After Redding all the positive and negative feed back from this Dealer I had to say I am agree more on the negative side of it .one bought a oil change service and tire rotation and they did not rotate the tires and they said they have no filters for the to be change I paid for all that service they always do half way service and on top of it YOU HAVE TO WAIT 2 plus hour for it, to any one want to buy a CAR THERE one you spend you entire day for that and they try to sell you their shirt and the JUST DONT CARE as long they sale you, again dont take my world for it just saying BECAREFULL on what they offering like 10 min oil change turn out to be all day oil change there.

I travel several times a year to Petaluma, from Paso Robles. As an elderly woman on her own, I take care of any car issues immediately.I was experiencing issues with my key fob (first issue in 6 years-love my FIT) and took it in to Hansel Honda service dept. The young man who helped me was an absolute angel. Kudos to Fernando Vierira...he is a rare customer service gem and I hope Hansel recognizes that and treats him accordingly.

The communication between stores is non existent. How can multiple stores share the same used cars but not know anything about them. Like that 3 people had already put a deposit on it!!! I had at one point three people from three different Hansel car dealers trying to sell me this one car. It was seriously the run around cause no one had any answers. Except that they were going to get me in this car first! One of them even offered for me to put a deposit on it. one of them offered to drive it to me so I wouldn’t miss out. The salesman at Petaluma Honda told me it was available to see and drive. We went and drove it and loved it. Seriously spent over two hours Thinking about it!!!!!! Decided to see about financing and then turns out this car has not one but three deposits on it! But not my deposit! Seriously. Get your stuff together Hansel I feel like communicating is not that hard. Or hey take it off the website!!! Im pretty sure that is easy. I do not recommend going to Hansel. I talked to the manager about everything that happened and Im pretty sure he could care less. It was very obvious he had no interest even talk to me. He also tried to blame the other Hansel dealerships. I’m sorry your salesman brought me in to test drive and see this car. How did no one have any idea! No one apologized or seemed to really care. I would like all the time I wasted on this car back because of your lack of communication. This was days by the way!There are a lot of other dealerships where you could spend your money. We went to Kia Marin and bought a great car and had a great experience. Go there instead.

Hansel Honda was Not a good experience for me. I made an appointment at 12:30 for a three hour service (30,000 mile). I decided to wait. At 2:30 I asked for an update. They had not started the service. During those 2 hours no one updated me. I had to be somewhere else at 4:30. I asked to just bring the car out. I guess I would have waited for 5 hours or been told to come back the next day only when they closed. I feel the Hansel Honda service department is poorly organized and over committed so appointments are meaningless. I won’t go back to Hansel Honda.So I had business in SoCal and took my car to Norm Reeves Honda. I bought the car from them in 2017. I made an 8:00 AM appointment on Saturday. Even though there was a queue of cars the service coordinators came along the queue and wrote up work orders. I was again told it would take 3 hours for the service. I asked them to check the clunking noise in my left front wheel (just like at Hansel). I Uber-ed to a local gym to swim. When I finished my workout and shower the service was already completed before 11. They didn’t notice the clunking noise. I demonstrated the noise to service representative and they took it back into the shop and diagnosed the problem for free. They are working with me to get the repair under extended warranty. Here is the kicker: the cost of the service was $100-$200 less than Hansel Honda for more service! Norm Reeves is in Orange County California, one of the most expensive places to live on earth. Norm Reeves took exceptional care of my car. I felt appreciated and welcomed at Norm Reeves Honda.

Such an easy car buying experience. We werent sure about a Honda when we went in to test drive a Honda Pilot, as we had never had one before, but boy were we surprised. Our sales person Marci was terrific and very easy to deal with. No pressure sale. We purchased a Honda Pilot that day! Would LOVE to buy from her again. Update - Have had a few Service Appointments and have had the BEST service experience with their Service Team. Jose Medina is a rock star. Very nice to deal with, friendly, and always explains everything.

