First of all I have to say that the customer service at this location is excellent and they have a large fleet of choices to pick from. My biggest complaint is that I reserved a trailer to tow online through the app. In the past when Ive rented trailers from other U-Haul locations, I was given a 24-hour window to bring the trailer back. Well at this location, after reserving it through the app, I was told that I only had a 6 to 8 hour window or I would be charged for another day. The app never specify the 6 to 8 hour window or I would have chosen a different company. This really threw a wrench into my plans and I ended up not getting the help I needed to move stuff because of the lack of communication on their part that this location does not rent trailers for more than 6 to 8 hours. Even within this facility Ive got two different answers for the same question. I wish I was informed beforehand that I would have to bring it back within 6 to 8 hours, like I said I would have never rented it then because that did not work with my schedule. I feel like I was taking advantage of.

Apparently you are supposed to get a printout of which I did not with my rental. The girl with tattoos at this location failed to go down the list of rules when returning the truck and possible add on charges. Why did she not go over it with me, because they were to busy laughing that a customer had been on hold for so long. Why do I call her the girl with tattoos, because apparently from some jerk of a man they are not required to tell their names. Do not rent from this place EVER... Their customer service sucks and they lie to you. They get one star for a new looking dolly.

Always a problem to get printed receipt for the rental. And also 7 out of 10 no receipt via email. Each time I have to spend additional time(30 to 40 minutes) to call and ask for it. Ridiculous

Called multiple times yesterday and again today just to be on hold for about 3 hours combined. On hold now while writing this review too...... Need a box truck to move and cant get a hold of ANYONE

The hold voice is sooooooooooo annoying it literally doesnt take a second to stop talking & to me hearing that a million times over & over for 30 minutes is absolutely annoying. BUT they gave me great service & were very professional and kind. Thank you🙂

We rent trucks all over the USA and have rented from this one on numerous occassions. They have tons of equipment, great location, and best of all....Awesome employees with great customer service skills!!

After the original UHaul pickup place didnt have the truck Id reserved in place or on time, I came here and Emily was SUPER efficient, SUPER calming, and SUPER good at her job. She made my visit there enjoyable and smooth, after making far too many phone calls to the original place and UHauls Customer service line. Thank you for such awesome service, Emily.

Horrible customer service! I got a guy who was in a mood while I was renting a tow dolley did not ask me how long I was renting it for and he just put whatever days he wanted plus he made me return it to another location, which was much further away from the location I rented it from. He should not be working in customer service! Had a bad experience never going there again!

Excellent service. I had a slightly challenging situation and right before they closed yet the woman helping me was so patient, friendly, and accommodating. I will always choose this place for my storage & moving needs!

You guys were great! Had a blow out on the highway and roadside helped get someone out as soon as possible. Also, I did not ask for anything other than a few extra hours to get my stuff unloaded and I got a discount due to the blow out. Excellent customer service!

Taylor you need to be in charge or get a raise or something. You are awesome and treated us like family. And made our first experience here in Phoenix a good one. Lots of equipment options, great staff and plenty of storage options. Happy with the experience so far.

The team at the U-Haul Cave Creek location was superb! I made more than a few trips there for supplies (and another truck) as we were loading up my old house and each time they were fast, efficient and friendly. I never thought I would say this, but the most satisfying part of selling one house and moving into the new house was working with the team at U-Haul to make the transition happen

While you are driving back into town after a night out in Cave Creek up north it is just great to drive past this U-Haul Moving & Storage center. The red and florescent lights really give off a warm and welcoming glow. Thanks for making a nice a peaceful evening drive.

My favorite U Haul center in Phoenix. James was super helpful with a bike rack and they gave me a great price on a hitch along with the bike rack. I looked at a bunch of other bike shops and sporting goods stores for a bike rack that can hold 4 bikes. They were hard to find or too expensive, but U-Haul has several in stock and great prices.

