Do not shop here!!!! They cant even size my watch! If you want people to sell you jewelry and be able to help u with it then you better run!
This is probably not your typical experience with a jeweler, but I had to share this story as a testiment to the type of high quality, dedicated, and caring people who work here.I visited today to get a watch battery replaced. Sean could have sent me away due to the complexity of my watch. Instead, he went the extra mile and showed off his true gifts as a jeweler and as an engineer.This dude is blessed with the steady hands of a surgeon. While performing a successful battery transplant, he had the ability to chat with me and make me happy I chose Kay jeweler today. Needless to say Im a happy customer. Hopefully someone on his team will see this and give Sean the recognition that he deserves.
Highly unsatisfied, one rep ordered me a product stating it would be here in a couple of days it is very important that it is here by a certain day, he said he will call once product is in. A day after the day is promised I call and he is on vacation. The manager then orders a overnight shipment, manager is not in the following day. No communication and customer service needs works. After this order I will not return.
So went to store twice then looked online for 2 more days and finally found something ordered then canceled right away because not in stock, so back to drawing board nothing on line in stock. Then finally found another engagement ring and ordered went through however, next day canceled but pulled money and I have to wait 5 day fir money back. I cant buy anything else until I get money back called customer service and no help. Get it together Kay Jewlers!! Once money back Im canceling!
I bought a ring as a gift and purchased one that was too large. I called two separate Kay stores to ask if they could resize it but was told it would require purchasing a warranty that costs either $50 or $80; somehow the stores had different prices for the same service on the same ring.Ive purchased jewelry from pawn shops for far cheaper that still included free resizes yet buying brand new items from Kays doesnt include this basic service. I ended up going to a local shop that resized another ring for me (my wedding band) that only charged $40 for the resizes. The petty upselling makes this place feel cheap.The only thing good about my service was the gentlemen who helped me order the ring. He was prompt and friendly.
Exceptional customer service by the staff. Their rings usually come with a guarantee and they stick to it. Well done. Were forever Kay Jewelers customers.
I just drove an 40 minutes because I recieved a mailer showing they had 3/8ths carat diomand studs normally priced at $670 for $199. When I arrived they did not have any studs priced at this? Then they proceeded to tell me that those ones in the ad were foggy. Total bait and switch approach.
Very happy with the knowledge and precision of the staff. Despite our current circumstances, they made us feel safe and happy with our purchase. Highly recommend the Desert Ridge location.
I shouldve posted this review awhile ago. I have been going here for years with my fiancé. There are very few stores like this where we feel comfortable and not pressured. We have been to numerous Kay locations and havent been impressed. This location in particular keeps us as regular Kay customers. No matter who we do business with here, each associate is always so helpful and kind. Shawn always knows exactly what we will like. He has great recommendations and is beyond helpful. We are so impressed with this location. We are always are greeted immediately and feel so welcome here. Its on the smaller side to other Kays we have been to but their selection and knowledge is what really makes this location stand out. Great staff, great customer service and its always consistent. Thank you Shawn and staff for helping Mike and I pick out another ring! I absolutely love it!

The staff at the desert ridge kay jewelers is amazing! And the store is always so clean.Every time I stop in and look for new things. The girls are so friendly. The offer every time to clean all my rings and necklaces. They show me all the deals it’s all around a great experience. I never feel pressured to buy. You can tell that the management there is outstanding. A well organized team.
Ignore that Amanda post, Ive been shopping here for About 7 months and they are great. They always offer to inspect my fiancée earrings and engagement rings every time we show up, even go as far as asking how if feels and seeing if it needs to be sized again. The best time I had with them is when I was making payments on a ring that I had put on layaway months prior, they called me and told me that a special sale was going on and that they could refund me my money and then give me the sale price. I saved almost $150 because of their generosity. It may be a small jewelry store, but those guys/gals are amazing. Definitely earned a forever customer.
This place is great! Bought my fiance (now wife) her engagement ring and switched out the center stone for something of better quality, her wedding band and my wedding ring. Manager shawn took great care of us. Wont go anywhere else.
It was outstanding. We were able to have our wedding rings made exactly how we want at a much lower price than other jewelry stores.

One male employee of African American decent was trying to sell me a diamond as was talking very fast he referred to my friends fiancee as my girlfriend. When he ran the financing for credit he told me we were denied. Not only that but he said that the sizing for her finger would be difficult as her finger is not a normal size. He then proceeded to say to my friends fiancee that she was very beautiful looking and asked her what she was doing with him then started laughing. And said just kidding Another employee was wearing dirty very light tan slacks a pink button up shirt and a crooked tie (lol), walking around the store drinking a monster energy drink and walking like a gangster out straight out of Compton. He also didnt notice but his right pants leg was up exposing his socks. When he got near my friends fiancee, and I he gave us a disgusted look. He appeared to be very greasy and smelled of body odor and like french fries. Maybe his 2nd job is at McDonalds? His hygiene was very poor.The entire experience was appalling. Will not return for any reason to this location.
The employees at the store told my wife that her diamond was fake and refused to clean and adjust it. It’s GIA certified and was just confirmed by Ganem Jewelers in Scottsdale to be real. I would not recommend this place as they don’t appear to know what they’re doing.
Well I walked on looking for a ring and they were able to help find what I was looking for with out any problems the staff here was super helpful very knowledgable and deinfinitly kind and understanding
This Kays is the best. I all ways enjoy shopping there.
I have dealt with Jazmyne to get many pieces of jewelry repaired and resized. I am now getting a custom piece made. Awesome customer service at this Facility in Desert Ridge mall in Phoenix : )

My fiancé proposed to me on the 20th of February. I took my ring in the very next day to be resized on the 21st. Took a little of 2 weeks for the resizing. I pick my ring up and leave only to have to return an hour later because no one bothered to check the stones and make sure they were all there and stable. I was too excited myself but its also not my job to think of these things. I was told it would take over another week to have the stone replaced.My fiancé gets a call on the 20th of march to explain to him due to the style ring he purchased and raising the sizes we will continue to have issues with stones falling out but they are willing to have one custom made for me in the style he purchased. Great.What gets me is the amount of time it has taken for this to be communicated to us, and here I am a month after my engagement with no ring. This is the type of stuff you inform the buyer at the time of purchase.This whole experience has be horrible since day one. I am completely unhappy with the service and if I could have it my way and have my fiancé so this all over I would tell him to avoid Kay like the plague and go to Jared.This is unacceptable service. And Im highly disappointed. For all you happy couples looking to take the plunge. Save your self time, aggregation, and frustration, and go somewhere else.Something that should have been exciting and the best time of my life has turned into the complete opposite experience and is ruined for me. Dont be another victim of poor service.
