Nobody in town can touch Walmarts low prices for oil changes, and I have checked out several others, even with coupon offers. Yes, it takes longer to get your oil changed at Walmart, and you have to get out of your car for a while, but its all full service - they even fill your tires and check your battery. Nobody will tell you this, but at those other quick-lube places they dont even have enough time to fully drain all of your old oil, yet they get away with charging a lot more. My wife seems to go to Walmart for completely different reasons. Those service writers dont seem to be making a commission on anything, so she feels no pressure to buy any additional services that she didnt anticipate. The other places in town will try to screw every nickel out of you, especially if you are a woman. (like sharks circling around a lone swimmer) I know my wife also enjoys shopping in the main store while the car is being serviced. She could easily spend a couple hours in that place, including feeding our kids at the Subway in front of the store. Note: my wife also sends her single friends over there, and Ive always been curious about that! She says a couple of her friends have told her that some of those mechanics are good looking, so I really have to question my wife and her friends true motivation for going there. (grin)

Got four tires done at Walmart Pflugerville Auto Center today. Called in the morning to confirm availability. Spoke with Israel and although his computer was running slow, he was quickly able to confirm 3 options on tires for my Camry. Appreciated the fact they had inventory and were actually booking appointment times.Showed up was greeted quickly by one of their Auto Center gals...got checked in, as discussed with Israel, added the Road Hazard Warranty $10/tire (lots of house construction near us, too many nails, screws, etc. to not get it) also opted up for the Lifetime Balance and Tire Rotation for $14/tire.They told me 90 minute wait but was actually ready in 75 minutes. A bit of a line to check out, but still went pretty quickly.Just FYI, they still offer $20 to $50 oil changes depending on the type of oil you prefer.Overall this Walmart looked pretty clean and well stocked. Restrooms clean. Need to have our SUV checked for slow tire leak. Will drop in again for added work. Staff was friendly. 👍

It took 4 hours and not only that they didn’t even put my cover back on the bottom of my car for the oil, just put it in my trunk and only gave me 2 screws back with it, missing 4 more and didn’t even let me know, so it’s more money to pay for the missing screws and install it again of course they don’t care about that.

Went in for a standard oil change, was told it’d take about 45 minutes. After waiting (standing because there are no seats inside) for over an hour and 15 minutes tried to ask if it was almost ready, but was ignored for about 15 minutes by the two employees working the front and watched as they proceeded to help people on the phone or look through papers on their counter. Very unprofessional and rude, I will going to a different auto place next time.

I went in for an oil change and they removed the skid plates of my car and tossed it in the trunk of my car. The skid plates originally had no damages and fit snug like they should be. The car is fresh out of the dealership, and recently serviced. They mangled up the skid plates removing them. I didn’t find out until hours later. Completely unprofessional. When I went back to ask them to put them back on they refused. The auto manager (Jessica) had a bad attitude, extremely rude from the start, and didn’t care to listen. After damaging them, they said it was unsafe to put back on, and refused a refund or any follow up service. Even threatened to ban service to my car because I wasn’t ok with that sort of treatment. Poor service after poor service. Now I have to drop more money on getting new skid plates. This should of been a simple service. Will not be returning to this auto care center.

So disappointed. Be aware that they most likely do not have the product that you ordered online available. When you call they have no idea what you are even talking about. I knew it was too good to be true.

I got here at 8:45am and only two cars were ahead of me. It’s now 10:45am and they still don’t know when my car will be done for a standard oil change. I was ignored and waited 15-20 minutes before anyone even assisted me. This was the worst experience and customer service I’ve ever had. Do not waste your time coming here. The manager is horrible and I felt like such an inconvenience. DO NOT COME HERE unless you plan on wasting 2-3 hours.

Horrible!! Was here before they opened for a tire. 2 techs looked me in my face when they opened and proceeded to help customers that came after me. If I could have driven somewhere else with better customer service I would have. Neverrrrr again at this location!

Was misinformed on tire warranty and was told my tire replacement would be covered. When heading out they bill me 80$. I explained to them what I was told and they didnt pay no mind to it. I still drove off with my flat tire cause they wouldnt try and repair it under the hazard. I waisted 2 hours of my day here and the manager had no care about that. Very dissatisfied Wal Mart.

I just read on FB about the hour you guys spent after closing to help a woman get a cat out of her wheel well. She posted pictures but I’m not going to take them to post without her permission, but thank you for helping her and that poor scared kitty.I have also gotten my oil changed here and had no problem whatsoever. Everyone was polite and did what they needed to do.

