This company did an outstanding job for me in the installation of the door that I purchased at Home Depot.When they informed me the door had arrived, I called and we agreed on a date for installation. When the day for installation came, they emailed a tracker app so you could see where the installer was. The installer phoned me when he was about 30 minutes out.The installer was experienced, and knowledgeable and very professional. He really knew his stuff. He answered all the questions I had during the installation.I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs.The only negative I would say was it took several months from ordering to installation to get the job completed. This was not the fault of Legends Garage Door but the result of a manufacturing backlog and the logistics of the delivery.

After speaking with Melissa at the home show this summer we decided to use Legends for our garage door replacements. I damaged the rails earlier in the year and that made the decision to get the new doors we had talked about easier. Melissa came out at the appointed time did her measurements. While we were deciding what to get Melissa became an advisor not a sales person. She made the whole process easier. On installation day David showed up on time, he installed the doors, trails and springs. He even repositioned the sensor where they were supposed to be instead of where they were. He was very courteous and professional.This has been a rather simple process and the change of appearance to the house is wonderful.

Christian was great explaining all the repairs needed. But ultimately decided we would rather have a whole new door installed instead of fixing the current one. Super awesome at explaining all the options of door styles and motors. And also explaining what to expect on the day of install. Looking forward to getting the new door!

Jeff was Professional and HONEST which you don’t get too often in a home warranty subcontractors. He knew the problem right away and took control and repaired what needed to be fixed without adding additional cost to the home owner. It’s so common to always receive an assessment that incur extra costs that is not covered by warranty and is often extended to the homeowner. Jeff just fixed what needed to be fixed and was informative about what to expect in the future and gave great advice. I truly recommend this company to non-warranty homeowners.

Here is my story with this company.. I do not like doing bad reviews, but I am sick of people & companies trying to ripp people off....including me.First off let me tell you I am a repair Tech. My garage door had a issue and would not go up. After a quick look I determined both counterbalance springs were broken.(12 years old) I took a look at some YouTube videos to see the replacement procedure.Not too bad. Probably 2 hours if I took my time. The springs were between $180-$240. I thought why do it?- Landmark home warranty covers springs?Well apparently no one wants to replace Wayne Dalton torquemaster plus Springs. I still have never figured out what the big issue is. It seems like one of the best ways to counterbalance a door between the three methods. Its also way safer than the Springs above the door.Basically after waiting over a week for landmark, they finally sent this guy out and he didnt want to change the Springs whatsoever. No no no, their idea was to charge me $870 on a completely different system.DONT FORGET...LANDMARK WARRANTYS SPRINGS-WITH A $65 CHARGEHe even suggested I replace my (working fine) rollers.They probably could have got the springs cheaper than me!After his $870 upsell pitch, my wife was understandably upset. Then the Tech did tell my wife -you can probably get a friend who is mechanical to replace these springs.I assume his supervisor tells them to UPSELL UPSELL UPSELL!Thanks for trying to ripp me off.. And Landmark home warranty should step up to these guys and say what gives? No they wont do that.It comes down to how much money can we grind out of every single person.My father was a TV repairman. I used to go with him on calls quite a bit in the 70s. Sometimes the TV only needed the red reset button to be pushed in. My father just charged them for driving to the house, nothing more. And if he did fix something he always gave the customer back the defective parts. Thats why he never ever had to advertise. He was honest. I guess those days are over.

