Love this place I work over night and sometime come out of work hungry this is the place I go to . There service is fast in about ten mins you will have a nice hot breakfast on your table . Nice clean place the atmosphere is friend hard working folks who get up early and need a fast breakfast . Service is great the servers are usually right with you from the beginning to the end .
The staff was friendly, but my waitress didnt seem to know the menu at all!! I ordered a tuna fish salad and it came with two sides potato salad and Cole slaw. But when it came out it had the two sides mixed in with my salad it was so gross 🤢 My childs food french fries and chicken nuggets in they werent fully cooked the were still ice cold inside. Me and my family used to love going there every Sunday after church food was great. But after this past weekend I dont think we will be going back what a waste
Liberty Bell Diner in my opinion, is one of the best Diners in the Northeast. They make the best french onion soup Ive ever tasted plus it looks very appetizing with the way they garnish it and its unique crock they serve it in.( I posted a pic so you can see for yourself.) Their portions are very generous & their menu is abundant with popular diner entrees seen throughout the US along with some more unique but tasty ones like SWEET CRACKER CHICKEN, SHRIMP & SCALLOP FANTASIA, among many others. Every time Ive come here the wait staff were very considerate, welcoming, & exceptional in going above and beyond mere satisfactory customer service. The owners also frequently make an appearance, and make it a point to say hello while seeing that your dining experience is one to remember. I highly recommend this place to any folks or families who are looking for a fun night out, good eats, and a check that doesnt break the bank.

This is such a yummy dinner, and its definitely my favorite in the area.They have indoor and outdoor seating, and a walk-up icecream window. Every thing Ive ever gotten here is delicious and reasonably priced. The portion sizes are huge.Its you an old school diner vibe in the sense that you sit down, you get your bread, a soup/salad, a huge meal AND dessert. If you get takeout, they still give you all that. Love it!!
Food was OK but the Waitress coughed without covering her mouth and so did another one that wasnt serving me. Covid or not, its unacceptable to not cover your mouth when you cough

The owner and the waitresses are the best food is delicious was there earlier today 7/14/21Found a bug in my food it was some blonde waitress that I never seen before I’ll explain it to her that there’s a bug in my food and she told me to calm down very tough lady. Manager came call me don’t worry about it don’t pay the bill and she apologized but if you see a blonde older lady waitress don’t let her wait on you I believe she put a bug in my phone
One of my favorite spots to go out for dinner. The staff are friendly and very attentive. I always receive excellent service. The food is excellent...the portions are large and its always worth the money spent. Love all the variety I have liked any dish I have tried breakfast lunch dinner or dessert. They make the real deal fresh waffles my kids love the banana split waffles. They also sell water ice and ice cream.... definitely a favorite. If you are in the neighborhood try it you wont be disappointed.
They always have awesome food here. I love it. The wait staff are all friendly and welcoming as well as the host/hostess. You have to try the cream of turkey soup omg its out of this world. And the french onion soup it amazing as well. They make a very nice and delicious salad as well. Never had a bad meal here ever. Delcious food and great surroundings.
The did was really good and the workers were very friendly. It took a really long time to get our food but to be fair we were part of a very large group (about 40-50 people). The servers apologize several times and explained that they were trying their best. Overall they did an amazing job 👏🏿🙌❤👌😍
This is the first time Ive ever had made from scratch Chicken Croquettes. The crab bisque was also homemade. Very good experience.
This was my familys favorite restaurant but one of their employees stole me and my sisters card info and gambled online with our money. We went and talked to the manager and gave him our phone # to call us with any info. We never heard back its been 2 weeks, not even a simple phone call to apologize to loyal customers since 2007. I guess you just never know anymore. Check your accounts people you may be a victim and not know.
Go there after work all the time. Open 24 hours. Foods & service always awesome.
My wife and I went late Sunday night. Even at that late hour our food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and on point. Well definitely will be back.
Oh my goodness I have been coming here for years and I love it. My two favorites are the turkey burger & french toast but you could get anything off the menu and it would be delicious. I am so happy they made it through the pandemic. Its so nice to see the staffs friendly faces again

I have never had a bad meal here. This place really does dinner right. They have special dinners every day and they are delicious. Dinners include soup (I especially like the cream of turkey), salad, entree, bread, and dessert. The bread they bring with every meal consists of garlic bread, cheese bread, and cinnamon bread. Service is also great - everyone is very attentive. I highly recommend this place.
This is the first time I have been back here since they got a new owner. I will never go back because of how me and my mother were treated. We had to walk out in middle of our dinner! Our soup was good but our main course we got the same meal and we both said it didn’t taste right and was very cold? I tell the waiter and I apologized to him. The manager comes over what’s what’s wrong with them we told him he walked away. What I assume was the owner who came last told us no one ever says they don’t like his food and there is nothing wrong with the food. Then snatched both plates and walked away. So me and my mother walked out! I cannot believe that happened ! How embarrassing and how disappointed we were! Figured I leave a review to warn others. Again this is the new owner, I had no problems with the owners before.

