Usually a pleasant experience in the store. The sales reps are friendly and they arent as pushy on trying to get me to buy things I dont need(they used to be overly pushy on certain things if you recall back in the days)

What a JOKE!!! Advertising buying USED PS4 pro 1tb for $220 with pro membership. Call for over a half hour trying to get ahold of someone before I drive 45 minutes to get there. No one answers. Drive there and the guy wants to deduct $50 for the remote being used! Perfectly fine 6 month old remote with less that 200 hrs on it! They sell these things for $389 USED WITH USED REMOTES..... RIP OFF! Just sold it online for $250 in about 10 minutes! WONT SPEND ANOTHER DIME THERE......EVER!

Only upside is the organization of products displayed. I knew what I was looking for and found it easy. Store manager Slade was rude to a customer that wanted a refund. Wasnt what he said it was how he said. Rule of thumb as a manager you dont tell customers that you dont care what they buy and dont buy. Very unprofessional. Should of kept the Ottawa location up instead of the Peru location. Also mask mandate has been implemented regardless of vaccination. Sad.

The Peru store is the best one Ive been to. The guys working here are very knowledgeable and very helpful! Theyre polite as well! If theyre out of stock theyll look online and see if its in a wear house or another store! If you get your item and its broken or not the right item, theyll happily take it back and either send it back or credit you, depending on if it falls with in store policy.

Got the gift cards we needed. Store associate was very helpful and pleasant.

So brand new 49$ mafia definitive edition came out end of Sept 2020 theyll give you 8$ cash or 10$ credit. No wonder their still in business. Place is a rip off. I recommend marketplace on FB or ebay. These ppl are scam artists at there finest

Allowed me to buy a $321 purchase, didn’t call to tell me there was an error. Drove over an hour to go in, and didn’t give me a refund right away.

This is probably the best GameStop I have ever been to. The workers were friendly and super helpful. When I asked one of the workers if NBA2k 19 was worth getting he told me to wait a second and as I waited I watched him walk over to another worker there and bring that worker over to me so he could explain all the new stuff and that it is better then the last games cause he new more about then the initial worker I was talking to. Great service all around.

I used to love this place. It used to be always stocked nicely and had one of the kindest staff of any Gamestop Ive been too. Nowadays theyre sold out of new games day one, the store is a mess, and theres a weird smell lingering around. All the old employees are gone, and the new blond manager is really the cherry on top that keeps me from going in anymore. Something about a retail employee shrugging at your question is a huge red flag to a paying customer with an open wallet.I have to say, no wonder GameStop is slowly going bankrupt if THIS is how they run their stores. My last couple of experiences made me feel like a nuisance for even walking in the shop; now I just buy my games from the Walmart next door if I dont want to wait for Amazons two-day prime shipping.

The staff was very helpful and polite, even during a late night release when they were having to stay late and the store was full.
