Got my car towed here after my steering jammed. They were very friendly when I came in, even when it was past closing time. Rob is great and conversational, and his crew are nice, helpful people. Got a new pump installed at a reasonable time and price.Update: it ran fine all of 3 days, then my serpentine belt frayed and broke. I dont know if it was looked at while at the garage but I was upset and had to get it towed again. Make sure you get everything looked at

This place is great the staff really care about you and your car especially in my situation my son and I wear driving and realized my tires where no good and my life kept coming loose these gentlemen helped me and fixed it like if I was his own child driving the car he would make sure it was nice and safe before anything when I asked how much he didn’t even want to take a payment but of course I could not leave without I felt like he did his best and this is a loyal mechanic who really is not a rip off and cares and finds the way to fixing your car!! Great Service. One day last year my car stopped and cut off in the middle of traffic. I just knew that I was going to have to buy a new car. Some individuals helped me push my car to the side of the road and I got it towed to R&A. They fixed my car with no problem and it has been driving smooth every since. He is my regular mechanic now.

So my car went haywire and broke down about a month ago. Took it to Pep Boys and they quoted me 700$ to fix my alternator. Not being able to afford that at the time, I took it to the place literally across the street from me. Turns out, that wasnt even the problem. Dude worked some voodoo magic and 40$ later fixed it plus checked out other things for me just to make sure everything else was safe with it.Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the city. Theyre honest and give the most reasonable prices around.

I been coming to get my cars here ever since I was in college. I had four cars and ever car they fix and never had no problems after good prices, good people in the shop and fast workers. Never had a issue here!

Rob and John really helped me out. My tire was flat right around the block, and they brought an air tank to my car and inflated it, patched it up in their shop, all after they had officially closed. Solid work and very affordable. Rob will only do the necessary work that you point out or that he determines necessary for your vehicle. Will be returning for routine work!

Ive been coming here for over 10 yrs. Rob is great, always accommodating and honest.

I brought a car from the auction, and unfortunately there was engine problems. My aunt has been going to Mr. Sam for years and she told me to take the car to him. He looked for and engine and didnt like what he saw and decided to rebuild my engine.... While he was fixing my car by brothers car was acting up and was making these weird noises, I took the car to Mr. Same on a Saturday and he replaced all four brakes and rotors. He is a nice and patient man, Ive been stressed out about my car and making it to work, and even with me calling once a week (sorry!!) hes been really nice. Anybody that needs their car fixed and I have is card on me at all times, I refer them to Mr. Sam!!

Initially, my complaint was that the shop owner failed to inform me for 5 hours (after I dropped my car off with my keys, number, and address) that he did not intend to service my car; and that while that is his right, his manner of doing so was so incredibly and poorly communicated/passive aggressive that he robbed me of the opportunity to seek help elsewhere and put me in a needlessly difficult and stressful dilemma of finding transportation to work that evening.My complaint now is that, having expressed our outrage on google reviews, and living in the neighborhood of the shop, frequently passing it on our way to and fro, the shop owner seems to think it appropriate to harass me and my partner, both directly and indirectly, accusing us of lying about the service we received there.If this does not stop, there will be legal ramifications.

Went in to get my car jumped, I live directly by it, my car was Around the corner. I gave them my keys and number. I went back to check on it around 5, they were closing up. They hadnt even touched it, gave me my keys back, and told Me I should take it somewhere else. Refused service, and couldnt use my car. Thanks.
