Such great service! They took care of my car the same day I brought it in and even double and triple checked it to make sure there were no problems. The mechanic spoke with me afterwards to comprehensively explain what was wrong and even showed me the old part that he had to remove from my car. The couple who owns this shop is so sweet and compassionate. Would recommend this shop to anyone!!!!

Amazing service. I got there for a vehicle inspection just as they were closing but they kindly took me in, took care of the car within 30 minutes, and had me out of there. They were SO kind and SO professional. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly & reasonably priced - I didn’t have an appointment & they were upfront and honest about how long the wait would be.. it was still less than an hour for a Saturday. They did my PA state inspection within 40-minutes, we’re very careful to keep my car clean inside, and very friendly. Will be my go-to auto center from now on.

On a whim, I came in as a new client to get a state inspection and oil change. I was completely unprepared! Didn’t have my registration card because I needed to renew my registration but also didn’t have my title number to renew online. I explained the situation and tech was super nice about it. He took my proof of insurance (I at least had that) and put my information in his system. After a few minutes, he came back with a print out with all of my vehicle information. I was extremely impressed! The inspection and oil change was faster than expected which I appreciated. Thanks guys, really appreciate the great customer service.

I got my oil changed there once because it was close to me. Within a few miles of driving my check engine light came on. I took it back to them and they did a diagnostic test with the computer. It showed that my engine has catastrophic engine failure… Misfiring on five out of six cylinders. When I took it to a BMW mechanic, they said that somebody ran the car with no oil in it and it must have only been for a few minutes. I called the shop to ask them questions and the secretary would not even give me her name. These people are refusing to take responsibility for a mistake they made. BMW showed the code happened just after they charged my oil. Now I’ll have to take them to small claims to get the cost of a new engine.

I go here for my inspections I normally don’t have a problem with them. But on several occasions I went here to get a wheel alignment done. The first time they told me to come back in two days made it appointment came at the time of the appointment and they still told me they cannot do it. Told me to make another appointment I did vets sent my vehicle to them the very next day at the time that they opened by the end of the day my vehicle was at the business all day from opening until closing and they still did not do my wool alignment. They told me to come back Monday morning to pick up my vehicle I explain to them that I would not get my vehicle done. I went back to them a month later axing about a wheel alignment and yet again the lady told me that they are almost done with a wheel alignment it won’t be Long can I wait I waited an hour and still they are working on a vehicle. I left my vehicle I called back two hours later they told me my vehicle was done when I get back to their business my vehicle still wasn’t done they told me to wait initial should be finished soon I waited a whole hour before my vehicle was done. Then they give me a list of other items that needs to be done on my vehicle. I would not go back to them aTo get any more work done

Ive used this shop a few times since moving to Philadelphia. They have a great location, honest service, and fair prices. Theyll call and update if the timeline or scope of work changes, and provide periodic updates. Turnaround is also usually quick provided parts do not have to be ordered.

First time I went there was trying to get an alignment. Guy gave me good information, and said to come back on Thursday bc he was busy.I come back on Thursday and the woman at the front says they wont do alignment that day for some reason even though the guy was there. I came very early in the morning and even had made an appointment but still nothing. They kept saying Ill should go to another store. Then I said I made an appointment isnt that what its for! (Seinfeld reference!). She said no make another appointment and come back on Tuesday. I was confused and left.The rating is an acknowledgment that I never actually got the work done, but it was just odd that I had two different interactions and they essentially they did not want to do work on the car.

First time I want to this place for inspection after I look there great reviews on google. I wasn’t surprised at all. All people work there deserve more than 5 stars. Combination of good people and good service. I will return again if I need any car service and I will recommend this place to my family and friends.Thank you very much guys. Keep up doing good work.

For my routine car inspection they were very good. It was a quick in and out and they were pretty thorough with their work. The people working were kind, though the glass window they have for the attendant made it a bit of a struggle to have a conversation at first. Overall a good experience and the place I would recommend if you live in this part of the city.

Super friendly and amazingly helpful. They took care of me and went the extra mile when another shop would have charged me an arm and a leg. They were patient with me and explained the process of what they were doing, even saving the old parts do I could view them and see what exactly went wrong. I called 15 places for an inspection with everyone turning me down and telling me that itll take 2 hours minimum and you have to book an appointment.I called Central Auto and they were the first to guarantee Id be out of there by 45 minutes and they can take care of me. PREDATORY BUSINESSThey attempted to charge me $450 to replace my battery. Needless to say I had the job completed at another service center for $190. When I asked why it was so much money they just smiled and said this is how much it cost. Besrat clearly and scientifically explained what was wrong with my 96 Jeep and went above and beyond in terms of service and labor in helping me find a solution that worked. I couldnt be happier about my experience here and I am glad I have a mechanic in my life that I trust, feel confident in, and can afford.

These guys are both competent and honest. Theyre my go-to garage for everything I cant do at home, which is almost everything since I dont have a driveway.

DO NOT GO HERE. I went to get my brake pads replaced because they were squeaking, when I picked it up they were still squeaking. I brought it back and drove around the block with a mechanic, who heard the noise. After an hour of working on my car, he claimed that there was no noise and there was nothing wrong. My brakes literally squeaked on the way back home. I will now have to go and get my brake pads replaced again at a different auto shop and accept that I wasted $400 at Central Auto Service.

Sloppy employee damaged my car last year. First time I went there, the mechanic left his blackened grease hand print on the ceiling of my driver side. Second time I went, I left my car overnight so they could replace brake pads. After arriving home I found my driver mirror back had been hit or scraped, and was missing the lower panel.