My first time using a dealer to service my car. I told McKenna that. Wasn’t familiar with their operations. Was going in for routine oil change, tire rotation and oil exchanges. I wasn’t sure exactly what was due so we agreed I go home and look at records and I call her with that info. I had asked her about prices for their services and she told me them related to oil change and exchanges. While there I remembered I had a 6 year old bra half falling off the front of my car. My husband could have easily removed in 10 minutes. But since I was there I asked if possible they could refasten or if not throw away. When handing me the paper work McKenna said initial here to throw away bra. I didn’t think we agreed on price for service as refastening bra would of taken much more time then throwing away. But what I really signed was a agreement to charge me $190 to throw it in the trash! When I got home and called her after reviewing my service records she said this will cost about $600. I assumed that was total. When car done and I got there my bill was $1098. I realized I was charged $190 to throw a half falling off bra in the trash. When I complained about the cost to throw bra away at first McKenna said she would give me a refund. When I returned to the office she refused refund. I had verbally asked her the costs of their services. She knew I had never done service with them. She should have clarified I was ok with paying $190 to throw a bra in the trash. I would have never asked them to do that if I knew how much they charge. I spoke with manager Mike. He basically told me McKenna was his best employee as if what I was saying was a lie. He also refused to refund me any part of cost I only asked him for half a refund. And gave me a free oil change and tire rotation at next visit. I will go there for that to recoup some of this money but otherwise they will never see my van again. I was even thinking about trading up my van with them for a new one with them. They lost my business all around. Read every line of your agreement you sign as even if you ask verbally what costs are they won’t say will just type in agreement for you to sign. Very crooked in my mind. This is exactly why I normally don’t have my maintenance done at a dealer.

Im not one for the whole car buying process. Its long, tedious & as a former sales person, I find myself recognizing little cues & tactics sales people use to achieve their objective (which im not mad at, just kinda jaded to the whole thing in general). In addition, my last experience with buying a car was less than stellar & left me with a car that as much as I loved, gave me a whole lot more problems than I wanted. All that said, this was pretty nice. I saw the car online & sent a request to the dealer to see if it was still available & my guy, Manny V. got back to me the next morning to set up a time to check it out. When we got there Manny answered our questions, & worked with us to get us a pretty good deal on my new (used) car. He was even able to take my old beloved off my hands too. It was a Saturday, so while there was a lot of hustle & bustle we never felt like we werent cared for or paid attention to. If my specific tastes allow, I just might come back for the next one.

Talked me into a lease on a new Odyssey however there was no car on their lot. A dealer trade was necessary. We negotiated and agreed but the following day the dealer was unable to locate the correct vehicle through dealer trade. It took 3 days to find the correct car and get it to the dealership, leaving me paying for a rental. Then, the vehicle arrived with serious water damage in the cargo area. Unfortunately this was not noticed by the saleswoman when she installed the floor mats. (I did not see the damage because it was covered by the floor-mats for the rest of the vehicle, which had not yet been installed when I viewed the vehicle.) The vehicle was immediately returned to the dealership and I asked that the lease be canceled because they could not deliver the vehicle we negotiated about and agreed to. The dealership has so far refused to cancel, has been unable to find a cause for the water damage, has made promises re:repair they were unable/unwilling to keep, and have had my new car for 11 of the 12 days Ive owned it. Now the General Sales Manager Miguel will not return phone calls. DO NOT BUY/LEASE from this dealership. We - ourselves and our extended family - have only used Hansel for the last decade for our vehicles, but will not do so again. BUYER BEWARE!

My girlfriend took our car in with a dead battery and making some bad brake sounds. They wanted to replace the brake pads, drum brakes, disc brakes, the tie rod, brake shoes, and the battery. They charged us $350 for the diagnostic and the battery replacement, which we begrudgingly paid so we could take the car off the lot. For the other services they were going to charge us $1600 for all of that. We decided to not do this, and took matter into our own hands. I replaced the front brake pads myself, and the discs were not worn down to the need of replacement. The drums did not need replacement, but the brake shoes did (i did not replace this myself). I then took the car to a local brake and tire place who did the inspection for the tie rod, checked the brakes, and serviced the car. They said the tie rod was completely fine and was bewildered that the the dealership said we need to service it. The service cost us $181 compared to the outrageous $1600 the dealership was asking forBottom line, the dealership was trying to take advantage of my partners lack of car knowledge. Total robbery.

Dude doesnt even know how much the dealership is selling the car for. Total waste of time, insulting and unprofessional. This is after weeks of communications via email.

Theyre charging me thousands of dollars for barely even touching a curb when parking a loaner car when they had to keep my car for days. No way to pay that, life is already ruined financially due to life and death events beyond my control. Im definitely never coming back. This is insane. I did basically nothing to their car.

