Were from California... so that pretty much says enough. I loved how well informed and passionate the staff were at explaining everything to us. We had very little knowledge of guns and wanted to actually experience a real gun range and not the ones in Los Angeles. We definitely loved every moment of it. I recommend this place to anyone looking to shoot guns with magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Fyi. You need to reserve in advance if you want to rent fully automatic rifles so definitely call them in advance.

1st time buyers. Ben was super friendly and extremely helpful. He patiently answered all of our newbie questions and was very insightful. We handled numerous guns from 5 different manufacturers and ended up renting 3 different 9mm pistols. Bo, the rangemaster, was also very, very helpful. Bo showed us how to shoot. We went from hitting the edges of the target to hitting it dead center. In the end, the Walther clearly stood out as the gun for us. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend C2 Tactical.

To start this review off, I want to say that the idea of this place is very very cool and I hope they see major success. But there is A LOT of room for improvement. I called them the day I wanted to reserve a lane and was told the steps I needed to take to reserve it online. Great. I reserved a lane online and paid the 30$. I had read on the website that it was 30 to reserve the lane, which included the first persons fee, then an additional 20 per person up to 3. Then it is 20 dollars to rent a rifle and you have to buy the ammo from them as well. So we show up at our reservation time and are told that since we want to shoot a full auto rifle, we need to be accompanied by a range master who was not currently there so we were going to have to reschedule for the next day, which cost me an additional 160 if I wanted to shoot full auto and have 40 rounds included. So I paid the extra 160 and was told that the 30 dollars from my previous reservation could be credited towards extra ammo. When I had rescheduled the reservation, I was told that I was also reserving their SCAR which is what I wanted to shoot. Today, we show up for our reservation and are told that it was 160 PER PERSON to shoot. I asked for a refund since this was the second time I had gotten bad information from them and they came back at me with a “deal” that we could all 3 shoot for the 160 plus an additional 80 for ammo. But on their website it says it’s only an extra 20 per person. And the rifle that we were provided was not a SCAR it was a mark 14 which I was then told it would be an additional 60 dollars to shoot that rifle. So we decided just to go with the mark 14 because it had already been such a hassle and we just wanted to shoot at this point. So we finally get out to the range and the very first round I fire does not cycle another round into the chamber. No big deal I rack another round in and then click. Nothing. The guy breaks the gun down and explains that it’s very dirty because thousands of rounds have been ran through it and he would go get us a different one that had just been cleaned. So he bring out the second rifle and 40 rounds later, this rifle starts firing a “two round burst” on semi auto. The range master then explains to us that one of the pins for the trigger started to walk out due to the amount of rounds ran through the gun. So he fixes it and we finish out our shoot. Overall I am not impressed with this place. Very unprofessional all around and the employees may need some better training? If I’m paying that kind of money for 5 minutes of fun I expect my rifle to work as it should and not malfunction due to it being not clean and not replacing worn parts. Hope you guys can get it figured out but after today’s experience I would not return for that kind of money.

Dustin was outstanding!!! My wife and I are from the NYC and have had ZERO experience with firearms. We scheduled a private class with Dustin and he took us through STEP BY STEP - sizing the right handgun, safety measures, function of the firearm, posture and proper handling. Honestly, was the best experience with any instructor in my life. He was empathetic to our experience level and you knew he respected the process. Would recommend to anyone who needs some confidence on their first time to the range.

C2 is a great indoor range. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Selection of rentals is vast! Lots of cool stuff. I have had dates here and it never disappoints.

This is an outstanding range. Started out when I lived in Phoenix when they opened in Tempe. Now I travel from Flagstaff. Have bought pistols, rifles, a shotgun, optics, thousands of round of ammo. Have taken hours of 1-om-1 live fire training, hours of training on their LE simulator in Tempe and Scottsdale.

