Went here for lunch and it was a really great spot. Sandwich was delicious and it looks like they have a great bar set up as well. I will definitely be back.
Just as soon as you walk through the doors you get the family atmosphere and vibe. The house is a historical home.we decided to sit at the bar and immediately Cheryl the owner greeted us like we were very close friends. We had the voodoo chicken sandwich which was the house special. A very fresh and flavorful sandwich. Great selection of craft beers. Offers a very nice patio which is dog friendly.
The Edgemont has fantastic food, warm, friendly staff and a great vibe, daytime or evening! Iโve never had a meal that left me disappointed or still hungry! Itโs an easy place to recommend or bring visitors !
I had lunch here on a whim! Not only is edgemont super cute and stylish all the employees are super kind and there to assist in anyway possible. The food is remarkable and the chai tea is out of this world!
The food was wonderful, I ordered the carver sandwich on wheat and it was amazing that I had to order the other half. The soup was a little on the cold side but still enjoyable. The building itself was very old school, kinda historic; my only complaint would be the location its kinda awkward getting into but otherwise a good experience.
We had a great lunch. The service was fantastic. We sat outside on a really nice outside porch area. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Absolutely disgusted! I got a burger and it was just blood raw!!! I also got a coffee through Grubhub one time and it was awful. Never will be going back here and I recommend everyone stay away ๐คฎ
Definitely a hidden gem in Phoenix. A+ customer service - Bobby made sure our order was ready and delivered to our car for a timely pickup. Food was stellar too. We ordered 2 Docโs Choice sandwiches and they were delicious! Iโll be coming back and will keep them in mind for any future events I need catered.
Showed up on a Togo order. I get there. It says free parking for 15 minutes. Okay, walk in, and they tell me that they just got the order, which was placed over 30 minutes before I got there, and it will be an additional 15-20 minutes. So bot only is my food not ready, I will now have to pay for parking too for their slowness. I take it you dont care, therefore I will not be back. Laugh in my face like my time is not valuable.

I had the pleasure of attending an event that the Edgemont restaurant catered on Tuesday. The food was absolutely tasty and delightful. Id highly recommend supporting local business in central Phoenix its the best kept secret in the neighbourhood.
#Disappointed - maybe they were having a bad day, an off day, maybe the reg crew wasnt working today. 70% of the order was prepared wrong and not as ordered. The photos of the food on the menu are deceiving . All of it unfortunate as we probably wont come back for a 2nd chance. Bagel Lox had maybe a teaspoon of cream cheese on each side. Dr. Skys sandwich was not piled to the moon with the meat - but it was with sauerkraut (which we said none to). So many other things wrong. I dont understand the high reviews but thats why I said it might have been an off day.

