I tried this place out becausea) it was close to my place, so my ailing car didnt need to travel farb) a friend reviewed this place and loves it! Who wouldnt try a place that a friend likes?!?I called on a Thursday, got my car in and fixed on Friday. They were quick and thorough with the diagnostics, and informed me of a few things that needed replacing in the future. Unlike other places Ive visited, they showed me my main issue (spark plugs) and showed me why the other parts should be replaced in the future. Nowhere have I been to a place where they show me what the issues were. Id recommend this place for anyone, car inclined or not. They are friendly and knowledgeable, with competitive/fair prices

I am very pleased with MCR Auto, as they have the best labor rates I have found, and are comfortable working on my old minivan. Their prices are more than competitive, they are the lowest I have found. They seem to find parts that other shops have told me are unavailable. They are thorough quick, and they even cleaned my engine compartment for free so they could trace leaks and see signs of trouble faster.They are quick efficient and courteous and after living in Petaluma for over thirty years, they are now my go-to shop for all auto work.
