Nice clean but no sanitizer for food carts

This store is great.Lidl has excellent prices and great products. The meat is especially good. Occasionally the vegetables are hit and miss.The store is always clean and has a call parking lot (unlike most grocery stores).

Love the fresh pastry they have, the produce hearts you at the door and I can always find what I need. The app is a helpful tool for finding digital coupons and knowing whats on sale. The store was bright, clean and well stocked. Staff was polite and aware of where things. Treat yourself to a pretzel bun for your next hamburger (or turkey burger) experience

My new go-to grocery store! the selection of brands and options isnt huge like a standard big-name grocery store but their much more affordable prices, high quality produce, and chill atmosphere makes it worth it. highly recommend!

Great store in terms of grocery options. The people that work there on the other hand, I could hear them cutting up and screaming across the store. When we cant get through an isle because workers are messing around and being obnoxious then your store has a problem. We legit stood there for a few minutes waiting for them to stop playing around so we could pass through the isle but we ended up turning our cart around because they didnt even acknowledge that there were customers trying to get through. It was actually embarrassing to see adults acting that way.

Love This store. It’s nice and neat, everything is very organized, many great Finds at amazing prices. So happy it’s finally made it’s way to Philadelphia! Will be shopping here weekly. One of my favorite things here are the fresh croissants, sour dough bread, toothpaste, salmon, Parmesan cheese And a lot more. Everyone Please check out this store. Great store great items however they have security checking receipts at the door? Close the store if you cant trust customers/guests thats how I feel, Its not a big box store its a supermarket and after I pay at register I dont wanna be treated like a thief at the door👎👎

Overall I find this store has quality groceries and at affordable prices however, they are often completely out of sale items which is disappointing. Along with chicken this week, they were out of mangos and baguettes advertised in their circular and this isn’t a one time occurrence.

First time i have been inside this supermarket. Have a nice seafood selection. Everything from fresh cookies to fresh bread. Fruit selection on point. Will be back to shop again.

Very good products, mainly the food, mostly organic with reasonable prices.

Not bad. Kinda like an upgrade from Aldis. Got a crazy random things section. That was the best part to me. And super cute shopping carts for the kids to help us with shopping.

This was my first time in this store and it wasnt the best experience. The steaks seemed to be on the last day. The lunch meat was discolored and obviously bad and still out for sale. There was only 1 register open and its a holiday weekend. I dont get how stores have more people stocking shelves then cashiers. Get the customers out then worry about the shelves. There has to be a balance because having people standing in long lines waiting to checkout is ridiculous.

The store has enough selection. They havent has Spring Water Cases 16 ounce in over a month. Thats unacceptable. The checkout lines get too long before they open another checkout line. I asked the manager but he looked at me and did nothing. I left a full cart in line and went home.

This place has now became my go-to. I used to frequent a lot of other groceries stores going from store to store to get the best saving on all the different household items. Nowadays I only ever go to Lidl to get my groceries. The prices are cheap, but the quality of the food is way above some stores I have been to in the past. Their savings are great and their membership includes an app that gives you even greater savings on a weekly base.

Got rejected from the job as a cashier cause it was my first time in lidl. I have experience in supermarkets but got denied. Yet they need people . Im so confused..

The only place I shop for my fresh fruits and vegetables. The frozen food is not really good but the prices are good. Remember to bring your own bags.

I was very happy with this new grocery store. They have different and unique foods that I have not found elsewhere. The prices were great and lots of things I normally shop for had much lower prices than my regular supermarket. I loved all the store brand food I tried and I cant wait to go again! Highly recommend!

Certain things seem reasonable but others are so overpriced. Cheap bananas but expensive salads...its all about what you want. I will go again. 😊UPDATE: I GO TO LIDL 3 TIMES A WEEK. LOVE THEIR STORE!

Its ok low end grocery store. German company similar to Aldis but a little nicer. Ample parking. Avoid the produce. Low quality produce.