Very pleased with the food, the customer service, the pricing and location - so glad to have this spot open up (during a very tough time for them obviously) near my building - it is worth the trip if you are at all close - especially with the quality of food for the price - good variety and they always get my order notes right! The place is quirky. Seat yourself at any of the non matching tables and chairs. Have to go to the counter to order. Food was ok. We had pizza. It wasnt anything special. We also had their bottomless mimosas special. Was a bit annoying the glass was a small champagne glass and we had to go to the counter if we wanted a refill. Overall I probably wouldnt visit again.
This place is seriously good, Ive yet to try a single thing on there menu that I do not like and our office frequents their restaurant. They just expanded their menu and the newly added Tuna Melt is to die for! Do yourself a favor and check them out!!
Great drinks, great food, great atmosphere, and great customer service. I wouldnt take any large parties there if you want to sit together, around 6 or 8 max. Thats literally the only downside to this great place. Inversely its quite comfortable and I could see staying there all night with some friends easily.If you dont give this place a chance then youre just plain not trying hard enough to find good places in Phoenix.
The food is excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Iโm really glad to see some of my favorites make a return again! The owners are also just great and really personable!
Went there when they were having a authors club come in. The place has some great art and a really cool set up. This is more of a lets hang out with the boys or have a work party. Its like a Bar Cafe Bakery Lounge all packed together. Honestly the best combo if you ask me. They have places outside and inside. Its a nice place but they dont have a very big parking lot. The service is great the owner is really nice and down to earth.
This place is amazing! Live music this guys was singing and playing guitar was not too loud. Great atmosphere. Food was the bomb. Not too pricey, average for down town. I would totally tell you to check it out bring friends and just enjoy.
I gave 5 stars. The food was good. The place is adorable.That said, my take away is this...when I walk in to your business, please remember something ..i am not an interruption of your work. I am the reason for it. So check back After you bring the meal. And if Im standing at the end of the bar and you are rolling silverware, I probably need/want something. Stopped by for a late lunch. I ordered the Voodoo chicken salad sandwich and my partner ordered The Carver. Both were very good, although my partner thought his sandwich needed a bit of mustard for his. There was a generous portion of meat on both sandwiches and came with a dill pickle spear and a serving of homestyle potato chips. Nice relaxing atmosphere for a quiet lunch or dinner.
The breakfast pizza was really good. The waffles were also delicious. The spiced apples they put on them are to die for. The strawberries were very fresh as well. We also tried a large piece of coconut cake. It was huge! But it was really moist and good. And the icing was perfect. The patio and outdoor seating is also really inviting and comfortable.
Stopped by while waiting for a friend and was a great vibe! Wish I could have a place like this in our neighborhood. Food and drinks were great... The owner even asked about service... I was impressed!
Had the most incredible Valentines Day meal here. Everything was extremely well thought out and executed perfectly. From the special heart decor for the table, to the seemless experiences of all courses. Everything tired together perfectly and paired so nicely. This place always feels like you are โcoming homeโ for some good food, friendly banter, and all around good wholesome people. Thank you for a magical evening.
The owners are great! I use to go to their old spot Hob Nobs. I miss some of items from Hob Nobs but I understand change is good.
This place was wonderful. Food was good and we received a free meal due to one of our party members being a veteran. Place was perfect for conversation. All staff was friendly and had cute additional items for sale.
This is a great spot! We usually stop here when we have family & friends from out of town. The food is good and the staff is always nice. A couple times Iโve been here when theyโve had live entertainment, and I generally try to avoid that. Itโs a very small place and the sound system is usually a bit too loud to carry a conversation over the music.
Hob Nobs is great! They have love names there occasionally, local art, yummy food, delicious coffee and local beers. My favorite thing on their menu is the breakfast pizza. The owners are so nice and the employees are too. They have an awesome patio too. This place is great for groups too because you can pay at the counter and then they bring you your food.
An adorable little place. We dropped by for a quick dessert before a show, they had a fun selection of desserts and cocktails, plus coffee drinks if your into that sort of thing. The brownie we got was big enough for 2 to share and quite delicious. If love to come back at some point to explore their food menu which was extremely interesting.
The food, the atmosphere, the service, it all deserves 5 stars and more. Thanks to the kind gentleman behind the counter this morning for suggesting a great beer to go with our food. It all went together so well. Had the pastrami sandwich with a pepperoni pizza, it left us full in a non heavy way. He then suggested a slice of coconut cake which smelled as great as it tastes. Going to frequent this place more and more. Sad it took me 4 years to come by.
Loved this cute little place but you might have to plan your route early as parking is tough and its by a one way street. I had an amazing pizza with avocado and a balsamic strawberry reduction. It was delicious!! I added some chicken. I recommend it! Also the tuna Sammy was delicious. Definitely a cozy family vibe and they had live music!!
Had to edit my previous 5 star review from when I got take out. The food is good but realize before I give 5 star reviews, I need to be a customer inside. I keep 2 stars just based on good food from previous order.Was not acknowledged as I sat at counter waiting for a cup of coffee & a menu. After several minutes a customer approached counter wanting refills on mimosas. While I stared at the owner/manager filling the glasses, giving someone service after I sat in front of him several minutes without a hello, he asked if I wanted unlimited mimosas. I smiled and said no thank you but would love a cup of coffee. He stared at the employee who was helping customers, & went back to paperwork while I sat there 3 more minutes wondering if I will ever get that cup of coffee & menu. Nope.... ended up kindly leaving after sitting there 9 minutes. Will never be back. And I live 1 block away & have ordered take out 5 times in 10 days.