I’m an Arizona transplant, originally from Los Angeles County, Ca. I had very little experience and knowledge around firearms. I made the decision that I wanted to purchase a pistol and began doing research and what I should but for a first time gun owner. After spending way too much time hoping I could glean enough info from write-ups, comparisons of various kinds and hours of YouTube videos I came to the conclusion that I couldn’t make an informed decision without handling and operating several models of various calibers. Then comes the frantic researching of locations and reviews of where I should go. I landed on C2 Tactical Scottsdale, and I was completely intimidated rolling in as a total novice. But, I found the stuff to be friendly, enthusiastic and most importantly welcoming. I chatted at a few of the staffers about what I had in mind and how I come to some conclusions, they quickly set me up with what I had asked for and made some suggestions as to what I might take on the range after I had spent some rounds. I ended up there every weekend for a couple of months, asking questions and seeking balanced opinions. They really made me feel like apart of the community of firearms enthusiasts. I ended up becoming a member and as often as i can make it in, I go and continue to feel welcomed and appreciated.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and eager to help no matter your level. The store is always clean and they help you quickly. I’ve taken 2 classes, P100 and P200 and bit were great. Both instructors are very knowledgeable. My husband and I took a private lesson and were very pleased. I would highly recommend C2 Tactile.

Nice clean facility. Wait times for a lane is pretty good during the week (weekends are NUTS).Prices are a little high, but not ridiculously so. The sale staff are goofballs but maintain a modicum of professionalism and fairly knowledgeable.I recommend getting at least an individual membership. It pays off if you shoot a couple of times a month or more.

My wife took me here for my birthday, and I have to say it was the most enjoyable time Ive ever had at any shooting range!The entire staff was kind, friendly, and welcoming. Shooting ranges are often intimidating and scare people away from shooting or guns in general. Not here, if someone were on the fence about guns, they would walk out of C2 and become gun and shooting enthusiasts.The range officer, Cody, made the entire experience so much fun. Not only was he keeping it a safe environment, but he also felt like a close friend who was there spending time with us as well.We were lucky enough to be the last shooters at the range, where Cody turned off the lights and let us shoot in the dark with flashing police lights!Just as we couldnt imagine the night getting any more fun, the manager radioed to Cody that he wanted to give us a free fully automatic MP5 rental! Ive wanted to shoot a fully automatic rifle all my life and just out of their extreme kindness finally got the opportunity!Again, Cody made that experience so much fun! Its nice getting the nudge to do a full mag dump! =)I strongly recommend this place to everyone to go shooting or making firearm purchases; you will not be disappointed. C2 Tactical has our business and we look forward to going shooting there again soon!

Friendly, helpful staff. We came in about an hour before close (knowing it would be a long shot to get a chance at the range) and the kind young lady up front was able to squeeze us in unexpectedly. Love going to the Tempe C2. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Took all the Ladies classes, then went on to the Concealed Carry class. Make good use of Ladies Day on Monday. A real comfortable place for beginners and experienced folks.

I have been a member since the opening of the Scottsdale location. I have always had a great experience and was always ready to return for more. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. I have never had to wait long to check in or out. Very Efficient, Very Friendly, Very Recommendable!

My husband and I took a CCW class and well over a week later we still have not received our certificate of completion. Without the certificate we can not submit our paperwork to receive our CCW. After the second call to the Scottsdale C2 they said they were waiting for the instructors NRA number. How do you have someone teach a class without having that already. So disappointing.

I visit C2 at least once a week. The staff are cheerful and the range people are very helpful. This is my 2nd year as a member and I love it.

Not all fire arms Dealers are the same. C2 Tactical goes a step beyond. Being a resident of both Nevada and Arizona, I hold a Nevada Drivers License. When I was looking to acquire a handgun a few years ago most dealers told me that as a resident of Nevada I could buy a rifle but not a handgun in Arizona. Well C2 Tactical was able to help me.While I am not experienced in all the details, I found out that there are different levels of Firearms dealers.. C2 was able to help while many other dealers in the Valley could not.Past the purchase, the training I took there was excellent as was their range for firing a weapon.Highly Recommend....

Awesome shooting range! And it is indoors, I usually dont shoot when it gets above 105. But now I can. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also Dealer Demo days are Great, you can shoot different models. Highly recommend!