Amazing service! My wife suggested I try Hansel Honda after a bad experience at Manly Honda. I brought my car in for them to inspect and repair my A/C. They were fast, friendly, and efficient! They even waived the inspection fee to make up for my lousy experience at Manly Honda! Highly recommend! They really show that they want your business! Customer service was unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere! They’re getting all of my business from now on.

I went to Hansel to have some covered maintenance done to my 10-year old Honda. The facility is clean and pleasant. Everyone was charming. My car was fixed quickly. They couldnt have been nicer. I will start going to Hansel for all my Honda maintenance in the future. Honestly. Im amazed by how much more I felt taken care of than at the previous place I went to. They were great and they didnt even make any money from me.

Made an appointment, they took me on time, which was impressive to start with. Staff was upbeat, friendly, really courteous. Place has a good vibe, the customer service stood out to me. They said the service (passenger airbag recall) would take about 90 min, and it took only a few min more than that. Never been to a shop that actually met their appointment and time goals, I was impressed. Highly recommend.

My brother bought it brand new car from there and on 03/08/2021 drop it off for service and it was his first service and someone from dealership hit his car broke the wheel and have creaking on it tire was ripped and when my brother took it back this people refused everything my brother is truck drive went to work come back after 4 days and this people told him they can’t do anything for him and they did inspection on the car if I had this damage on the car why they didn’t told me

I went here when everyone was busy at Hansel Toyota. Ask for Edgar and Ramses, they were knowledgeable about all aspects of the cars I wanted to see and drive. If they didnt know the answer they found out for me! They were able to show me all Hansel used cars! I ended up with a used Toyota Avalon hybrid and I love it! Yes, theyre here to sell cars, but Kim was incredibly personable and wanted to make sure I was happy. My girlfriend and I bought a Honda CR-V from Manny Valdez over at Hansel Honda. We drove four hours to see Manny because not only did Manny get us the best deal on our new Honda but he treated us very well. We didnt have to deal with the usual car salesman B.S. you would expect. We did most of the paperwork over email and text which was super stress free. When we got there it was just a quick test drive, signed some papers and Manny thoroughly went over all the features and got our phones hooked up to the stereo for the drive home on our free tank of gas.Thank you for the great hospitality Manny Valdez

Very pleasant experience. I called in about a recall issue regarding my airbags and they set me up with an appointment for the next day. I dropped my car off & was told my car would be finished at 4pm. They offered me a shuttle ride which was great & called me at 3:45 to say my car was done. Amber was amazing! I walked onto the lot at Hansel and had no idea of what I wanted. She took the time to educate me on all the cars Honda makes and then even drove me to Santa Rosa to look at cars on other lots! Would like to say that Hansel Honda does not know how to conduct an ethical business. They posted a a car on their website and other apps for sale. On Tuesday (10/22) I email to inquire about it and I get a call from Rob didnt even know the price of the car. I told Rob If he could accept my offer and he was only focused on how quick I could get down there. I told him that I had to go out of town for work and would not be able to drive to Petaluma from Sacramento until Sunday (10/27). Rob was pressuring me to come earlier than Sunday but I told him no. Rob sent me pics of the car and then on Thursday (10/24) he tells me that he cannot do my offer because the car has not been certified. He quotes me a price of the car certified and not certified. So then I suggest another offer and I dont hear back from him until Sat (10/26). On sat if we were still on to meet on Sun and Rob then tells me that the car was in the shop and wont be available til Monday. I then makes a final offer in which Rob agrees with and I could check out the car Monday (10/28) or Tuesday (10/29). Tuesday comes and I then Rob tells me that his boss is still reviewing my offer. I then talk to Miguel (the sales manager) and thats when he tells me that the car is still in the shop and not available and then told me that he was going to charge me the price of whatever will help them get the money back from the car being in the shop. I explained my frustrations of basically being deceived and lied to by Rob and Miguel said he that he would definitely think about it and said the car will be back on Wednesday and he would call me and with his decision. Wednesday came and I didnt receive a call from Miguel and when I called him he told me that he would not be able to do the deal because his owner will not allow it and told me he was going to charge the price that would help them get back money from the shop. So what I gained from this experience is that Hansel Honda does not like to honor their word even on text messages and like to try to deceive their customers. Its sad that they had to lie and at first try to sell a product that they didnt have. I definitely do not recommend buying a car from them at all as they way the way they treat potential customers is unacceptable. I will definitely taking my business to another dealer.

