I am a master Leathersmith and have been shopping at this store for 10 yrs. Erin the store mngr. and her entire crew exhibit the highest standard of professionalism and expertise. They always make sure that I have everything I need (And maybe a little more). They have always gone the extra mile to show me the store specials and clearance items as well. The store is very well stocked and I have rarely ran into an out of stock item. There is a light and upbeat atmosphere and it is enjoyable shopping. They have made me feel revered and like Family. Finding a supply store of this caliber is very rare and being a craftsman I can tell you, treasured. I wont shop anywhere else and I travel 90 miles round trip to do so! This store represents the highest caliber of Leathercrafting Supply and Customer Service !

Very helpful staff helped me decide what I needed for my type of projects. They know their stuff and are happy to help. As with many specialty shops they are a little pricey, but worth the quality and recommendations you Get!

Rude, unprofessional and lacking in knowledge. From the teenager employees, to the verbally abusive purple haired manager that still thinks shes a teenager. The only employe that is helpful all the time is the middle aged guy with long hair. Its a check for the rest of them, and it shows, from customer service, to complaining about how corporate “wont fix the credit card reader”, or how they wont “send them good leather and it breaks theyre heart to sell ppl this crap”Sure its nice to be able to pick up a item quickly during a project, but not worth dealing with the people here.

Love this place! All staff are great. The gentleman with the long hair is so genuine and kind, not to mention very knowledgeable.

Very helpful young lady and good product knowledge. Weird experience with, Im guessing the manager. Long purple hair women with an attitude. Bossy, I didnt see her treat anyone very nice, customers or the young lady working there.She didnt trust the customers ID ahead of me and had to call someone for verification. She was just about as rude to me when I asked about tier pricing. A discount system I used to use at Tandy. I think it was used for customers who bought larger orders and more frequently.For health reasons I had to postpone my business. Now Im starting up again.Anyway, thats the last time at that Tandy Store. Even though its close to my house.It was weird that only three people could be in the store at a time. What, is this Walmart or heavily used store? Haa haaOn line is easier anyway.

Ramon and Ellen and the gang are very genuinely awesome. I enjoy every trip to the store. I am helped and assisted with genuine interest and no sales gimmicks. Such a knowledgeable and courteous staff. I would recommend this location to all leather enthusiast.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I didnt know some of the items I needed but the staff helped me find everything and explained the new items I needed. Im heading back again real soon to this store and the other Phoenix location.

I had no idea what I needed or what to pick and the staff helped me immensely! They were friendly and super helpful. They answered all my questions and even tested some press swatches for me. It was an informative and inviting experience.

This store is very tidy and well organized. The employees were very kind and helpful, sharing their knowledge freely and making sure that I understood the craft questions I had. Love visiting the store while I am here in Glendale seeing my dad and sister. Looking at the other reviews, I saw nothing but 5 stars, so I wonder why the rating was 4.8. Looks like this store rates a perfect 5.0 in my estimation. (New math, I suppose. )

We originally went to Tandy to get some ideas for some projects we were working on. We met Johnny an old timer with 3 generations of leather workers in his family. Johnny spent a lot of time talking to us showing us techniques for leather lacing and braiding that were fantastic. Great guy to talk with. We did buy a few thing but since getting back home we have used what Johnny showed us to turn out some great stuff.

I have been in a few times now and every time I am thoroughly impressed. Great selection of items and fantastic staff. They walked me through my project and helped with the parts I was struggling on. Highly recommend!

Ive done buisness with this location on many of my trips.. Great customer service.. Great quality products. Very casual and very personal. Management is awesome.

The staff at this store are GREAT, theyre always helpful and friendly. You really feel welcomed, they actually want you there. Theyre always willing to try and help you learn new things.

Called to get information about their products and got nothing but negativity and non helpfulness. I would not recommend this place if you need help. Might be ok if you knew what you needed because they dont seem to.

This is the tandy leather I send everyone to now. The ppl in this location actually care about there customers and try there best to help you. Iv been to the one in Tempe and the ppl there are just horrible..

I visit here a couple of times a year and keep enough supplies on hand that I only visit when nearby. The last seversl times store stock has not been good. Like last time they did not have dark brown oil dye. I buy the large size. Had to settle for a small container which will not last long..Ssd.

Sales person was awesome, store is very clean. Also loved the selection.