I went in today to purchase another gun and I was greeted by Paul. He was extremely friendly and professional. I absentmindedly said that I felt a bit hungry, and the next thing I knew, Paul reached under the counter and pulled out a three course meal! WOW! I sat down to eat and he even started to give me a haircut! How did he know I was due for a trim! Awesome! By the time I left, I felt stuffed and my hair looked better than its ever looked! Paul goes above and beyond for customers! I’m going to C2 for all my firearms needs. Thanks, C2 Paul!!

Every transaction Ive engaged in at C2 was held to the same standard. The guys on the other side of the counter are always friendly and SMILING, and they give honest recommendations based on experience. The instruction Ive had is top notch and taught with the benefit of LEO and military experience. Plus, the weapon rentals are absolute escapism!

I like going to C2 a lot and the main reason is its full of awesome toys and guys who know what their doing!!! lol Im a builder and enthusiast and since Ive made it my hobby building guns and rifles, I get lots of support from C2a terrific team! Go by and see what I mean!

Loved my experience here. George (?) is great!! I was interested in purchasing my very first gun and he walked me through the entire process. After talking he took me to the back and set up a reenactment of World War II with authentic PTRD-41s and FOG-2s. He handed me a Soviet soldier’s uniform and turned off the lights. The next thing I knew, Государственный гимн СССР started playing on the loudspeaker! WOW! What an amazing experience! Then Lauren narrated the entire battle as if we were in a Ken Burns documentary! C2 Tactical is a great place to work and train. Air conditioned lanes are a must in the summer! What really stands out is the target system on the lanes. The ability to run programs on every lane stands out from any other range in Phoenix. The store is bight and well laid out. The instructors are the best!

In my opinion, C2 is the best indoor range in the Valley. All employees from front desk to sales to ROs are all so friendly and nice and more than willing to help you understand more about firearms and how to safely use them. I cant recommend them enough!

I became a member of C2 Tactical in Scottsdale several months ago and I am very happy I did. The staff at C2 Tactical make it the perfect place for my wife and I. They are friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and always on point which makes us feel very safe. The range staff are always willing to answer questions and provide tips and hints. I feel very comfortable knowing they are focused on keeping the range safe while we are doing our best to focus on our targets. In addition to the staff, I am very impressed the many other amenities they have ... a very comprehensive training program, lots of ammo, good assortment of weapons to rent or buy, some quality gear and easy to use online reservations system. I have not used the simulator yet, but looking forward to doing that soon. I am aspiring to become an Area338 member some day.. :) Cheers

Good place to shoot. The line was a bit long. I’m glad that they asked at one point if anyone had a reservation, because waiting in line had already taken like some of my time.I like the way the online reservation works. It makes it really convenient.The last 2 times I’ve scheduled using the app I’ve gotten lane 20 which is a bit quirky. The target system doesn’t always do what you’re telling it to do.I would recommend this place for people who want a place to shoot.

I purchased a firearm on 2/21/21 from C2 Scottsdale. I’ve been looking for this particular gun for a while and found it there at a very good price. My sale associate Cydney was very helpful and knowledgeable as well as courteous. I’ve been a member at just about every indoor range in the Phoenix area but this place is definitely number one on my list. The sales staff, range officers and front desk staff are excellent to deal with. The ranges are great to shoot on and the RO’s like Matt, Ian and Kyle are on top things out there. If you are looking for a great place to shoot indoors with a safe and friendly environment C2 Scottsdale is the place. The employees know their stuff, and are very helpful. The last time I was there, a few weeks ago, I wanted a solution to a desired firearm modification. They knew immediately what I should have, and found it for me.

Very nice range. Not much of a selection, but I guess things are tough all over these days. Lots of great Sig stuff, not much in the Glock category. Great classes for new shooters and more experienced shooters. Would recommend.

Pros: Excellent facilities and professional staff. Fair prices on renting guns to use on their premises. large selection for purchase of weapons, gear, accessories, etc... Con: The instructor may be gone now but I wasnt impressed with her; she did not want to be there and wasnt fully engaged.

Great experience in the 200 class with my wife and son. TJ is an awesome instructor, makes you feel completely at ease and is super knowledgeable. If you could take a class with him I would highly recommend it. We will for sure be going back.