I have been here before but not in awhile. I am pleased to say it’s how I remembered it: friendly people, good food, generous portions, etc. Everyone really enjoyed themselves! There was only one hiccup; I ordered the Iberian Fantasia and received the Shrimp and Scallops Fantasia instead. I did not realize this until after I started to eat it. It was not the waitresses fault as she wrote down the correct thing on her pad. I’m sure there was some miscommunication with the kitchen. Anyway she offered to replace it for me but what I was eating was good and I didn’t want to be wasteful so I said that I would just keep what I was given. Me and my husband joked about it because every time we go to a restaurant I always get the wrong thing. I assumed the waitress would make the monetary change since the two dishes were a three dollar difference But no actual change was made to the bill. I didn’t think about it until after we had already left so that is my fault. Aside from that, the food is very delicious and the service is wonderful and friendly. We would definitely go there again!
My dad used to come here almost every day. The owner is such a nice guy. The food is delicious and the portions are great, so bring your appetite! They have daily specials and it is a staple diner in the area with the NE Philadelphia locals. :)

The service was great. The food is good . I had broiled seafood in some type of white sauce. The sauce was kind of thick and tasteless . I believe if the sauce was a combination of butter, REAL parmesan cheese,whipped milk and white wine it would taste much better

My friends and I stopped here to get a late night bite to eat and the food was ok but the worse part was when the groups bill came it was $270 something and the bill looked as tho it had more items then we ordered plus the waitress tried to charge us over $150 in gratuity and $50 in taxes. So When we decided to split the check by items all of a sudden our bill was only $150. Bad customer service, guess she thought we were drunk since we said we just left a party. Even the manger said something wasnt right with our group check. Safe to say we wont be back!!

The Cheese Steak omelet that I ordered DIDNT look like an omelet. It looked like flat scrambled egg pancake and didnt seem to have much steak in it. My grits were a bit watery and lumpy. But at 2:30AM I was too hungry to fully complain.

I really enjoy getting breakfast there. The portions are always to much for one so you can share or swap part of yours with the one you love. Prices are fair and service is quick. I havent tried anything else yet, but Im sure I will!
Wow! Take the advice of all the other reviews and come HUNGRY! This is a wonderful establishment. Excellent food, large portions, and the price is just right. (Trust me, you get more than your moneys worth.) The service is also first rate. We were greeted by the owner, had a great server, and even saw another server going out of her way to help a customer get the best deal on his meal. That was impressive. Give this restaurant your business. They certainly earned my respect and a nice tip.
Prices might be a little high for a diner but you get alot of food. Wasnt packed with people. So plenty of space and not on top of people. Our waitress Debbie was great. Loved her. She was so friendly and funny. Seems like a really good hearted person.

I came here at 2 in the morning, there was nothing opened around the neighborhood until I came upon this spot. Had an amazing breakfast with French toast. They have breakfast 24/7. The owner is amazing, very friendly and great guy all around. Will be coming back again.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE . Never in my life have I experience the worst customer service ever. A group of friends and I came here tonight. From the moment we stay down we waited about 15 mins for someone to take our drink order than wait additional 20 mins for our drinks to even come. Waited another 45 mins for our food to even come out. Once we ask for our check they put everything on one bill. We ask for split and he refuse. He over tax on our bill and automatically added the tip with the total amount. Your busboy using profanity to your paying customer is absolutely unprofessional and I will not ever returning again .

May 1st at 1:00 am 3 of us went to Liberty Bell Diner what a pleasure it was the waitress was awesome. We ordered Crock of Onion Soup and Fried Calamari to start. Omg! The soup and calamari were perfect. Then 2 of us ordered Liberty Bell’s Special Steak this was the juiciest Rib Eye Steak perfectly made with Portabella Mushrooms, Jumbo Lump Crabmeat in a Brandy Pink sauce over Spinach. This steak melted in your mouth I will be back to order again. Liberty Bell’s Sweet Cracker Chicken was an incredible Chicken Cutlet breaded in crushed Ritz Crackers with a Wine Lemon Sauce so very tasty. The portions were big and we all came home with doggie bags. The coffee was fresh, and the deserts were delicious and fresh.

I usually never have an issue here however the waitress we had this time around seemed high thw whole time. Our food all arrived cold. The appetizer never came until we reminded her after waiting an hour for our cold food... Then the appetizer was brought over... Mozzarella sticks... Was frozen.
Seafood was under cooked and not edible, the cook actually came out and was upset with us that we didnt want to pay for it.

I eat here several times a month. Staff is always fast and friendly, food is good, portions are large, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. There are 7-10 diners within 3miles of me and I pass all of them to go to the Liberty Bell.
This place is great if you dont go late night. I dont know if its the staff or what but we went about 12am once and didnt order for about 20 mins and then an hour later we still didnt have any food so we walked out.
Sat at t he counter so I cant comment on table service. My waitress was on top of my order and coffee (refills) food was good and came out quick

Best food and manager I have ever had at a dinner, highly recommended! Try anything with stuffed crabmeat it literally can only be described as magical! Cheese bread is amazing and complimentary! And they come with complimentary garlic knots that come with olive oil and spices for dipping! We try to go at least every other week

Took almost 40 for the food and when it came out My burger was rare bloody sent it back manager said will take more time to cook u new one I settled for 3 scrambled eggs that wasnt cooked all the way I definitely understand it was weekend and was busy but u will loose lots of money remaking the food because it wasnt cooked the way customer requests

So the waitress charged me more than the price on the menu for egg salad but the soup was good I went for lunch the service was good but the food was just so so who can mess up egg salad.
Had dinner there.it was great.food was fine but little bit big to Finnish. Staff was very nice and friendly.
We have always ordered from here and the food was always good. But recently we ordered chicken dishes and both of us got very sick, Needless to say we will not be eating here anymore
