The guys who work here are awesome! This week with moving was legit hellish, and it wasn’t until I was 95% done moving that we realized I underestimated how much stuff I have and needed a bigger unit. Rob made processing the switch to a bigger unit SO easy. I can honestly say this place and the people here were the easiest and most reassuring part of my move. Highly recommend!

Rob and his team are great. The facility is clean and there are plenty of carts to make move in a breeze. We have used both the Temple and Frankfurt Rd locations and I would highly recommend both!

The staff here are really cool, straightforward, polite, and helpful. And the place is definitely secure. I feel safe storing my belongings here. Its super easy to unload in the car port and Ive never been without a cart to use for my things like I have at some other storage facilities in the city. The only complaint I have is their operating hours. On weekdays they close at 7pm and weekends between 5 and 5:30pm which I think is too early since if theres no staff on duty no body can be in the building. But thats what makes it so secure and definitely plays a part in reducing break-ins so its a small price to pay. Maybe they can add another employee and extend the hours a smidge in the future, either was its still a 5 star business!!

Ok, this place is pretty sweet. Just rented a unit and I love that I can drive into the dock. So close to home. Super happy!

Best place to rent storage in the walking distance of the city of Philadelphia. The hours of operation makes it safe and secure. This place has great deals and offers at times online, do your research and you might end up getting a steal. Friendly staff, they make sure you know and see what your renting. No hidden fees. Making online reservation recommended, prices do not change.

There was three people that I really like to take the time out to compliment that was very helpful with my journey to becoming a new safe Self Storage customer first is call center Ms.Juniata second was Ms Tameka Customer service & last but not least Mr.Christian the assistant manager.Everyone was awesome very polite in helpful I knew exactly what they was doing!!!

When I originally rented they were open till 9pm and had a huge dumpster. They promoted the evening hours as a reason to rent. But now they close really, really, early, do I have a hard time finding a convenient time to access my stuff. And now that my unit is full and I want to purge they replaced the large dumpster with a tiny locked dumpster that renters arent allowed to use. I dont have a car, so that makes getting rid of stuff near impossible. The rent goes up astronomically each year and Im now paying more than double what it was when I originally rented it (and double the cost of a new unit) for a much less convenient space. Storage is a scam.Also its infested. Mouse droppings ruined my sofa and there are cockroaches. People store food there and it is tolerated by management.Youd think theyd appreciate my loyalty since Ive been renting a while, but all they care about is fleecing me.My advice: dont ever put anything in storage, and definitely not here. Its not worth it. Purge now and have way more money and less hassle later.

I signed up online where there numerous deals for storage units, and decided to upgrade to a larger storage area, because I had more items than I realize. The staff onsite (James) was great, and walked me through the entire process with lots of patience, and great customer service skills. I left Safeguard Storage with a good deal, and would reccomend them for all your storage needs. Its clean, well lit, and Safe.

I love the fact that to enter the building after hours – patrons have a key-less entry to enter the building, each storage owner is provided with their own unique entry scanner code.Facility is secured by CCT to provide the ultimate security for all of their storage customers. Customers’ key code is also used to access the two service freight elevators; this provides an extra layer of security and peace of mind.Safeguard also has an efficient number of pest control/rodent devices to help protect each floor – to battle against any unforeseen infestation. It is a well know fact – which mice love to hide and nest in dark and tight spaces, so the addition of these devices give customers an added layer of security.I love the fact that – you have until 10:00PM to access and take out personal items; although 9:45PM is the advised time to finish packing and unpacking of personal items.Pros: Friendly and supportive staff. Spacious parking interior, rest two large vehicles comfortably. Easy access connection to public transportation. Well lit exterior areas. Additional parking space located on the side of the building. Rates for mid-size and larger storage units reasonably priced in comparison to what is included in the monthly storage fee.

A++ Storage place, Ive stored belongings at many other places over the years and Safeguard by far is the cleanest and most convenient to access. Staff is very helpful and always in an upbeat mood and willing help with any questions or issues. Very secure building with many units varying in size to little, medium, & large. Great safe place to store those belongings that arent able to be stored at home or anywhere else.

I love to give credit where its due. This place is wonderful, and its really due to the fact that they have such a wonderful staff. They treat people with courtesy and professionalism. I dont want to rent space at any other place :-)

I tried this storage facility and it was great. If the was a problem with my unit, they alerted me right away. The rates are fair.... had a good experience their. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs one.

So far I have had a good experience with Safegard Self Storage each time Ive had to use them. Polite, courteous people and great service. Clean units. I recommend them to anyone who may need storage space.

Items, albeit heavy, were thrown haphazardly by staff when I requested help moving in and out. otherwise, no complaints. Items were stored with no signs of mildew or pests, which can be a common problem in ur an storage spaces. prices are reasonable

The special was a great opportunity for me to get a cheaper storage unit (WITH ONE MONTHS FREE RENT). I was on a serious budget and did my research before hand about the prices and even visited the store ahead of time to speak with Kevin, the first manager. He assured me that prices are as listed online and that if I didnt want to pay an extra $10 for the insurance, I didnt have to. When I went back to the site that following Sunday, Bob told me clear as day straight to my face that I could not get the unit unless I got the insurance. He told several lies to my face trying to justify his stance. So, I left out and called the corporate office. I was told that it was not required by the company that their customers purchase insurance. I went back inside and he was singing a different tune. Still tried to get me to purchase the insurance, but this time when I said I dint want it, he dint deny me service. Moral of the story, always get a second opinion.Other than that, this storage site is a 4 out of 5 hands down. Maybe even a 4.5.

Kevin at the Philadelphia Broad Street office had by far the greatest customer service Ive experienced. The units were easy to rent, and affordable, everything about the lease was simple and straight forward, HIGHLY recommended.

I need a storage unit for a couple months and there are several choices in the area. I chose this one partly because it advertised 99 cents for the first FULL MONTH rent. Also, it advertised a 4th floor 10x5 unit for $109. Instead the 99 cents was used for my initial pro-rated month (so thats another $25 that I lose) and I was told my monthly rate would be $126 after all the fees & taxes were included. Additionally, there are lots of other add-on charges, like the $22 admin fee, the $10 required keyfob and the $16 required cylinder lock (you cannot use your own lock). So even my 99 cent charge rose to $58. And I honestly have no idea what the actual cost will be for next month.The staff was very friendly and explained why I had to pay for all the extras but I hate companies that advertise some special discount or rate to get you in the door and then pile on all the hidden charges. To me its just another form of bate & switch.In the future, I will not rent from Safeguard again.

Ive been using safeguard storage since 2016 the price is a little high but they are at a convient location thats why Im still using them until I find a cheaper storage company.