Been a member for a few years now. Love the facility, its clean, organized, and when its not COVID-19 it is much more peaceful and nicer. :)Staff is great! I have made lots of good acquaintances while visiting the range. I have also taken a few classes there and it is always fun and informative.

C2 Tactical is the best indoor range. The range has great sound baffling, a wide variety of pre-programmed drills and very friendly and helpful range officers. They also have a good selection of firearms and firearm related merchandise.

The store and range are good. The range is very well lit and the lanes are nice. They have range attendants readily available for any questions or issues.We did sign up for membership, but was disappointed that is wasnt exactly like we were told/or understood. On the other side, they were helpful in ordering and purchasing a new firearm.We will be using the range again, and depending on the membership, may join again.....membership was higher than other range options in the area.

I like the facility overall and shoot here weekly because of it. That being said, I really wish that membership would have its benefits when it comes to range check in and checkout. Waiting in a line on average for 15 minutes even though I have a reservation is unexceptionable. Waiting in line for a party of non members to fill out waivers, briefings etc. is not cool. Please fast track those of us that prepay a membership every year please.

First time at C2 today with a pistol lane reservation. It was busy but didnt have to wait. Staff were very helpful. It was a very comfortable environment to shoot in. Will be back.

We had too much fun

I shoot at C2 Scottsdale frequently. The staff is friendly and helpful. The range is super clean. The ventilation is excellent. The computerized range computers provide fun programs that are more interesting than just punching paper holes in static targets. I recommend C2!

I recently rented a lane at C2 Tactical to shoot my new handgun. While the facility is nice, I was extremely disappointed that the majority of the staff was not wearing a mask or face covering. Half of the customers were not wearing masks either. This is an enclosed building and we are in the middle of a pandemic. Very irresponsible and unsafe!

Best shooting facility Ive been to. Range Officers are great. Front desk staff is awesome. Knowledgeable Sales people. I feel safe here, which is important to me. And, they happen to have some multi-ethnic staff members, which I consider progressive for a range facility.

I have been to several gun ranges in the metro Phoenix area and C2 is by far gives you the best bang for the buck. The lanes are clean and clear. They have staff handy to assist with any issues you may have, the cost is reasonable and the locations are in super areas with plenty to do before or after your shooting time. I only wish I could join one of their annual range time offers! Keep up the great job C2!!!

C2-Tempe is my home range. Ive been at ranges across the country from Shooters World in Orlando, Two Gun Tactical in Pearl MS, to Texas Gun Club Stafford Texas and many, many more. C2 is who and what I choose locally here in AZ.

Area 338! I spent just shy of $5,000.00 on a membership to C2 Tactical in hopes that it would be a good investment. Unfortunately I was just another sale. After they ran my card that was it. The next day I sat on hold for nearly an hour when I called to ask why my fob did not open the door. No welcome email, no welcome pack, no instructions, just two fobs. Before canceling I asked for a call from the GM, no such luck. Just an email saying someone would reach out. They charged me 5% to cancel the membership, money well spent as I will not visit them again, nor will anyone I am able to sway with my experience. I say Scottsdale Gun Club is the same price and they show the gratification when you spend $5,000.00 on a Platinum membership.

C2 Tactical is the only indoor gun range my wife and I use. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They offer many memberships to save you money if you shoot a lot. We enjoy the vendor days and have bought on those days after you get range time with any of the weapons offered by the vendor. If you havent been the new location in Scottsdale, it is a must see

Great store, great employees, great classes, great instructors. I have purchase my guns with you. I took my classes and training with Chip. I love chips methods. I have brought my son and got him shooting guns and rifles. Everyone takes their time and understanding of peoples disability. We are treated like family and I love it and come out to shoot and train when we can. Being a single mom Im limited with $ to train and practice.

I purchased a handgun for home protection here, as well as have taken the Pistol 100 level course. I love this range. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. I will always go here for the Ladies Night, a discounted range fee event.

Friendly and helpful staff that provide a safe atmosphere! State of the art targets keep it interesting. You can program the targets to stop, twist, tease and even have the target charge at you. You can also have emergency lights flashing, which I have seen law enforcement do to practice for real life scenarios. All in all a great place to develop or practice your skills.