There app was so hard to use. We never were able to get what was on sale. I dont think we will be back.

Not fair to rate them. First visit, looking for a specific item which they did not have. Left without purchasing anything, but I would go back and really check the place out.

I dont think Ill be back. Very limited offering, confusing layout and staff who just didnt care. Many staff were just milling about the store, I had to go around staff several times to try and social distance. Security guard was just hanging out texting while leaning on dump bins. Rude check out staff kept badgering me about using apple pay so she could ring up the next customer. I was bagging groceries at the time. She didnt care, didnt help, just kept the conveyor belt running. The more I think about it,.... yeah, definitely wont be back.

I love the prices here but lately I’ve had a big issue with their meat. The last 2-3 times I’ve bought meat from them it smelled and looked off. I’ve had to throw away most of it before the date on the package was past. I think I’m going to avoid this place from now on, especially for fresh meats.

Great grocery store with lots of variety, store brand and some major brands. Quality fresh veggies and fruits, with plenty of fish and meat selections. Large frozen and dairy sections as well. Dried goods, beverages, and consumables sections as well. Way cheaper than the big chains! Self checkout and regular aisles. Bring your own bags or pay for paper/plastic.

My absolute favorite grocery store chain! So many options, including pretty good organic variety, and hands down the lowest prices anywhere! Great staff and easy checkout process with the self-checkout.

This is the closest location to me and I am happy to drive from Levittown whenever I am low on groceries. The store is very organized, clean and they have a variety of many organic products along with a mini section of home goods and clothes. There’s an ALDI literally 3 mins away from my house, but I rather go to Lidl - I highly recommend them!

Clean store,helpful employees nice selection of all foods, steaks are really low priced compared to other stores around area & allot of interesting items for around the house & clothing...Im always buying their hoodies & shirts great prices for premium quality.

Dont get me wrong. LIDL is a great place but; it has a huge flaw, and thats they dont restock their products after a certain time. If you go there to shop from 3pm up; then youre out of luck. You will not find what youre looking for because everythings gone. In other words; if youre not there early then you cant get what you want. There should be be enough of what they advertise all the time. Thats my reason for 2 stars. Fix that and youll get the 5 stars.

Clean and organized. I use self checkout all the time so I am literally in and out. Bakery section is the best. I highly recommend the croissants butter and chocolate.

Kind of new experience, very well lit and clean. Neat store, meaningful collection of items, more like a oversized corner store, I mean really oversized by every standard. No bags, you could buy some. Reasonably priced stuff.

Now Lidl is like Walmart checking receipts at the door. What a damn shame

They started good and now from few months now. The quality of the food has gone bad.. first few months back I bought chicken and where bad.. today saukerat that I bought yesterday and the expiration date was October 2022 I open it and was dark and the smell was like a dead mouse.. so quality have change. Guys I dont know what is going on but make sure that product has not been neglected on the back or at the time to unload trucks... overall the entire store need improvement.

I tried to go mostly everything I need from lidl yourself is always fresh especially you have great great prices on produce I just dont see much of staff running around 😃 pretty good place to shop

UPDATE: Things have vastly improved here, and were lucky to have a LIDL in the neighborhood. I hope they bring back their organic dressings though!Used to be great before the pandemic! Now prices are rising, organic produce is nonexistent, and the self checkout registers are all in operation despite rising Covid numbers. They also dont seem to be sanitizing carts or registers. I find myself shopping there less these days.

Love this MF store. Literally its great. Its aldis cousin. Great prices I love the clean, welcoming easy to find anything and everything organized whole atmosphere. Great finds for anything an everything. I love it an live a hour away an though theirs a store 15 min from me I prefer this one cause its layout an cleanliness.

Unfortunately a lot of the shoppers were not socially distant and didnt have masks on over their nose or their mouth. there was no one at the front of the store making sure people had their masks on properly. Not sure Ill go back until after covid.

