Highly recommend Southwest Garage Doors for any of your garage door needs! I contacted them about issues with my garage door travel limits constantly resetting. Unfortunately, the existing garage door opener was deemed faulty, and it was recommended that I replace the opener. After calling the company who installed the original opener only 7 years ago, and being told they could not get a tech out to the house for at least 3 weeks (and $125 service call), Southwest Garage Doors came to our rescue and replaced our entire unit same-day with a slick new Sommer model at a reasonable price, which we couldn’t be happier with. They also back the warranties on their products and offer to send a technician out on short notice to troubleshoot their equipment for any issues that may arise. 5/5 stars!

I was referred to work with Southwest Garage after telling my neighbor about another garage company that came out and provided me an outrageous quote to replace my opener and tune up my door. I worked with Chase directly to explain my situation over the phone and he confirmed that initial companys pricing was way overpriced. He helped work with my schedule to have his counterpart, Dan, come out and inspect my doors condition while replacing my opener. I was provided a work order/invoice before the visit with clear pricing breakdowns with details of what would be included with each service/item/install. On the day of the install, Dan was very professional and polite and was able to talk me through his recommendations for my door to keep everything in tip top shape. I felt like he was very candid with me and didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary updates. Dan was in and out and and completed the install by making sure to show me all the functions of my opener as I watched it successfully open and close before I signed off on his install work. Overall, this company was amazing and refreshing to deal with good, honest people.

A delivery driver accidentally backed into my beautiful tempered glass garage door shattering 1 panel. I contacted Dan of Southwest Garage Doors and he called me back immediately. Within a day, he stopped by my house to assess the damage. He carefully boarded up the area of missing glass, and special ordered the replacement panel. He was professional, courteous, and easy to reach throughout the process. Does saying Garage Door Emergency sound over the top dramatic? I thought so too, until it was my garage door grinding to a halt with cars stuck. Dan, of Southwest Garage Doors, had worked a full day yet came all the way across Phoenix to north Scottsdale on a rainy, cold, Saturday night. He arrived at 7 and worked non-stop until 9:15. Dan is a combination of artist and engineer as he reconfigured, secured, adjusted, reinforced, realigned brackets and springs and arms and... I used to think a garage door is just a garage door. I never realized the physics behind what we take for granted. Honest, fair, and reliable. He is a man of his word. That in itself speaks volumes.

Just had a full garage door replacement done by Dan. Very professional and a great new system. High quality parts, very honest, punctual, and reliable. Dan wont oversell you on what you dont need and does great work. Short time windows wont have you waiting all day and he does his work very quickly. 5 stars!

Called this company and the estimate was 319 dollars and that was just to get door back on the track only one roller is off if it takes 3 hrs which I doubt thats over a hundred dollars an hr they are not reasonable prices if it needed anything else it was extra WHAT A JOKE

Dan was our service person. He took the time to answer all of my questions about the door and the remote and the wall switch. Things I was never told before (the manual was not provided to us by the builder). Excellent service, observed Coronavirus rules and was on time.

I had Brian from Southwest garage doors come take a look at my broken door that was pinned shut. Same day call they had someone here in a couple hours. He was very professional, fixed the door very rapidly for a fair price. Shortly thereafter I backed my car into one of the rails! I called and asked, can Brian come back? He came back immediately and quickly and inexpensively fixed the rail I damaged. Once again very professional. I felt comfortable trusting Southwest garage with my repair. Im also planning to get my doors completely replaced by them soon!

We assumed our only option was to fully replace the door and motor, but he identified one of the springs was broken which we could have fixed. Given the age of everything, we decided to do a full replacement. I wanted a very specific shaker-style garage door which Dan, the owner, was able to find at a reasonable cost. My garage door spring broke, I called Dan and he had Bryan come out a few hours later that day. I originally was going to have the spring and trim replaced after talking with Bryan I decided it was best to replace the door and motor as well due to age and wavy-ness of the door.Two days later Bryan came back and installed the door and motor. Due to supply chain issues with Covid, they started using Sommer, a direct drive motor unit, couldn’t be more pleased with the install. I also opted for the transmitter that allows you to open/close your garage door from your phone/computer. Initial setup of the transmitter didn’t go so well because the manufacturer lacked instructions but once I troubleshot the issues it worked great. I traveled the next weekend and was able to use/view when my garage door was opened/closed. I plan on adding the camera as well. 5 stars +++

Dan is a consummate professional and a true craftsman.In December I sent Dan a request for a garage door tune up and he responded within 30 minutes. The next day he arrived promptly and spent ample time getting my garage door aligned and tuned. As of today, my garage door continues to work seamlessly.
