I dealt with Dave, I think he just got out of jail and now calls this place a real business but the truth is there are many health concerns about this place. Also I went in there asking for a cool tiger, kind of like McGregor has on his belly, but I wanted one on my leg. The ink work leaves a lot to be desired. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about Greywash Tattoo. I have an appointment elsewhere to get laser removal and hopefully somebody can cover this up. He refused to accept any responsibility for this! My skin my problem were his exact words!I see litigation with me and Dave in the near future. I caution anyone thinking about visiting this place, Dont Do It! I promise you, ANY other tattoo shop in Phoenix will treat you better.

Great shop! George Barron did an amazing job with my tattoo. I wanted Haku from Spirited Away with geometrics and his design beat my expectations. It is my favorite tattoo that I have!

All the artists, as far as I’m concerned, are private contractors (meaning that they are kind of their own boss). This is perfectly fine but just know that if anything happens or something like that, David (the owner last I checked) is very professional and takes the clients opinions to heart. The bad reviews can be a little scary but don’t knock it till you tried it, I didn’t and now I have a badass tattoo and my girlfriend has a killer piercing.

I wish I could have given this place 5 stars but they are a 1 star operation! It all starts with management and good customer service, this tattoo shop lacks both. If a human gives up their skin to this place that is a pretty serious risk, and when it goes bad who do you turn to? The boss/owner/tattoo guy does not even respond to complaints. They ignore complaints and just think the situation will go away. If only they had taken responsibility and responded this could have all been avoided. A note to all future people looking for tattoos and piercings please just go somewhere else. They use Cashapp, venmo and Square so you know this is amateur hour, really bad energy and bad vibes here. Whatever you do, do not get a piercing at this place.

Love this shop! The artists are friendly and they take amazing care of their clients! Especially Jorge (George Barron)! He has been awesome and has done tattoos for me and my man. I got tattooed by George in the summer of 2020, and it was a 10/10 experience. He gave me his undivided attention the entire time, and was super considerate with my time and budget. I absolutely loved his work and it was totally worth every cent! George was super understanding with what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back again.

George is amazing! I originally went to him asking for more detail on some boring tattoos done by a different tattoo artist at a different location. He nailed it! Now hes working on a large piece for me. Besides being extremely talented, hes a blast to talk to too.

George Barron has incredible attention to detail and is very professional! He did some small birds and a cross on my temple. People are constantly telling me that they normally despise face/head tattoos but that the one he gave to me is incredible with all the little details and the placement. You have to really trust a guy to let him tattoo your face, and I trust George. I have felt uncomfortable in the past with previous tattoo artists being too flirty or making the situation awkward and uncomfortable. George is very professional and focused on his work and will make you feel right at home.

George Barrons did a tattoo for me in May 2020. I had an idea of what I wanted, but wasn’t sure of how it would best be carried out. He was great with helping me come up with a design I wanted, and he made sure I didn’t feel pressured to get a design I wasn’t sure of. Once I decided on the tattoo, he helped me with choosing the best placement. Overall a great experience and I love my tattoo!

STabitha is the BEST! I took my 9 year old to her for her 1st ear piercing and she was so patient, kind and comforting especially when my daughter hesitated on getting her second ear done. But she was AMAZING! My daughter loves her piercings and has had NO ISSUES with healing! STabitha will forever be my piercing girl and I recommend her to anyone especially for those new young kids that want theirs done! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Jane is amazing! Ive been wanting to get a tattoo from her since January but that has to be put off. She is the best tattoo artist Ive been to. Not only is her detail work amazing, she is a great person to just chat with. Made me forget I was getting a tattoo. Just felt like I was chatting with a friend. At one point I actually fell asleep, which is testament of her caring feel.I will definitely be back for more tattoos from her as soon as possible.

The staff is wonderful the shop is clean. We needed percing checked and sized as the peice fell out months ago. We spoke with David and he was very professional and seemed very trustworthy. He directed us to his piercer Tabby, she took my wife right back checked the hole and got it sized appropriately. We were in and out in a matter of minutes. I had time to take a look at some of the artists portfolios and was very impressed with the artists at the shop. 10 out of 10 would use again.

Jorge (George) is a phenomenal artist and very professional. Ive had more than half a dozen sessions with him and I cant say Id go to anyone else... unless a design I wanted is too far from his art style. That being said, Id still stick with Greywash. Ive met every one of the artists and staff including the owner, theyre all great, friendly and professional.Highly recommend Jorge and Greywash!

This tattoo studio has a chill/friendly atmosphere and is sanitary! My tattoo artist was George Barron and he was awesome to work with! He listened to all of my requests and made my tattoo better than I could imagine. In my experience, he had informed me of things that he thought would make my tattoo look better in the long run, so he keeps your best interest in mind, but will ultimately let you choose whether or not you take his advice; so no pressure with him. All in all, he is very customer oriented, thus making sure that the tattoo that he designs fully satisfies you. George is also very friendly and funny; really knows how to keep up a good conversation so that there won’t be an awkward silence for a whole couple of hours. I will definitely be going back to him for my next tattoos!

GreyWash Ink is one of the best tattoo places in town!! I’ve known the owner for a long time and he’s extremely talented!!! I have multiple pieces done by David, he’s also the owner. I’m not just being nice because he’s a friend of mine either. He is an incredible artist, I trust him enough to do freehand tattoos and give him ability to be open creatively when he’s tattooing me. I’ve never walked out after a session and been disappointed in the creativity in his artwork. He’s amazing when it comes to transferring my ideas into beautiful pieces of art work that I get to wear for a lifetime. He’s got major skills when it comes to tattooing, he’s got a very special gift. I haven’t allowed anyone else to tattoo me since he did his first piece on me and it will stay that way until I run out of room on my body or he’s done tattooing. The shop looks great and he’s got a lot of great talent working in the shop as well! The energy in the place is great, the art on the walls is beautiful!! Very clean shop. Friendly people with various styles of art. Ive looked at each artists portfolio and they do some amazing tattoos. Jane did great matching tattoos on my wife and her sister. Reccomend that you get any of their artists work on something custom for you of you are looking for some great ink. Not recommended to try and get quotes over the phone. In person consultation is always the best for placement and to make sure you get what you want, its also easier for the artist to see the area you are looking to get tattooed. Awesome shop, stop by and get some ink!