Lidl is a well kept secret. It is a discounter of grocery items, mostly name brand. Think Aldi but there are some differences. The prices are good and so far I havent had any bad experiences there.

Nice array of fresh produce. The fruit doesnt last long so use it quickly.Theres a little bit of everything available, including organic, natural, gourmet and vegan products. Prices vary from average to high, depending upon quality.If requiring assistance, there is always one staff member out on the floor.Lidl is well stocked, well lit and exceptionally clean. Sporting wide aisles clearly marked, the store is easy to navigate.Two detractors, they only have two check out lanes open no matter how many people are in the store during daytime shopping hours and some staff assigned to self check are no help whatsoever.

Very nice shopping experience. Many name brands at good prices. Off-brands were good quality. Excellent selection of packaged cold and frozen foods. The bakery smelled wonderful! Very easy to make a quick or extended shopping run. Highly recommended.

Not a bad place good for some great prices

Lidl always exceed expectations. Produce selection for a discount chain are amazing!My only complaint would be they dont always have whats advertised on the first day of sale. Sometimes, I have to make a second trip to complete my shopping.

Very clean market, the workers are really nice...Food is always fresh and check out is fast when using self checkout. When registers close you are notified throughout the store which ones are open and how many are open at that time. Reasonably priced. Had lots of organic food and veggies as well as fruits. Wide open and also sell home, camping and a variety of other goods. This market is similar to Aldi stores but with better foods. They also wash down the shopping carts for you so that when you come in they are already sanitized. I enjoy shopping here.

Total disappointment. I expected much more from a company throwing up locations as fast a they are. Its not likely Im going try any others.

Yesterday was my second visit to Lidl on Butler street in Philadelphia. I am so happy we have this store in my city. Finally I can enjoy good quality products. I love your bakery, the German sourdough bread is excellent as I remember when I was still living in Europe. I didnt taste the real butter for such a long time and it smells like the one my grandmother made. Having it with this delicious bread made me nostalgic.😋 Eggs are reach in flavor like they came straight from the farmer. Vegetables are fresh, I am a fan of cheeses, too. I wish you had more variety of meat, especially pork and beef and I was hoping you will have fresh seafood,at last different kinds of fish.☹ I purchased a pack of coffee imported from Germany and I love it. The price is good and it tastes reach and smooth at the same time Overall Im glad we have you and you are so close to my house which is even better. Really like Lidl the prices are great and they have good selections on food and items.   However, I do have a few pet peeves.First, Lidl sells a variety frozen vegetables except frozen spinach!  How can you not sell frozen spinach? Everybody knows that spinach makes you strong...just ask Popeye the Sailor. Frozen collard greens would be a great addition as well.Second, the self-check out machines DONT accept cash.  Whats the point of self-check out machines if it doesnt cater to everyone.  Its just not good business to ONLY have special perks for those with credit cards.  Listen up Lidl,  not everyone has a credit card!  I use cash and if Lidl really cares about ALL its customers they should incorporate the cash 💵 payment option into those machines.Three, the lines can be a little long, thanks to the fact that the cashiers go offline right as its your turn.  This is the prime example why the self-check out machines need to allow payment by cash.Four, you have to have the Lidl app installed in order to receive your points, meaning the cashier has to scan the QR in the Lidl app in order for you to receive your points.  I cant speak for anyone else, but I just DONT want to install an app from every store I shop not to mention I dont have unlimited space.  Remember, not everyone can afford the big fancy and expensive phone with 512gb of space.Why doesnt Lidl have a barcode scanner built-in to their app that would allow customers to scan the bar code on their receipts at their leisure like the Walmart app?  The Walmart app allows me to scan my receipt at my leisure and I can go back and view my purchase history. Because of the flaw in the Lidl app I have no points to show for my numerous Lidl purchases which means Im missing out on various perks.😡Lidl executives or who ever is running the show PLEASE UPDATE YOUR APP with a barcode scanner and other customer oriented features!!!
