Im always getting my back window broken out my Ford f 150 cause we do concrete work and sometimes loading is a Hassel. This guy is the cheapest in the city n borrow. Plus hes reliable. He was even open during the pandemic. Gave me a price for a solid glass and ended up only having a sliding door n didnt charge me. And hes fast.

I took my car to James E Linus Sons to have a broken window replaced. I arrived at 11:00am and my car was ready by 2:30. They even cleaned the broken glass from the seat.

They burn me for my money they charged me 140 for a used side mirror unit I didn’t know how much a new one cost until now that I gotta get a new one ok.. I just called pep boys to get a price my mirror is 120 so not only did they over price a used side mirror (which was more then a brand new one) they got upset cuz I didn’t let them install because I had to work I called before they told me they could have it done in 20 mins I was fine with that I come to get it done and they tell me to pick my car up at 4 it was 12 it doesn’t take 4 hours to put on a side mirror so I got my mirror and took it to Midas they were friendly and got my mirror on in ten minutes so I wouldn’t recommend then to anyone

Didnt even take the time to locate the glass for me. Told me he doesnt have it and hung right up. Way to make money. Word of mouth travels.

This is an established family owned business that is very customer service oriented.

Did a repair and so far working perfect. The most cheap in Philadelphia and Bensalem.

I had my window replaced 3 years ago due to a break in. This place replaced the window but the interior door cover was not aligned properly. Just the other day it was very cold and I went to lower my window and the window just fell. I went back to have them check it and they tell me its no longer under warranty right away. After checking the window they tell me that the clamps broke and itll cost me ANOTHER $160 to replace it. They use cheap replacement parts and wont admit to it.

I recently got my windshield replaced at this glass place for $178.20, this was after I asked the manager if they price matched, because Safe Lite would have done the same job for 178.10. Linus original price was for me was $209.00. But because I found it cheaper somehwere else, they price matched. Sooo, a day or two later I realized that my windshield wipers were off track and had to take it back to get those put on correctly. In the next couple weeks, it rained and my drivers side floor was damp. I had no idea why until I took it to my mechanic, who asked if I had had any work done on the windshield. Thats when it hit me. I called Linus and told them what was happeneing, they told me to come in so they could test it. When I got there, one of the workers sprayed Windex on the windshield and used some type of pressurized air tube to go around the top of the windshield and tell me that if there were no bubbles the windshield wasnt causing the leak. I told them I had no leaking BEFORE they touched my car, and they said there was nothing they could do, that I should just take it back to my mechanic and see what the problem was. The next time it rained I had a disgusting puddle on my drivers side floor, and took it back again. They repeated the same thing about the windshield being sealed correctly but they had no asnwer as to why my car started leaking AFTER they installed my windshield. The guy that helped me, if you want to call it that, spoke to me in such a patronizing tone I was sure he was gonna refer to me as Darlin or Little lady at some point. So it turns out after my boyfriend took my car back for the fourth time, they actually listened to him and REALLY checked the entire window to see what was causing the leak. It turns out that a drain or trap that is supposed to let the water flow outside of the car, is clogged. It was not clogged until the fellas at Linus replaced my windshield. Making sure you get out debris, and that it doesnt clog anything up, as well as basically leaving a car in the same state that it arrived in, is just a good business practice in my opinion. But aparently not in theirs. So now I have to put out another $50.00 to pay my mechanic to clean the drain or trap, that Linus should have offered to do since they CAUSED THE ISSUE! They do shotty work and are VERY MUCH NOT WOMEN FRIENDLY. Get glass from them at your OWN RISK. I know I will NEVER go to them for ANYTHING ELSE.