Been a UHAUL user for a very long time (10+ years) and have never had issues with equipment or staff.Staff is excellent. Great well-oiled company you got here UHAUL

I drove the truck, a 15 Box Truck, less than 28 miles. When I stopped to fill up the truck 1/4 mile away at the Q-T gas station it required $35.00 for gas. About 11 gallons. Thats about 2 miles per gallon. This is horrible. If this what it costs to drive a U-Haul Truck next time Ill rent a larger Budget Rental Truck with a diesel engine that gets 10 times the fuel efficiency. Great location, great service with friendly Staff. Horrible MPG.

This Uhaul place has really turned it up a notch! Highly recommended, GM is amazing.

The gentleman we dealt with in the morning to have our tow dolly taken off was less than polite, courteous, or even professional. He complained about the way the first uHaul company strapped my car on and then proceeded to use profanity in his anger. He seemed miserable to be at work and overall, extremely unprofessional.The second two gentlemen we dealt with when bringing the truck back to drop off were very polite and friendly. Not just professional, but friendly.It was an easy process to drop off/return the truck, which I greatly appreciated!

Difficult to get anyone to answer phone without a huge wait! And need to offer curbside pick up!

Rented a trailer at an affordable rate. Staff wasnt overly personable but they were fast, efficient, and straight forward. They attached the trailer for me and allowed me to drop it off after hours. Very easy transaction.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Extremely unprofessional staff, they wasted hours of my time, gave me a truck that was on the verge of breaking down, didn’t provide the dolly or blankets I rented and harassed me after I extended my rental by an additional 24 hours (saying they would call the police if my rental wasn’t returned on time—which it was!). I wouldn’t wish this kind of treatment on anyone. It made an already stressful move completely unbearable. I rarely write reviews and have never written a negative one. But this experience was that terrible. Please avoid this location!

Rented truck to pickup furniture purchase. Their trucks have come up in the world! A/C was great, handling OK and wasnt the gas guzzler I expected. The only drawback: You cant use your own insurance coverage, and their hard sell tactic of what if and them requiring cash/credit reimbursement on da spot sounds quite leading. Clock your mileage carefully, since they rely on computers (as if they dont err).

My wife ordered a hitch install last week for our road trip the following week. At the last minute, informed by U-haul Cave Creek that parts would not be in until following week and there was nothing that could be done. Therefore, we cannot go on our trip. No offer to remedy, no apology. Nada. Call corporate, talk to clueless rep. they schedule install at another branch. I drive all the way over, and there is no service available because branch being remodeled. have now been sent to a third location for install tomorrow. Trying to verify, but on hold forever and cannot talk to branch to verify This is a terribly run company. Period.

The worst service Ive ever received. The location was supposed to open at 7 am but no one showed up until 7 45. I called the regional office at 7 20, they said theyd find out what was going on and call me back, but never called. When they finally showed up they offered us a discount of 10 cents per mile, until they realized that we were driving to MT. Then said they could give me $30. We loaded the truck and went back the second day to get the car trailer . the lights on the trailer didnt work so they told me Id have to unload the truck myself and load another truck, or wait a couple of hours for roadside assist (in the uhaul parking lot!) 3 hrs later (and simple fuse replaced) were finally on the road.

These guys are great. Always easy to rent equipment or buy supplies. Line moves quickly enough and their people really know what they are doing.

We rented a uhaul this week for 3 days in Phoenix in 112 degree heat w no working AC. When we told them about it they didnt care. They did nothing for us. My husband explained that it was probably a relay switch. The guy at counter was very unfriendly. Its Phoenix and hot.

This location is great for many services. Truck or trailer rental and propane tank filling is tops.Very friendly, personable and honest.

Great staff! They were a huge help with an electrical problem (on our truck) for the trailer we had just rented. Would for sure do business with them again!

Nothing especially wrong although I did have to wait longer than expected for my vehicle and then even though it was basically a brand spankin new van it smells like horse manure. If I had my choice I probably wouldnt return to this location.

I just got a king-sized mattress bag here but they also have boxes and tools and everything that you could possibly need for moving. The guys working here really seem to know their stuff.
