I just came back from my appointment and OMGOODNESS!!! The entire office is so friendly, professional, and just downright amazing. From the minute you walk in being greeted by Ms. Brenda, right through the checkout process, I am so glad that I chose to visit this location for my eye care needs today. I highly recommend coming here. As a glasses wearer for 32 years, this is definitely in my top 3, maybe even my top, eye appointments.

Been over a month and I’m still waiting for my glasses. Spoke to someone on Tuesday who was supposed to call me back on Friday and nothing. I’m a CDL driver and need my glasses to maintain my license. I’ve never had a problem with visionworks before so I’m gonna assume it’s just this location.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the service this year. The exam was good but I was never informed there was a buy a second pair sale. Then the glasses I received 10 days ago are already sliding down my nose when I am working.

No one ever answers their phone is redirected to someone outside of the store who then places you on hold to contact them. But I still have not gotten threw its been about a week. I purchased contacts at the store in feb & now that im trying to refill them it looks like she put some other brand that Ive never used before on my script. Doctor was originally trying to prescribe me that brand but it was not comfortable Ive always used air optic. Thats the one they ordered in the store & all but forgot to update the script. They mixed up is very inconvenient. I try to purchase online but because the script says another brand doesnt look like im able to buy or contact the store.

I had an eye exam and was hoping to purchase a pair of glasses as well. Dr. Safi was amazing, however, the customer service at the front desk left much to be desired. The staff member processing my insurance was rude and impatient in discussing what options were available in selecting frames/lens and left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt less like a customer and more like a nuisance who had interrupted her day. Beyond the customer service issues, it didn’t seem like the store had strong COVID protocols - in the time I was there, I saw glasses and equipment being used by multiple customers without any cleanings/sanitization in between. I can’t say I’ll be back here.

Staff is nice However Im to Happy with my frames! Ive always had tint in my glasses since the 80s and the Randy Jackson collection Cleary made for his head only. I didnt want these really anyway! I only wanted the 2 pair for $89.00 etc! Highly irritated!

I had an eye exam and purchased 2 pair of glasses almost three weeks ago. One pair of glasses came in before 2 weeks, but my second pair has not. I had to pay copayments and any cost not covered under my insurance at the time of purchase, so I expect my product to be delivered at the same time. . I notify them that I wanted to pick them up at the same time, because I dont live in the neighborhood. I have not received any notification about my second pair of glasses yet. You also have to hold to speak to a live person too long. I will say on a positive note the eye exam was extensive. The customer service in the store was good, but once you pay your money, the customer service is poor.

I called to check the status of my order . My glasses did not inspection and had not been sent back.No one called to tell me this and while on the phone, a request was sent. Called back the next day and found out my glasses will take another week and a half. That makes 3 weeks. Never again!

The staff was ok but because I was not happy with my glasses the girl got angry when I said I will return so it can be done correctly it is now five weeks and no one call or text me I had to call them poor service

I came here once for a routine eye exam in July 2019. I had a fine experience, and got an updated prescription for my glasses. My problems started last week, as I recently moved out of the area and saw a new eye doctor, who requested that I get some records from here to compare retinal images. It doesnt seem there is an easy way for me to do that. I was told multiple times on the phone that it is illegal to release records over the phone. I asked if there was a release form I could sign and send in to them, and was told no. My doctors office has also been given the runaround on receiving my records when they requested them directly. I am hoping the owner will respond to this review with some ideas of how I can receive records from my 2019 visit here.

This eye doctor put an excessive amount of drops in mine and my sons eyes and we both have new vision issues. I had a mild stigmatism before I went there, after I was told I had an injury that can not be explained by the eye institute. I will say that anyone going there needs to be ware and probably shouldnt go there. BeWare!

Horrible “customer service”. Unnecessary attitude. No one is doing me any favors, I’m paying for vision care. They talk down to you and can’t stop checking their cell phones. I also had to go in search of hand sanitizer at the desk by the front door (after using a community pen and sign-in sheet).

Check to see what they intend to charge you for. I almost slipped up and paid $150 to get the lenses changed in an old pair of frames, and that was AFTER their promotional discounts. Thas crazy.

I had a major prescription change in less than a 12 month period. After spending $700 for one pair of frames / lenses in August I unhappily came to Visionworks looking for a cheap frame.To my surprise the inventory was reasonably priced, but not cheap and there was a decent inventory.The staff was extremely helpful and polite. From the outside it appears that they enjoy their jobs and are happy to assist customers.Visionworks has now become my go-to place for glasses

Had the BEST experience here today. Kiah helped me and my son with new glasses but they all treated us like family. Fun times, laughs and great service. Cant wait to go back in 2 weeks to pick up my glasses. The ladies picked out great frames that look great on my son and I.

