Great Experience here! Was a little hesitant to go based on their rating but their bad reviews are from a business with a similar name! Staff here is very knowledgeable, honest, and love what they do!

Great service, great work. I have dealt with Jack and Brody, and have never remotely experienced anything like the unfavorable reviews, other business or not. These are two stand-up, Customer-oriented, gentlemen. My dealings involve the purchase of a number rifles and shotguns on the internet, perhaps 14 or 15 of them, that I had shipped to Stoney Mountain. Pick up was a breeze, and I got to talking to Jack and asked him if he could perform some deep cleaning and inspections, of rifles as diverse as 1899 Savages, Mausers, Rugers, Remingtons, Winchesters, Sako, Browning. All flawlessly done. That led me to ask Jack to rechamber sporterized K98 30-06 to .25-06, and to put muzzle breaks on two rifles I run higher velocity/heavy slugs through. Ive also had peep sights mounted. All of this was done flawlessly, timely, and with friendly, courteous service. I plan on taking a couple more rifles to him in the next few weeks. This is a legit business that treats its Customers right, and does a damn good job of gunsmithing.

Sent Stoney Mountain an MG34 kit to build up for me and I am very pleased with the result. They were very quick to respond to emails and sent me updates with photos of the progress of the work. Communication was A+ Once I got the gun back, I gave it a look over and was very impressed. I coudnt even tell where the welds on the receiver were done. Took it out for some test firing and again, couldnt be more pleased. The gun shot very well with no issues. I would definitely recommend Stoney Mountain to anyone looking to have an MG34 kit built.

Looking at the other reviews, he claims that Stoney Mountain Jeep isnt his business, but by just going to the Stoney Mountain Jeep Website the corresponding phone numbers are the same. Upon further investigation, this guy is running his business out of his run down home in Laveen. Seems extremely sketchy. DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS

Do not trust Jack. Sold me aL134 engine block that “was .0001 over and checked and ready to build”, when I took it to my mechanic the engine was .0006 over with pitting in the #4 cylinder. I called jack to resolve but he won’t take my calls or respond to my voicemails. I’ll have to sleeve the block to make sure it’s not a total waste.

I do not recommend this company for any of your car service. Had the most problem with this company and had to take my engine back to him more then three time, which cost me money and time to haul this engine back to him over two hundred mile each way cause he did not rebuild this engine right the first time. he kept blaming we did some to the engine and kept making excuses. i do a lot of business with people and this is not the way we treat our customer. he lost my business.