We enjoyed working with the staff there, the environs are comfortable, and they seemed very fair. Andrew sold us the car and Ryan swung a deal to obtain the color and equipment package we wanted and Benny provided most excellent instructions on how to operate the new car and the electronics. Passing written drivers exam in California is easier than learning the complexities of the new navigation and communications equipment in this car. Were happy campers !

Inquired about a Civic Type R last week. Few days pass and I get a text message from a very pushy online Salesman. Told him multiple times I was not ready to sign any paperwork. I was upfront about my situation and pricing I was looking for. At first it was all friendly and then he became passive aggressive.I do not feel I deserved this. The interaction is crazy to me! I was looking at purchasing a 2018 Honda Accord hybrid. The car has just been introduced and is limited in availability. I found this dealership through the Costco Auto Buying Club.After about 2-3 weeks after initial contact, I got a callback. They had 2 Touring models in stock but I wanted the EX model.The salesman Shane checked the whole Bay Area and said he could get me one by swapping models with another dealership.We agreed on a price and I said let’s do the deal.The EX was available at Hansel Hinda about 4 hours after we started the conversation. I drove away with it that evening.This dealership went the extra mile to meet my needs and the salesman was wonderful to work with.I would recommend this dealship to anyone intending to purchase a Honda vehicle.

My A/C stopped working in my CR-V and it needed service. I brought it here instead of the dealership I bought it from despite having a service contract with them because they always tacked on extra stuff that ended up costing me a fortune. My service advisor at Hansel, Jason, was very friendly and efficient. He was able to look up my service contract so that I could have the work done through them and still only pay the deductible for my A/C compressor. I actually did not plan to buy anything on that day, only to begin my search by looking. Kimberly,the sales agent, was friendly and not pushy, she showed me a number of cars that fit within my parameters. I found one that I liked very much and she made it possible to take the car overnight.The next day I returned and met with Tsoai, finance manager, who carefully explained all of the options. He was also able to get me the lowest interest rate possible. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had, I rate Hansel Honda at 10/10!

Do not buy a new car from here without thoroughly checking it in daylight. They will pass it off to you preferably at night with bad lighting. Once you drive it off the lot its your problem. Never buy a new car from this dealership without getting all things that supposed to go with the car, because you will get a run around to get it squared away later. The disconnection between the departments and employees seem pronounced. They each seems to be nice people but its up to the leadership of management to correct this spotty service quality. Buying a new car experience should not stop after you signed the dotted line and gave them the huge check. It should continues for at least the first few months to a year so that we would come back. There should also be a good follow up call, checking in with how the customers enjoy the products.Honda Motor will be hearing from us of this below average purchasing experience. New car with a scratch and missing second key, and the following run around to obtain what owned us, these are not acceptable. This is the worst experience we have had with a Honda Dealership. We have bought many other new Hondas before this time. The right thing to do is for the manager to contact us once he found out about this issues and perhaps, at least, attempt to rectify and turn this experience to a positive one. We just want to see some effort, any effort from this Honda dealership. There are so many dealerships nearby. I was contemplating getting another Honda for me soon but putting it off for now.

I had fun test driving the new Civic Hatchback with Kevin Miller! He is very knowledgeable about the Civic and about cars in general plus he is an excellent communicator via email. Impressive customer experience. Patrick was great and Rosa made financing easy.Update: Patrick was no longer with the dealership only a month or two after my purchase. Never feels good when you buy something and your salesperson leaves shortly afterwards. I had a time-sensitive issue after the purchase and did not receive the assistance I needed in time to act on it. I resolved the issue myself, but it was a not a good reflection on the dealerships post-sale service.

We went back and purchased another vehicle last week, and the customer service is terrible because they are so unorganized. The right hand does not communicate with the left hand and this is making our experience miserable. What a mess!

We just bought our band new Honda Pilot from Hansel Honda. AJ was our sales associate and great through the whole process. We ordered our car which arrived a month earlier than expected. Since we were coming from almost 2 hours away he worked with us on pricing, accessories, etc. prior to purchase day so we wouldnt have to go back and forth too many times. Small details make a huge difference. I brought my Honda in for factory recall work. The fellow at the service desk was professional in handling the paperwork. The work was completed quickly. The little detail? The service tech left the hood unlatched. If I hadnt caught it, the hood could have flown up while driving back along Hwy 101. Attention to detail is key, and Hansel failed.