Here is the dell, It took almost 2 :30 to get a tire patch/ plug.Great attendee, and the service man did a great job so far but, there is no way that automotive store with four stalls should take up to 2:30 waiting time to patch/plug tire. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Worked with them to order custom wheels and tires. Knowledgable staff was able to walk through options that would fit to the specifics of my car. They handled the ordering and was able to mount the new wheels. It has been a week and Ive had no issues so I would say theyve done a good job. I did not expect to be able to get custom wheels thru Walmart but theyre definitely equipped to do so. Saved me literally thousands of dollars than what independent shop quoted me for the same wheels. One star off because even though I made an appointment they did not get to my car for at least half an hour. Bring a book and get ready to wait.

I waited in my car without anybody to assist me when i finally got out i stood at the garage to see the lady on her phone only to tell me it was a 2 in a half hour wait i didnt have a chose they already pulled in a car behind me i understand there is only one tech working but they could have handled that better

Walmart auto center was recommended to me by a family member and i was not let down or disappointed. The service was great. And i was very satisfied with the oil change i got. I will be returning to walmart auto center for my next oil change. They even vacuumed my car for me.

Horrible customer service! I parked to get my oil changed, went inside, waited only to be told that I needed to get into a car line and someone would approach me. I got back in my car and waited in this car line. A woman FINALLY approached me (a long line of cars) and told me it would take 2-3 hours for a simple oil change! What??? No apologies! She goes on to say that this is normal. I say thanks but no thanks and I go across the street and have my oil changed in 10 minutes! Definitely not worth the time!

They did a fine job as far as changing the oil and no leaks however they didnt remove the old sticker that said the recommended milage to get another oil change. They just started a row across the top of my window and they left my truck unlocked In the Walmart parking lot. NOT COOL

I have been to this Walmart twice. The first time my battery needed to be replaced (and although the person was not the warmest) he still attended me well and I got back on the road quickly. This time was just an oil change but they were just the best and so upfront. I like their service and frankness.

Not the fastest service place and maybe that’s why not they have very reasonable price. Our oil change was done by Nita who was knowledgeable and funny, with great attitude. She was nice enough to vacuum our car. Just go there if you have time else you may end up complaining about time it takes to service your car. $44 for full synthetic oil change is worth spending an hr while you can shop.

They took great care of my car, recharged the battery for free, and of course, are responsible E waste specialists for those who are environmentally consiencous. Also because thats a law I think. And the gumball machine is yummy. I love the smell of new tires, this area is great for fueling my addiction (haha!) Also some funny guy made a cool joke about my licence plate number and it made my gosh darn day.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Just tried to get a tire replaced that has not held up the way it’s suppose to. Couldn’t get this done because they didn’t enter all of the information correctly about the tire (warranty numbers and tire number) Not my personal information, but the tire numbers. The guy said it was MY responsibility to make sure they enter the tire numbers correctly, when I don’t even know what that is! I’m not an auto mechanic or a tire service expert. It is NOT my responsibility to make sure they do their job. I told him this and he said “well actually it is” The license plate number and spelling of my name isn’t even correct, even though I gave it to them. Go to an actual tire store to get tires or a year later you will be screwed and out the cost of another tire.

Came in at 740 and waited 20 minutes before anyone came to help at the desk (even after coming to ask someone for help from the garage). Finally someone came out so that I could get my battery tested to be sure it needed replacing. Then waited another hour before they were done. Only 1 car came in before me. If they are doing an oil change they will make anyone else wait. No matter who came first. The lady who came before me was having her tires rotated and she marked her tires to be sure they were rotated correctly...they didnt. Fronts were still on the front, Backs still on the back. Saving $20 wasnt worth the headache and missed time at work this morning.

Todays manager in turn was rude and gave me a hard time over the amount of recycle oil I took there, according to her the amount was more than I declared on paper and told me in a rude tone next time write the correct amount then the argument started. Next time if I see her there Ill just walk away.

In the past I received decent enough service. The price was good and the quality of work was acceptable, so I was tolerant of the awkward business processes.But, my last visit was so bad I probably wont be back. Its been going downhill for the last couple of years, even worse now. Walmart has been patching my tires for 20 years. I was told my tire was unpatchable without the person even knowing anything about it. So of course when they got around to looking at it, it was unpatchable. Sad day when Walmart turns into Firestone.

Came for an oil change and two tires replaced. 45 minutes after dropping my car off they call to tell me they dont have my filter so they cant do my oil. Ok.... I look in the bay and my car is jacked up and tires off, Im thinking at least they are getting the tires done quickly. An hour later they come to tell me that they dont have the tires for my car and they will have to sell me the more expensive ones. And here I set 30 minutes later not one tire still on the car and the shop manager gives excuses. I know the rules and how things go. Pflugerville Walmart you get a -10 in my book.

Weve used this walmart for both battery and tire replacements, and have always had good service and reasonable wait times. I dont know that I would use them for more comprehensive work, but weve been happy with those two services.

Terrible customer service. The bad thing about it is that I asked a manager for help finding what I needed. All she said was that she wasnt sure if they carried what I needed. I asked her if there was someone that could help me. She told me I could go to car care center and ask one of the employees that works there. I looked around a little longer and couldnt find what I needed and just ended up leaving.

