I recently had my mountain bike tuned up here. I rode it today and it was a dream! All of the creaky noises were gone, my brakes felt like a dream, my bike didn’t complain shifting, and my tires had been resealed with Stan’s. Thank you so much for the fast, professional service! I recommend this shop to all people who ride bikes and I’ll be dropping my commuter off for a tune up ASAP.

Convenient location and hours! I was miles from home and needed by bicycle repaired! It was easy to find after you realize that the main entrance is actually on Dudley Street. I was able to relax and enjoy a delicious latte at Two Persons Cafe (next door in the Bok building) until Transport Cycles opened promptly at 10:00AM.Matt was able to look a my bicycle right away and begin the repairs. After carefully examining my bicycle, he pointed out that the sidewall of my rear tire completely worn. Fortunately, he was able to install a new tire of excellent quality and a reasonable price. I was safely back on the road in less than 10 minutes.I was happy with the prompt and quality service.

Approximately 20 year old bike (that I ride daily) started making weird clicking noise and didnt feel right. Brought it in for the professionals to diagnose and to give a much needed tune up. Found out immediately I had a broken axle. They were able to order the part and have the bike ready next day. They were nice enough to hold the bike till the weekend when I was available to pick up. Quick, easy and friendly drop off and pick up. Bike rides like new.

Nothing short of five star service provided by a knowledgeable staff that are happy to help your bike not hate you so much. You, in turn, will almost certainly love your bike more, and experience an increase in smiles per hour.I wouldnt put this shop in the bike dealer category, pushing out numbers of the latest new lines of Trek/Cannondale/Specialized et al space bikes, but a place for on-the-go mechanicals/tubes/flat fixes, and tune-ups up to full rebuilds, etc. They also have a cargo bike to rent! The Fishtown location is more extensive in pretty much every regard.

I was having a safety issue regarding a bolt in my handle bars, they resolved the issue in minutes and I was on my way. Great people and great service.
