This place is lit! It has a wide variety of wines and it give you history too. the wine store not only has your new favorite wine, but also a dedicated separate display with information about the region it came from! The staff are also so nice here!

Same great place as always. Sometimes have nice deals & coupons, so check online before buying. Always go for the Liquor lottery for the rare stuff, and never be afraid to ask if they have any limited release or in-house picks for interesting bottles. They have an entire floor of stock downstairs the same size as the main display floor!

Reasonable selection of wine and various liquor. Didnt see any beer. So maybe I missed it. Prices seemed okay. Im neither blown away or disappointed. It was just ok

Great selection that you’d expect from a wine a spirits even though the store is smaller than most. Everything in the store is clearly labeled so you can find what you need easily. Since it is a smaller store it does however get very crowded and you seem to wait in line for a long time even if there are only 4 people ahead of you since there is typically one clerk at checkout.

When they opened I heard the angels singing!! Finally a place that is close with a decent selection. Be sure to buy Uncle Nearest whiskey its amazing along with the service at this location. Always smiles😍

That store line was long and outside. 5 ppl at a time, but there were two registers open so it wasnt a very long wait.

I think that for liquor, this is probably the best store in Philadelphia. Even though some other locations are bigger, this store seems to have the best curated selection of brands, including a great deal of bottles that you cannot find anywhere else in Philly. The PA liquor stores are definitely mediocre at best, but this one is the best of the worst, so to speak. The staff here are also generally friendly, which is more than I can say for may other locations.

Great wine selection

Its a small store but it has a good variety. The aisles are also wide enough for distancing. Please note they technically have one way signs on the floor but I only noticed towards the end of my visit but it wasnt crowded so it was fine that time. The cashier was friendly. They had my favorite rosé which is a hit or miss no matter where I go so thats a plus lol.

The store is fine. Nice selections. They need more employees up front at the to Check-Out counter. Line was really long at 4:30 PM, which is prime time rush hour when people are getting out of work in Center City. Only 2 cashiers were Open and the lane to walk-up to in front of the check-out counter is really tight since you are walking behind other people checking out at their register.. So if you have more than 1 or 2 bottles of wine, be careful as you squeeze by the counter. Weird set-up for the check-out counter.

For a very small footprint store its got a reasonable selection.

It wasnt crowded. They had alot of stuff. Some ite.s they were out of due to COVID19. All in all I was pleased.

Its a decent store. Because of its location it has a higher level of product.. However, its still a state store and the employees are a little like the DMV staff. They do have a few people who know about wine and spirits but its like a private store.

I love going to this store. It is a bit small but it has everything I like. I crack up every time when I walk past the section where there are $2500 bottles of wine. Its never really busy and if it is the lines go quickly!!

Huge selection of wines from extremely affordable ($7) to more luxury ($60). Staff is pretty indifferent but in a good way. Also they have wine-to-go which is the best travel wine, thank me later.

Any other retail business run like the PLCB would have been out of business long ago. Prices are high, selection is terrible, and customer service... if you welcome inattentive & surly - by all means shop here.

This is one of the newest locations in Philadelphia, and the staff are incredibly helpful. Always delightful to make a trip in.

I am THRILLED there is a new Center City Wine & Spirits store. In my visits so far I have found the staff to be quite courteous or, at the very least, efficient. Generally I havent been hit with long lines. Id say twice since this place opened earlier this year I have visited when the lines were rather long, but I will say they move fast- faster than the W&S on Chestnut by the Target, imho. I do wonder if this place is still a little lesser known than some of the others, and will the lines continue to grow as word gets out? Maybe, maybe not: time will tell of course!

I go to this place whenever I need to buy booze in Philly. They have a pretty decent selection and their prices are in accordance with the price of everything in center city Philly. The things I buy here usually get people drunk so they do their job. I just cant always find the particular alcohol Im looking for here.

Amazing selection. Whiskey & wine is curated well and offers rare items (theres a solid wine specialist). If youre from NYC or U.K., shop here when in Philadelphia. Theres tastings on site too I think.

Great selection of premium wines and an admirable whiskeys. They have a locked wine fridge for the more pricey and rare stuff. They also do free wine tastings every Thursday and friday from 4 to 6.

Such a great location and wonderful staff, especially that cashier named Dave. He really helped me out and was quite funny! Make sure to stop by for a tasting on Thursday or Friday between 4-6 pm, Im always there!

Local liquor store. Whats not to like? Prices are comparable. I just might not purchase alcohol enough to know this for sure, however, I feel that there arent as many sales at this location than what I see at others.