Very sad to have to write this review. Ive used Cory and his crew for years and they had been outstanding. Sadly looks like I wont be using them anymore.I recently had the top sprocket that drives the belt on my garage door opener sheer off completely. This requires a complete change of the gear drive assembly. Called up Legends Garage door to have it fixed, and set up an appointment. Confirmed that labor was the $75 service charge and that only additional cost was for the parts themselves. Lady on the phone said that they will waive any credit card charges.Tech arrives and does his inspection. Says he has to talk to the office to give me a price total. Almost an hour later he tells me that the cost is $250 plus a 3% credit card charge. Claims the cost of the gear assembly is $165 alone. If I want to replace the cheap plastic cap that goes over it there will be another $65 in parts. Then tells me that is a cash/check price. If I want to pay by credit card there is another 3% fee.This struck me as extremely high for parts. So, being a little resourceful, I go to the Liftmaster website and see they sell the same parts there. The gear assembly is $30 and the plastic cover is $4. Confirmed with the tech that those were the exact same parts. He said that even though they are a licensed retailer for the parts, a homeowner gets them cheaper. Sorry, but there is no way I should be able to get a cheaper cost than a licensed retailer, much less over 5x less on the gear drive and over 16x less on that cheap plastic cap.I tell the tech that Im fine paying a markup on the parts over retail but not that much. The labor charge is fine as it keeps me from having to do this work in a hot garage, even though the replacement is actually really easy. Asked the tech if he will call into the manager/office and see what can be done. Tech puts around with his phone for over 20 minutes then says Melissa at the office says nothing can be done. Ended up paying the tech for the $75 service call without fixing the unit.So, sadly it looks like Legends Garage Door has lost a longtime customer. Most garage door stuff doesnt need a tech, but it is convenient.Edited to address owners response:I got the parts from the same place you did, which is the manufacturer. Anyone can go to their website and buy the parts. Its exactly what I did as they have an online store. No third party needed. There is zero reason why they would charge you more than me. Less than $35 for the parts and $7 for shipping versus the $230 you wanted. The other local garage door company I just called wants $81 for the parts.This repair is super easy, and I knew beforehand how easy it was. I was willing to pay to not be inconvenienced. I was not willing to throw money away for no reason. The 20 minutes the tech spent texting on his phone trying to wear me down and give in to your pricing is not something you can claim is an actual inspection or safety service.Trying to charge twice for labor is dishonest. You already have a labor charge and a parts fee. Trying to inflate additional labor fees into a parts charge when you have a labor fee already is just profiteering. Your trying to hide your profits while misleading the customer.The real reason there is a cost difference in parts is you build in additional profit that you probably share with the tech. Its not dishonest per se, but you crossed the line into gouging territory. If you would have kept it reasonable (even 2x the retail cost) I wouldnt have been upset. Im a business owner and understand things like markup, inventory management, invoicing and other things associated with running a business. I also understand dishonesty, greed, and why people take advantage of customers.Yes, Im educated and knew beforehand how much this should have cost. I was willing to pay a premium above retail for the parts even, as well as for labor, for the sake of convenience. I was not willing to get ripped off, and treated like a money tree. You got too greedy and got caught.

Our garage door lift spring snapped yesterday. Of course our home warranty company said it wasn’t covered. So called Legend Garage Door in Phoenix this morning and their tech, Arnie, showed up and had it repaired by mid afternoon! New springs, everything adjusted properly...he looked everything over and tweaked what was necessary to make it work and sound better. Very friendly and efficient person! Charged exactly what they told me when I called this morning-no surprises.Five stars for sure!

Our home warranty company got us in touch with Legends Garage Door and I couldnt be happier. Our door was giving us issues which resulted in some theft from our garage last night. We called our home warranty and requested someone come out as soon as possible. We expected 2 days or at best next day. No joke, we called our warranty company at 12 pm. At 1 pm Legends called us and said they would be able to get someone out by 3:30. Our technician Jeff rang our doorbell at 3:11. He was great, he fixed everything, answered every question and even went above and beyond and tuned everything up so it sounds alot better and works better than ever. 5 stars is too little for this company. They should get 10. Even their dispatcher was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I could not be any more happier with this company and the service I got. I had an appointment set up with my home warranty and unfortunately had to reschedule multiple times. Legends was able to quickly reschedule and find the best times for me. They sent over Manny who inspected my garage door and helped me understand the possible causes and potential issues that might occur later on. He got my garage door holding itself back up again and the opener working correctly. It unfortunately broke again shortly after. I called and they quickly sent Manny back out to look again and he replaced everything needed and made sure everything was 100% before leaving. Definitely going call this place again if an issue ever occurs again.