LOVE this spot! Cozy seating and quite corners. Saddle up to the bar for a pint of local brews. Incredible coffee and espresso available morning, noon, or night. Staff Super happy & friendly, even remembering me and welcoming me back! Service Super ๐! I just wish there was one more support staff, as the line can take a while. Still, I spend hours here writing, reading, it has a very creative vibe about it. Covered patio with Lots of tables spaced out for a more private feel. Full menu, full cafe, full bar Hob Nobs has something for everyone!
I love this place! I hadnt been in a few years but it was exactly how I remember it and that feels great to return to a place and it deliver in the exact same way!Staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Quality is great and the atmosphere is so relaxing but energetic!
What a magical little gem. Its not often that I find a place Im reluctant to share with others. Particularly when the following increase of patrons makes it harder to enjoy the venue, but Hob Nobs deserves commendation. The lunch hour at the time of my arrival were comfortable, not cramped. The patio is wonderful. The table spaces and furniture seating is relaxing. Youll want to stay for a while, especially if you carry a computer everywhere like me. Specialty coffee drinks, bar drafts, and common food fare makes it a nice little place to chat or work. And be courteous to others if you go, as there is a mixture of both. Definitely recommend.
Unique, little cafe with a living room/dinning room at home vibe. The staff were so sweet! I went for brunch which was great price. My breakfast omelet & the endless mimosas were REALLY GOOD and FRESH!! I will definitely be going back.

This old house turn Cafรฉ used to be called the wheelhouse. It was a place I was famously known for its open mic poetry night. It was a huge hit in a huge scene for mini mini years. The talk as you type feature said mini instead of many.Hobnobs is a cool place so I I am not going to knock it but a lot of people probably still miss that Willow house

I have been going to Hob Nobs for a few years. The food & beverages never disappoint. I love the warm welcome and the family atmosphere.We brought our Moms for Mothers Day today, and it was their first time. They were giving a long stem rose to all moms, making it extra special! Everyone loved the experience as much as we always do!
Been coming to Hob Nobs for a couple of years. I really like their breakfast sandwich and it looks like they have added many other items to the menu. This is a great space to hang out, do some work, have meetings or just enjoy the great food. Like others have mentioned, food is sometimes a little slow and parking is limited but the service and taste really makes up for it. Also, look at this amazing patio:
Lunch was little busy indeed. For what weve ordered it was nice dishes proportions food was delicious and I helped us tremendously friendly. Parking is very limited so if youre already parked Downtown Phoenix. Its a quaint little walk remind you it is on the corner literally been sitting outside. Nice little good place for a luncheon.

Nice restaurant-in-house venue with large drink menu and assorted semi-healthy eating options. It still has lots of meat but a few vegetarian choices. I didnt see anything vegan except maybe the oatmeal unless its made with milk. They do serve breakfast all day.They apparently have weekend brunch and an omelette bar but no prices posted anywhere for these.Lots of seating options. As it cools off, the patio with bar looks super neat. Staff very friendly.
Have you ever bitten into a sandwich and was immediately like, damn, thats good? Thats what youll get at Hob Nobs. Every dish Ive ever tried there, those exact words came from my lips. Not only that but the drink specials are always creative and yummy and you cant go wrong with trying out their cookies... Delicious!Its a good dining atmosphere. The restaurant is in an old historic building that is very unique and everyone is really friendly there. Im always recommending Hob Nobs to my friends.Other noteworthy attributes: they have an awesome special for veterans (kudos to them!) and its a great place for social meet up groups.

