Let me take some burden off of your decision making. This is the place you need to choose for diving instruction. Like, literally - if you choose to go somewhere else you’re wasting money, time, and the opportunity to meet rad people. The instruction is patient, personalized, enjoyable and applicable. The owners are knowledgeable, funny, kind, professional and responsive. One word of warning - you’ll want to continue your education after open water - trust me. Inherently, being around this group of people will make you decide that you want more to do with diving, so … saddle up. Also, buy crocs now, you’ll thank me later. Tell ‘em Erin sent you and good luck on your adventure!

The crew at Scubadelphia are top notch. They really care about their students and really want to made sure you are learning what they are teaching. This is no certification mill, they are taking the time to teach you and will make sure you are proficient in a skill before moving on and signing off. They have fun and make learning fun but in a safe and professional environment. You get what you pay for and while they may not be the cheapest around but you still get the best value and quality for what you spend.

I had the best experience completing my open water diver certification with Scubadelphia! Throughout the pool lessons and the certification dives at Dutch Springs, all the instructors and staff were very friendly, flexible, and helpful! At first, I struggled getting used to all the gear but the instructors were very patient and encouraging. From what Ive seen, I think one thing that sets Scubadelphia apart from other dive shops is the large number of instructors (high ratio of instructors to students), creating a strong sense of community. Highly recommend!

Great service ! They helped pick out a drysuit that was best for me. It met all of my requirements and they did a great job measuring me. Suit fits perfectly. They trimmed the seals and made sure everything was just right. No detail was overlooked. Very impressed ! Have a handful of dives on the new suit and Im very happy with the purchase.

Infinite Stars!!!!! Just completed my Advanced Open Water Cert. with Dave, Melissa, and their Staff at Dutch Springs. Cant talk the experience up enough. Amazing staff were patient and attentive. Provided a safe and productive learning environment as well as a very fun, personable, social, and accepting one. Camped the weekend there at Dutch. Dave cooked B/L/D Saturday and Sunday; very inclusive potluck type meals with Dave, Melissa, and their staff. Did three dives Saturday and two Sunday. Definitely a great time!!! Looking forward to continuing my dive education and experience with Scubadelphia and their incredible staff. Thank you all so much!!!

Hello my name is Mike.Ive been a customer of scuba connection since 2004, Have taken 7 courses, went on one store trip, bought all my gear plus some, bring in equipment faithfullyevery year for service, referred numerous customers for courses and purchases of gear as well, so heres my problem.7 weeks ago i contacted the store to find out about a course i was interested in taking. I was told the person in charge of training would give me a call, gave name and number and info and no response. three weeks ago called for the second time, person on the phone couldnt believe i didnt get a call back, told me the person in charge of scheduling classes was in the pool area and he would put him on the phone with me, unforunately i was informed he was not able to come to the phone, same name, info, and number give again now 7 weeks and no phone call back. I noticed the schedule is now out for the month september and the class is not on the schedule. all i would have liked to be told was if the class was or wasnot going to be scheulded so that i can go elsewhere for the class. Its unfortunate I have to wait 7 weeks not response for a dedicated customer. this would not have happened if it this was back in the day and i would have asked to speak to sid or george .again just looking for a courtesy call back.Just to let everyone know I am changing my rating to four stars for this shop, after several days of posting, the shop has contacted me and after talking on the phone, all issues have been resolved.Appreciate the call back.

Awesome online store and dive shop!!!! (Formally The Scuba Connection)Excellent training with an in store classroom and small indoor swimming pool. They teach classes from basic to the most advanced. They teach at your speed. The instructors/DMs are the nicest/very knowledgeable people and a pleasure do learn from. They love to dive and it shows. They always add value to their classes ie. trim suggestions during my OW dives. They are also open to all styles of diving. They have a nice selection from many major manufacturers. They also have an online store. Fast shipping. If they dont have it, they will try to find it. If you can find it cheaper, they dont mind talking price. Why the title???? I did my OW classes with a local dive store less than 10 mins. from my house. Bought regs, computer, jacket BCD based on the dont worry we will be here. After a couple of pool dives, I did not like it. I wanted to exchange for other gear from the same manufacturer and pay the difference. We talked about the gear and he tried to talk me out of every change I wanted to make. What really got me was that he said the VT3 was the same size as the Atom. He had the Atom in stock but not the VT3. VT3 is about the size of a hockey puck and the other a watch. There were other things as well but I think you get the picture.I heard of The Scuba Connection from a friend (should have spoke with him first). I spoke to Wayne (co-owner) for great advise and told me to try working it out with my LDS. I tried and failed. Spoke to Wayne soon after, and he put wheels in motion. Since my stuff was new, he was able to speak to the rep and get the exchanges I needed/wanted and I paid the difference for the upgrades. Saved me a ton of money. Love my gear (VT3, EOS/GT3, BP/W). The Scuba Connection, Oceanic/Hollis are great people. They care about making people happy. My hour drive to their shop is worth it.Update 05/15/12: Just Awesome!!! Cant say enough great things about this shop. Just took their Wreck course and like all their other courses, Excellent! Sean Martini covered what we needed and then some. If you want to do diving off the North East Coast or need a refresher for local diving, take the wreck course.******************2011>>>>Update 10/2012: Advanced Nitrox with Staged Deco (TDI) course was outstanding. Everything you would expect from a top quality course. Attention to detail both on academics and in water skills with task loading and simulated failures/emergencies. When you complete this course your ready for Tech.