Save your money, go to Discount Tire (1601 FM 685, Pflugerville, Texas), and avoid this Auto Care Center at all costs. I spent an hour of my evening attempting to get my customer service complaints heard. I dropped my vehicle off for a tire installation at 4:20PM and was told it would be done in roughly an hour. I know this is a soft deadline, so I thought nothing of it when another 30 minutes had passed. Upon 6:30PM I decided I better call and see if my vehicle was ready to be picked up and the service to be paid for. I called directly to the Auto Care Center and was met with endless ringing until the store operator picked up and transferred me back to the Auto Care Center. I was met with another long wait of endless ringing and was subsequently answered yet again by the operator. I told her no one was answering in the Auto Care Center and her response was, “Well they are the only ones who can help you.” First of all, extraordinarily unprofessional and secondly this is not a response that would not be conceivably construed as helpful. This woman had no regard for my concerns and the fact that I did not want to waste my time and gas driving to the store to find out my car was still not ready. I asked if someone could be sent over to the Auto Care Center to ask them to pick up their phone. She told me she was paging them and abruptly hung up. So, wanting my vehicle back before tomorrow, I was forced to drive down and was met with a continuation of the service I received on the phone. At the counter I waited ten minutes with not a single person coming to the counter nor acknowledging myself and two other customers. At which point I lost my patience and got the two service members attention. I was given the “hold on finger” from a one Mr. Matthew Torrez. So, thinking that this would expedite the process I proceeded to wait another 5 minutes before Cruz came to the counter. I asked if my vehicle was ready which apparently is a stupid question as he responded in a very condescending tone that it was. This was the point at which I decided a manager was needed. Ms. Kat (support manager) came over and listened to my complaints and the situation at hand and stated that she could take off 10% from my total purchase. Another 10 minutes was spent attempting to apply this discount before the Auto Care Center, Jessica, was called over. She immediately (again another person with a condescending tone of voice) stated that this was not possible and that the best they would be able to do was a $20 gift card. She continually talked over me and when ask if I could finish she continued speaking telling me that she did call at 5:30PM and that my voicemail box was not set up. I verified on my call log no such call was received. I am now furious. I ask Jessica to call the store manager, Jason, over. Unlike Jessica, he actually listened to the situation. However, reiterated that the 10% would not be applied even though that was offered to rectify this situation. He told me that I could take the $20 gift card and he would insure that the department received further training. Further training cannot teach someone common sense, nor customer service. This is the worst service I have ever received in my life. Mind you this wasn’t a $250 purchase. I spent over $750 at this Auto Care Center and I will ensure that anyone I know in the Pflugerville area never purchases services here ever again. PS. Kat had a genuine customer service mindset and was fantastic, what she offered could apparently not be done but I have no complaints against how she handled the situation. Also, the woman (didn’t get her name) who assisted me when dropping me vehicle off at 4:20PM was also amazing and quick with service.

Dropped car off at noon. At 1:45 pm it was still not even in the bay getting the two new tires I requested... The person who helped me/took the keys never said it would be 3+ hours ... I told him we would be in the store shopping, he said he would call in a few to let me know its done. This implies that it was going in soon. What a waste of time.

BAD SERVICE!! I ordered 4 tires and went picked them up . They messed up with my order gave me one which was not mine has another customer name on it . Went back the next day the associate who attended me didnt even want look up for my tire I waited like 40 mins waiting on what happend to my tire at the end no body knew what happend and I asked for money back . I went to this walmart branch thinking I would escape the inept service folk at Walmart on Parmer/I-35 (12900 N IH35 svc Rd) and ..... I was wrong.The service person started the conversation about what they cant do for me. He went on to explain to me how the tire balance package that I had purchased only covered tire balancing and not rotation. Hmm... really?I then had to show him on the receipt that I had already done this a few times before at the other branch on I-35/Parmer... then he went to confirm with someone in the back. While he was doing that I found a board on which it was written nice and big- TIRE BALANCE/ROTATION as a single service. He came back and without a word proceeded to completing my work order. Smh.Then, the associate told me that he cant do a cross-rotation like I wanted since the tire I had GoodYear Viva3 was a directional tire and they could only do a front to back and vice versa rotation. I just checked the tire with the guy and told him that I didnt see any markings that indicate that it was a directional tire.He went to check with the guys in the back and he just popped back out and was not too pleased to see me waiting to ask him if he confirmed whether the tires were directional or not. He went back in to check and then came out and said he could do it.Dear walmart, I know that the bottom line is all that you care about, which is why your hourly employees dont really care about the customers. But try to improve your customer service levels by increasing pay, providing incentives (employee of the month, bonuses, reviews etc) and employee engagement and watch your profits really rise.In the meantime, stay away from walmart tire/lube centers. Dont learn the hard way as I am learning so far. Hope this changes.