Casual bar with food and live music on weekends, Hob Nob blends nicely in the colourful Roosevelt district.Order at the counter from a menu that can please carnivores and vegetarians. Sandwiches are tasty and filling. Service staff is quite pleasant and efficient. Prices are $, very reasonable.
The food was quite good but the service was terrible. I walk in and sit at the bar for almost ten minutes before the bartender asks if I need a menu....(um yeah what do you think Iโm doing here?) I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich which like I said, was very tasty and I liked the bread they used. The lady next to me said she waited one hour for her tuna sandwich which was something to me because I wouldโve walked out after waiting 20 minutes
This is a great, homey place to dine and relax. They have a decent beer selection and basic liquors- dont expect craft cocktails, but they can make the basics. A small selection of food can also be found here, all of which is done really well. The weekends are the best. They do a Create-Your-Own-Omelette bar and serve the worlds best cheesy breakfast potatoes on the side. You can also get bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Come check it out!
I go here once every two weeks, love the live music and food. The staff are wonderful and its definitely a family place. All 3 of my kids come and love it as well.
Weird experience. Place in the pictures is not where Google says it is, it is NOT at 2800 N Central in Phoenix.Called up to find out where it really is, because I wanted to check it out based on the reviews, and the owner (Iโm assuming) was acting sketchy, said it wasnโt open yet and wouldnโt say where it was, or would be, located.Notified Google thereโs no such place.Just odd. I wonโt tell you to stay away as there is no place to go!
Very reasonable food prices (and bottomless mimosa options on weekends), service was super friendly and great!Food quality was overall very good, portions were a hair small but very much in line with their moderate pricing. Would 100% recommend checking them out if anywhere near the area, for breakfast or dinner alike.

Cozy, comfortable setting. Tasty food. A little expensive, but ok for an occasional stop. They had live music. Id be comfortable bringing my kids to eat here, but they only have 3 kids meal options. It was perfect for meeting friends for brunch to catch up.
I was here once on a Monday and thought it was a friendly place with good food. There was nice outside seating. My cousin liked it too and she was not crazy about coming to downtown Phoenix. But I think Phoenix won her over. This place sure helped. You have to park in the neighborhood as there is no parking at this restaurant. I love this area.
Wow, I am amazed! I wrote the review below and yet no response, business as usual. I see the owner responded to positive reviews, but not to negative ones. What does that tell you? If You have a bad experience, tough, they do not care. If they did, they would say something to the ones that did not have a good experience. Have been in customer service for many years, you always address concerns. This just reinforces their practice of not caring.The food that I finally received there was okay, but we had to eat so quickly we could not enjoy it. Myself and a friend went there for lunch and got there at around 11:20 am. We were there before most people would go there and believing we would beat the crowds. We went in and found that you could sit wherever you like but had to order up at the front. So we went up to order, I asked for the voodoo chicken salad which is one of their Specialties, and was informed they dont have that. Then I looked over the menu while my friend ordered, asked if they were out of chicken and was told no, wasnt real thrilled with what I saw, but I finally thought Ill try the Plantation chicken salad. They were out of that one too. Again, we were there before any crowds had hit. Finally, I ordered the Greek salad, with chicken. Then I sat down and waited for the food. My friend also ordered a salad, the cobb salad. We waited for over 45 minutes to receive our food. I had gone up once and asked where were the food was as we were on a lunch hour and needed to be able to have time to eat. They said they had catering and other phone orders that came in, so they were really backed up. If you are getting that much business from outside, why dont you lock the doors and keep people from coming in? Why would you not tell the people its going to be a little while for their food? We were not told this when we came in. When we finally got our food, as I said above, we had to Wolf it down. What a very unpleasant experience, I still have to call them as they didnt even put the chicken on my salad, and they charge me for it. With the way we were treated there and with the way that was run, I will not go there again nor will I recommend this to anybody.
Best thin sliced roast beef sandwich I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is homey and chic at the same time. Service is friendly almost family like in the welcome we received. We make it a point to visit Hob Nob several times during our stays in the Phoenix area. If you have not stopped by, make it a point to get there for a wonderful dining experience.
The bartender, whom I believe may have also been the G.M., didnt catch her name, was fantastic. Attentive, not pushy or scarce. Decent beer list, the bites smelled amazing, but I wasnt there to eat. The place is cozy, perfect place for a speak easy, chess tournament, or open mic. Go a little later on the weekends, its slow early evenings.
This place is amazing! Great food, drink selection and wonderful staff. Not sure but I think her name is Katie. Either way, shes never in a bad mood and always welcoming. They make you feel like youre a regular, even of its your first time. The owners are really nice too. This place is clean, great art and fun events that no one else has like the science guy.
The prices here are very decent. The staff is friendly. This establishment has an urban feel to it. I always feel welcome and the customer service is AMAZING. They remember your name or at least your fave. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Also, they have a pretty awesome and diverse crowd on Tuesday Nights :-)
One of the best, if not the best, sandwiches Ive ever had. First timer and will definitely be returning. And if youre wondering, I had the Carter sandwich! I got lucky to find a parking spot because its a small lot, but I will struggle in the future to park here. Its that good.

