I wanted to purchase. I just wanted to get in and get out. BUT the mobile phone counter was not staffed sufficiently with only two people. After staring at them for 15 mins (myself and five others), one helpful person said well be right with you... and after waiting an additional 10 mins, I chose to leave.Ironically, on my way out, another customer asked me, pointing to the mobile phone department, Is that the line to wait for appointments? I simply replied Is that how they do that here?I recommend the Best Buy on Camelback. There is most definitely a shorter wait for the same department. If you prefer, as I do these days, purchase online and pickup curbside or walk-in. Its less frustrating.

Its hard to believe that a company calls themselves Bestbuy but the employees always state that they cant price match to a lower price. I am not sure if the name is an illusion or the employees are not trained well. Either way they should choose a different name, like Just Slightly Priced Higher Than Everyone Else!

Terrible, terrible service. Ive called 3 separate times on 3 different days trying to ascertain why the ETA changed on an item I ordered for pickup and Ive NEVER been able to get a human on the phone. Hold times were approximately 12 minutes, 6 minutes, and 25 minutes each time I called before I got angry and hung up.Ill cancel my order and get a refund once, if, they call me upon my orders arrival.Overall, completely unacceptable business behavior.
I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and I was able to let them know my concerns about their ordering app and it was taken care of right then and there before I even left the store
Ive not had a bad experience here yet. I come here whenever I have a technological need.Ive come here for DVD and BLU-RAYs, desktop peripheral, and video games. I do believe they are a bit pricey, but honestly no more than any store.I also am a big supporter of Razer products. Which this store carries along with other brands for desktop peripheral. I have reviewed other stores and was very displeased with the services offered. This store is my home Best Buy.Great service, great products, great experience. Keep doing good things, and ill keep coming back.
It is a shame that with a huge competitor taking businesses down like AMAZON places like this Best Buy chooses to treat local clients like dirt.I had the worse experience today with an employee name Abel working the registers today. I purchased 3 different items a few days ago for my sound system, it was actually recommended by the one employee that helped me when I purchase them to just buy the 3 suggestions because we were not sure which one will be compatible with my TV. When I go to return the 2 that didnt work (mind you a few days later) Abel happens to be the one helping me, I see him struggling with the return but I dont say nothing because it is only 3 simple items and it should not be a big deal I was a bit anxious because I had an appointment right after and was afraid that if he takes too long I was going to miss my next appointment. Abel proceeds to tell me that one of the 2 items I am returning is not in my receipt, I told him that can not be because it was only 3 items I kept the one and bringing the 2 back on the only receipt I received the day I bought it. I told him ok darling, I need you to call a manager because I dont know what your people did when I bought it but I have an appointment and I really have to go.When on earth calling someone darling is an offense?!Abel immediately tells me: Ok, ok, but you dont have to give me attitude! I was shocked and told him what are you talking about I am not giving you attitude I am just letting you know I have to go because I might miss this appointment and if you do not know how to finish this simple return then I will need a manager. He then reassured me: Well, firstable you are calling me darling, and I guess is your tone of voice then! At this point I dont even know what to say, thankfully the manager showed up right at that moment and she noticed that apparently the day I purchased the 3 items the person that charged me for the items scanned one of the 3 items twice, so one of the 3 items was not even scan! My question is: How am I supposed to know this mistake as the client? I didnt even bother to read the receipt to see what I was charged for all I noticed was 3 items on my receipt and I left.After describing the audio cable I kept, the manager said ok it makes sense it seems that they charged you twice for the same item and she proceeded with the return. I told her how Abel thought I was giving him attitude and she didnt even care then Abel handed me the receipt with an attitude and told he to have a good day.I was just so shocked with the lack of customer service and how unpleasant, what was supposed to be a simple transaction, ended up being. Making me feel like a bad guy or if I was trying to pull something, didnt even get an apology from the manager or Abel at all. I am a business owner myself and behavior like this is not tolerated in my company, assumptions are never permitted with clients interactions. Clients might not always be right but they are the ones keeping businesses alive especially during these hard times. Never again will this location get my money there are way too many other choices for electronics but I was just a bit impatient and wanted to test my new sound system.Lesson learned! Hopefully someone tells Abel to be less ignorant when it comes to treating people and maybe adding some manners is not above his pay rate.
The Geek Squad came out to set up my Bose surround sound system in the house and on the patio and did an excellent job. Ask for Michael and David. They are an excellent team and did an excellent job.

Buyer Beware !!!!!!!! No refunds on electronics after 14 days. And no warranty support from Best Buy unless you bought their warranty protection plan. Bought very difficult to program Harmony remote and made the mistake of taking 18 days to return instead of 14 days. I will use Costco or Amazon or any other place other than Best Buy in future.
Went to the Paradise Valley, AZ store looking for a TV. Marcus was incredible and provided awesome customer service. We’ll definitely be going back to that store.
Nick from the Geek Squad was probably the nicest person there. He fixed a price discrepancy without hesitation and it just became the highlight of my day. There were a few others who just seemed a bit miserable or uninterested in being there. I dont blame them though for these are pretty rough times right now. Thanks Nick for being awesome!
Tried to buy a vacuum today Instead of ordering in amazon or at a big box store. The cashier was having trouble with the price tag and called a manager to help him. He called him three times and he was the only cashier so I didnt want the others to wait. I waited and waited. He never came. It was awkward after 15 minutes so I just left. Weird.

Just a bad device with defects not there fault just the company whom paid for a fault issue build. They handled it well but the rep was a lil rude but Im not complaining I did what was right and necessary to act on proper return via warranty and not to waste ones purchase.

I was looking for Mario Kart they told me they had over 30 copies in store but couldnt sell to me because 1 costumer preordered all of them. Best Buy should value their costumers and familys. They would rather do business with internet scalpers. Not going back

Bought the washer online. It was delivered one week later. They said they would be here between 11 and 1. They were here at noon. 20 minutes later they were done and on their way. Very happy with the whole experience. Price was competitive....👍

They can’t even bother to answer the phone. Spent 15 minutes just waiting only to immediately be put on hold. When I finally did get somebody to answer the phone, they transferred to a computer which promptly hung up on me and told me to try again tomorrow. I’ve never had worse customer service