Great location. Conveniently located near other stores like ACME, Subway, a dry cleaners and some other good shops. A nice and open location with plenty of parking. The staff was very nice and Brenda was particularly helpful. A good selection of the latest trends which always seem to be changing.

We had a bad experience at vision works. The staff there was so rude & unhelpful, the exam was so quick and felt like was done careless. I would like to talk to a owner or a manager regarding our negative experiences.Updating from last review. Visionworks got back to me quickly after my Email. Customer service representative was courteous. The leadership team member I spoke to was patient, considerate and understanding. The issue was resolved to my satisfaction.

I had issues obtaining my contact lenses from the place I (used to) go to in University City (PA Optometrics). The staff here helped me figure everything out, told me what to say to my insurance company on the phone when my old place sketchily held on to my old order, and had my contacts ready for me quickly. No one tried to up-sell me. I am very pleased and will probably be transitioning my vision care here.

I took my daughters eyeglasses to this store to be readjusted because I accidentally sat on them. As I was waiting to get serviced, they reminded me of the 2 pairs of eyeglasses for $59 sale. I only had one pair of glasses so I took the opportunity to take advantage of that sale. There were no hidden fees and I picked up my glasses today and I love them. I now have 3 parti of eyeglasses that I can alternate for different occasions. This store has been very helpful for my 3 daughters and I. I love coming to this store. Everyone is professional and they move at a swift, yet effective, pace.

I had an eye exam for contacts and needed to call back after wearing the trial lenses for a week.It has been almost 2 months, and after daily calls and frequent email to the store and corporate no one ever answers their phones nor messages!Im so terribly frustrated. This is the absolute worst business Ive ever dealt with.

Let’s talk about a extremely dissatisfying experience at this location. If you like to read continue if not DON’T VISIT THIS LOCATION !!!!!!!!!!My husband went for his exam on New Year’s Eve and still hasn’t received his contacts. He has been there four times so far and still no resolution. So far he has had two eye exams and the contacts were ordered wrong twice glasses ordered wrong once. The prescription that he received the first time was too strong and when he tried to tell the optometrist she told him it’s normal to feel like that instead of trying to resolve the situation. He went to the Bala cynwyd location to get a second eye exam he received the right prescription but they couldn’t complete the process, chestnut hill had to order the glasses and contacts. Okay great.Fast forward to today March 11th yes you read that right MARCH he picked up his glasses and his contacts so he thought... first when he walked in and spoke with Chantel she told him the glasses weren’t there but the contacts were ?? Okay this is when the story gets good. He gets the contacts and walks out only to get into his car and sees that the contacts are wrong AGAIN X 3! He went back in and told them the contacts were wrong for the 3rd time. Chantel tells him she’s not ordering the contacts again. The other receptionist found the glasses THAT WEREN’T THERE after asking for them to be sent to the house along with his new contacts. Now imagine driving back and forth to a location that clearly doesn’t care about customer service. Then to be told by someone who is getting paid to be there and HELP you that they won’t order a new pair after they made the mistake? Vision works will be last on our list save yourself the aggravation.

Incident 1: Eye Doctor offered to fit a prescription for contact lens without mentioning that it would cost extra. Although the eye exam was insured, contact lens fitting was not. I reluctantly paid extra.Incident 2: An employee tried to sell me lenses with add-on features that were only partially covered by my insurance. After expressing that it was over my budget, she did not suggest other cheaper alternatives. After double-checking my vision benefits, I called the store again to find out that there were cheaper alternatives.All staff were friendly, but I feel cheated and under-served. I do not feel comfortable visiting this branch again. I will also be leaving a negative review on Google.

Customer service on the phone varies widely vesus coming into the store. Several times Ive gotten mixed messages about appointments being canceled then I called to reschedule it and they said it was ok after all. I go for the appointment, then its actually canceled. I called today to order contacts, and they kept me on hold for so long that I had to hang up and call back. I called back and there was heavy confusion about which kind of contacts and pricing. I didnt feel comfortable ordering them via phone after all that frustration because I didnt trust that Id get what I needed. The phone customer service at this location has declined over the years and its been disappointing.

It was the worst experience ever.The eye test was great, no problem.They were unable to deliver in over 1 month, I had to go elsewhere to PA Optometrists where I got my glasses in 5 days!It started because theres no onsite technician and a staff that never seems to get their story right.They LIED and promised delivery and would never call if unable to deliver.Staff would become upset if caught in a lie.I should have followed the initial reviews that said service and delivery were poor.PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

All the staff except the doctor were very unprofessional. 5 female workers each setting faraway from another, yelling extremely loud that I couldn’t hear my friend telling me which glasses frame we should choose. The elder one thinks she is the boss of everyone and kept asking us to cook food for them? I will never come back to this place.
