We purchased a 1993 Fleetwood Bounder that had many issues we did not find when we bought it. Thanks to TJ and crew, they found everything that needed to be fixed. Turned out there were many serious safety issues we were totally unaware of. Their RV guy here IS AWESOME!Cracked chassi welded, all disc brakes replaced, exhaust replaced, generator tune up, engine tune up, AC repair, brake lite reconnected, propane tank reconditioning (outsourced) were a few of the repairs the crew did for us. It did take many months to complete the repairs, but they were thorough and fair with prices. We still use them for repairs. If your RV is NOT your daily commute vehicle you will need to be very patient.

He took me in right away, diagnosed the problems, and had my car finished in no time.He knew exactly what I needed to spend money on and what I didnt (items that it could wait) and didnt pressure me into getting everything fixed all at once. That was amazing! I have never had an auto repair work with me like this before. Im going to start off by saying having someone else touch my truck ...the repairs needed were quite extensive just short of rebuilding the entire engine and since I couldnt be there first hand during the repairs micromanaging would be in understatement ... My truck is a 1990 1 ton lifted 4x4 not easy to work on. Not to mention the age of the truck makes taking stuff apart harder bolts snap off due to age, fact of life. So when I got my truck home its in my driveway idling warm me up and I stabbed the gas once and the bolts holding my fan to my water pump snapped and my fan took out my radiator thats no ones fault thats just bad luck. But at the time I didnt see it that way so Im on the phone chewing out anybody I could get on the phone to listen to me theres three local heroes shops I called all many times Freddy returned my calls I missed the call more than once. There where parts on my truck they were old worn out needed to be replaced I knew it and I still had a problem with them being replaced on top of my radiator being damaged so Freddy decides to come to my house because I cant drive my truck with a damaged radiator so Freddy (owner) came to my house he agreed to repair the radiator do some other repairs totalling 2K+ for free he went far beyond call of duty.he has clàss does good business my truck runs better than it ever has Im very glad I chose local heroes I would recommend them to a friend and I honestly could say if Freddy from local heroes told me to not come back to his establishment I would rightly deserve that I was a pain in the butt and Im putting that lately you have no idea but instead of telling me not to come back ever again I was invited back for any future repairs that truck or any of my other vehicles may need and I will do it with the confidence knowing they have what it takes to put up with me and to get the job done right. And I give two thumbs up and a hats off and a thank you to the crew at the Bodega avenue shop for doing a great job

I took my RV in to get a smog test, unfortunately it did not pass. I was told I had a vacuum leak and I needed a new EGR valve. On two separate occasions the woman who scheduled my appointment just forgot to enter it into the computer, so I had to reschedule and wait another two weeks each time. Finally after FIVE appointments between their two locations I got the vacuum lines repaired, (the work looked good) and EGR replaced, and everything seem to be running fine, that is to say the same as it was when I first brought it in. I then took it in to get smog test number three, and was told it passed! The happiness ended when upon starting my vehicle, it had a very rough idle was running poorly, and my gauge was registering a vacuum leak, which it never had before. I called in immediately when I got it home, and the tech said it should be running fine and perhaps he knocked a hose loose. I could not see any loose hoses so I had to schedule and another appointment and wait another week. I took the RV in again he looked at it for about five minutes said everything looked fine and that he didn’t know what the problem was. So now I have an RV that runs worse than it ever has, and I had to pay quite a bit of money for that. Very unhappy.

Haven’t had the pleasure yet of having Fred and staff work on my classic car. Still doing a full inspection. I must say that after today I honestly feel like I am in good hands. I was really impressed on the automotive knowledge and friendly staff. Fred offered to give me a ride home because my car was not safe to drive, and I didn’t have a ride. “Thank you for Fred “. The oil change and system check was competed in a timely manner but I did not receive a notice that he car was ready until after I phoned.

Got in same day appointment. Chrissy was great, very helpful. The tech, Chris, very professional. Finished on time and I was back on the road. I can definitely recommend and will use again.

We had an hvac issue with our highlander and these guys were super helpful and quick helping me get the correct needed part that was affordable and quality. They were awesomely nice, but I knew they would be from their other location. Charged a fair price for finding a circuit and fuse I couldnt identify, when they could have charged a fortune.

Transmission is working well now with the noise gone but still have little whining noise on acceleration. Will transmission fluid exchange eliminate the noise or improve trans performance? I requested a quote online and received a phone call within an hour and was able to get a last minute oil change and did not mind dropping my car off for the day. Another added bonus was they were able to change my brake fluid and replace a bad headlight adaptor all in the same day. TJ was awesome to work with over the phone & in person. Price was incredibly reasonable. Definitely heros in my book. Will be a returning customer.

I live very near the shop. One morning my car wouldnt start. I went to talk to Conrad and he asked me what was wrong. I informed him Im NOT a car guy and said Hey, I put key in, car no go. Conrad asked me what sound the car made. I imitated the sound and he grabbed a charger and followed me home then hooked it up to my car and I got to work on time.I dont go to car shops much as my car is newer, but this experience stood out for me and I will for sure go back! The fact that I had minimal information and he knew exactly what to do speaks volumes! I hope I get Conrad every time I go there!This is just one of my favorite interactions with him. First off we were quoted USD 1094 for a job, when we got back we were told that they had raised that eatimate by USD 200, The owner Tim was extremely rude in his manners and demanded immediate payment for this remnant, rude and disrespectful, their creditcard service stations did not work.So you can imagine it was fun to scramble for cash and other forms of payment.Tottaly rubbishSTAY AWAY

I talked to fred the owner he told me i need a new mass air flow sensor he said the cost would be 550.00 for the part and then labor total would be 1000.00 i talked to my friend that is a mechanic and he said.... NO WAY OUT OF LINE.....he said that takes 10 minutes to install not 5 hours i called autozone and the very nice and said that flow sensor was only 153.33 i called midas and the were able to install it for less to nothing i was there for no more then 15 minutes i also told him that money was tight for me and he still wanted to gouge me, to do that to a women SHAME ON YOU FRED i will never take my car there ...i will tell everyone how he runs his business very bad customer service do your research so he does not do this to you..

Best ever! Knowlegable, fast, friendly, theyre our heros! They saved our vacation after we broke down in Petaluma. When the BIG dealer told us that we have major repair and practically all motor had to be taken out (including our checkbook lol) we turned for help to Freddy, in no time at all we have been on the road to our destination with minimal expense and very big gratitude in our hearts! Horrible. Typical Nickel and Dime auto repair. Many other stand-up places to go instead (Yotoluma & Out West). My family has been a customer here for two decades and the new management/staff is turning to the dark side of auto repair. Im done with this place.