Wait time was minimal. Everyone was wearing a face mask and was social distancing as much as possible. Ventilation was very good. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Started as a .556 member and now upgraded to Area .338. Obviously my wife and I were very happy with our membership and now as Area.338 we are experiencing a membership like no other we have ever experienced. C2 Tactical makes your Range experience like no other. Come on Down; youll Love It!

Friendly staff. Paul was super helpful and efficient with helping me with my transfer.This is one of the bigger stores in the Phoenix area so has a decent selection of equipment and a rental range with all kinds of guns you wouldnt shoot otherwise.

Went there yesterday for the first time. Way better than the other big indoor range company in Phoenix. Way cheaper to, far better lighting and better customer controlled range controls. Add that to the friendly, helpful staff...what more can you say?

I practice quite a bit and didn’t know what to expect from a private lesson. All I can say is take a private lesson from Cody. I had plateaued with teaching myself, not completely happy with my skills. Within five minutes, Cody had me well past that plateau. I went in a week later to train on my own and improved even more.My game plan is to train until I’ve plateaued again and schedule another hour with Cody. I’d highly recommend those who wish to improve to do the same.

Amazing indoor range. All the staff are extremely courteous and have all the time you need to work with you on whatever it is you are looking for, whether it be deciding on a firearm, going on a course, or just going in to use the range. If it wasnt for the relaxed welcoming atmosphere, I never would have been able to get my wife into shooting as well. Thank you to everyone here for the great job they do.

I’ve been a member here for just over a year now. I don’t get to the club as much as I want to but then again who does? Be that as it may the team there is professional friendly and knowledgeable. I always have a great experience and I can’t say enough good things about the facilities and the staff. If you come down I’m sure you will feel the same way I do.

We have had good days and bad days at this location. Depending on who’s working, will dictate the quality of service you will get. Today we had a lane reservation for 2:00. They called us in at 10 after, which was fine, but the people were still on that lane. Not a big deal (it happens), but we did have to go back to the front desk to let them know. They quickly called someone at the back and then they cleared the lane for us. We asked if they could adjust the time since we were now starting at 15 after and the guy said, “Yes, no problem.” Fast forward 45 min.. “Cody” came up to us and said that we had two minutes left. My stepdad politely told him that we didn’t start until 15 after. Cody replied something along the lines that he didn’t know and the front desk told him it was time. I then explained that the reason we didn’t start was because of the people right before us (he didn’t seem to care), but I wanted him to know that it wasn’t because WE were late. He threw up his hands and said, “I don’t know.” That’s when I said ok and that I would talk to the front desk. The manager was at the desk and I told him what was going on and that Cody had a little bit of an attitude - I really didn’t understand why he had to throw his hands up on the air? I didn’t have an attitude, but let me tell you I felt his frustration and I was shocked because we have been there before and have never had an a situation with him. Anyway, when I came back in, I was talking to my family and Cody decided to come back up and say some thing, “I’m just doing my job.” Not sure why he had to say that? I then said to him well you could have radioed the front desk and asked them. He said “No, I need to keep this line clear in case of emergencies” (cocky attitude) and I said OK. He walked away and then my husband asked what was going on because he had on double ear protection and could not hear, so I told him, but then here comes Cody again (he couldn’t leave it alone). He then had the audacity to say that I look frustrated and he was worried about me having a firearm? Really? Is that what you say to a customer? So at this place, it’s hit or miss. If my stepfather was not a member, I’m not sure if I would come back to tell you the truth. I have taken two classes with C2, one at Tempe which was a great experience with Chris and the one in Scottsdale with Kayla. I thoroughly enjoyed both classes and the instructors. Not looking forward to seeing Cody again.

I have been coming to C2 Tactical since its beginning. I have now been to both locations, One in Tempe and the other in Scottsdale. I have also been using there Gunsmith as well. I would also like to include since going so much I have a membership as well. I hope one day to order a 375 Cheytac one of these days. I have only purchased handguns from them so far. You couldnt ask for a better customer service and friendly staff. Thank you C2

This is a lovely facility. Clean and well maintained. Personnel have been courteous, well informed and always polite. Love using them for maintaining my skills.