This is a great neighborhood spot! The omelette bar is the BEST I have ever had. I wouldnt recommend the bottomless mimosas as they are pre-made and too sweet for my taste. It has a great and cozy feel inside and its a great spot for a beer and a game or to take the kids over to relax, eat and hang out. Cant wait to explore more of the food and drinks!

Got here just after 8am and its now 8:53amStill no food. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ the coffee is weak and they have the cutest coffee bar too! What? Its only for show and tell??No sense of urgency or concern that our food is taking foreverrrrrr. Ugh. Its now 9am no food. Sorry guys, such a disappointment.
This place is friendly, and has such a great variety of adult beverages. It was relaxing to enjoy live music on the patio with a bowl of soup. I love the art on the walls too. Definitely a spot worth visiting in Phoenix.

I came in to meet friends. Looked at the menu and I went to order their roast beef sandwich. As I come up it said at the register If youre a veteran we have a surprise for you. I let them know and they offered me a free meal. I cordially declined and just asked for them to pay it forward. The food was amazing the service was great and the atmosphere was comforting. Great place to go and have a drink and food and feel welcomed. Definitely will tell more people about this great place.
This has been my favorite place for breakfast for so long but this experience was so bad that Im writing this. We came early, no one else here and it took so long for our food. All the food was cold, waffle, breakfast sandwich, sons oatmeal was lukewarm. Appears to be some new staff but the young seemed very disinterested in being helpful. Im hoping this is a one off.
First time here and I really enjoyed the food and the building itself. The lady working the counter was not very friendly and seemed to be irritated that my bf and I did not know exactly how it worked as for counter service or table service. I also asked about renting the space for a private event to which she was not knowledgeable on. She offered a card but never came back with the card and again seemed irritated when I asked for it before leaving. Overall, bc of the food and the space, I will be back however the staff could be more inviting.

Theres supposed to be a leather event tonight, but I feel like an outcast here in my leather. The staff seems uninterested in non regulars, and the menu is scattered and unclear. Nice decor, though.Update: Event started late; Ended up being really fun. Staff was friendly as night went on. Earlier mood must have been the rush of customers.

Would have given it 5 stars just because of the ambiance but I had to deduct 1 star for slow service. Ordered 2 green teas and it took over 15 minutes. They seemed to have an unusually large number of people but it still shouldnt take that long. Also, parking is sparse. Live music was going on Tuesday when we went. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.
